Shop is really nice, and the staff very pleasant however, I must admit it was not the best manicure I ever had. The person that did my nails made then too thick and then put 6 coats of polish on them. I washed my dishes later on and the polish peeled up. Literally THE WORST pedicure I have ever received in my life. Walked in on a Tuesday morning at 11:10 with a friend. There were no other customers getting pedicures just one woman finishing a manicure. The salon smelled like fried food and the ladies who did our pedicures came from the back and were in the middle of a lunch break. They were trying to push the "spa" treatment service on us which is $45 for scented water and scrub. Total rip off. We got the basic pedicure which amounted to literally a toenail trim & polish change that took them just under 20 minutes to finish. I had to point out that my manicurist had not trimmed my nails short enough or trimmed my cuticles at all. I brought my own brand new polish which she globed unevenly onto my nails AND skin. I could still see remnants of the previous polish color and pointed that out. She seemed to not understand what I was saying or maybe just didn't care. The cuticle scissors, nail clippers, and other tools are "sanitized" in a blue solution that had pieces of skin and debris in it. The floors are filthy, the work tables are cluttered, and trash is not properly disposed of. Along with the uncleanliness, the professionalism of the woman doing my nails left much to be desired. I come to this town to visit my friends and we had a girls day and decided to do our nails. My friend comes here regularly but this was my first time. There was so many people doing nails and I will say it's much bigger than salons in NY. The girl who did my nails was very sweet and did an awesome job on my nails. I did a gel filling with gel color. She did a good job with cleaning up the cuticles and around my nails. She also trimmed my nails and shaped them perfectly just how I wanted them in squares. She took her time and didn't rush through the job just to get them done. It really shows when they take there time out to perfect the job. We both chose a scent, but when we went to pay, THEN they told us it was $30 ON TOP of the price of the pedi because we had a scent!!! I was greeted promptly, and sat in a chair right away as the place was pretty empty. I came for a manicure and pedicure with the intention of just getting a regular nail polish for both. Word of advice - if they ask you about wanting the "spa" pedi or normal one, just opt for the normal one. For a significant amount of more money, the only difference is the dime sized amount of mask the put on your calfs before wrapping them with cling wrap - lesson learned. I decided to get the gel polish for both, which does jack the price up more than expected, but no big deal because it typically lasts longer and looks better. Very little time was taken on my feet, and he didn't even use pressure when using the pumice stone. My feet were just as dry and ugly as when I came in, with the addition of some lotion, yet very pretty toe nails. I was happy with my manicure at the time (even tho he had to redo my pointer finger twice, still with it looking messy). I WAS happy, that was until 3 days later when 7 out of 10 nails have the gel polish peeling at the cuticle. After spending $70 on a manicure and pedicure, I am less than impressed. I really do enjoy going here. I can agree that it is hit or miss depending on who does them. This was my first time ever getting a pedicure and I'll never go without them ever again (I've really been missing out). Lisa did both my nails and toes this time and I really could not be happier. The last time I was there I was very disappointed though. It was a younger girl who did them and the polish was so uneven and looked clumpy. I get coffin nails and across the top where it's supposed to be strait had slants. Some nails we're very thick and looked so bulky. I'm not the type to complain and I still gave a good tip. We were sat for spa pedicures and simply watched them take other customers ahead of us. Staff will pick and choose which client they want to do next despite who was there first/waiting longest/had earliest appointment time. When they get to you, expect rudeness and staff just walk away mid-sentence to work on someone else. Making an appointment means NOTHING as each member of your party will be done separately and get done HOURS apart. Expect to be there 2-3 hours longer than you would think. I scheduled a manicure/pedicure appointment for 8 people, first thing in the morning. They were ready for us as soon as we walked in the door. The staff was very pleasant, professional and organized. The facility was bright, spacious and clean and the prices are very reasonable. They had enough staff and chairs that we could all be taken care of at the same time. When entering all seemed well. But soon I was sat down and asked what I would want as a scent. So I chose this scent thinking oh it's just part of the process for the regular pedicure. Following my pedicure and manicure I was charged $80+ for Jelly which they called a "spa pedicure" which included things that come with a normal pedicure and not much more except rocks following. It is very inconsiderate to not express to customers about extra costs and just ask them what scent they want with no explanations. I also expressed to the lady that I did not want the bottoms of my feet done due to being ticklish and it makes me uncomfortable, she looked at me, laughed and started doing the bottoms of my feet after acknowledging that i did not want them done. The woman was sort of rude and really rough on my hands. None of my nails are even in shaped or size and none of the take up my entire nail. I normally am very happy with the services. The only two exceptions are when the woman who owns the place (or is at least very chummy with the male who sits at the desk) did the work. Today i got a full acrylic set of nails. I now have ten painted globs at the end of each finger. The edges of the nails are so thick that you can see the outline of the applied tips. Her whole attitude sucked when I declined her constant attempts to switch to gel. Gel nails. Gel color. Gel topcoat. I was very clear about not wanting gel from the start. The other time I scheduled a deep cleanse facial. She started ten minutes late. Left the room twice and ended ten minutes early. I was charged for a one hour service despite actually getting 35 minutes of service at the most. Total burn. Amazingly the women who work for this nasty lady are great at doing manicures and pedicures. Unlike her they are friendly, attentive, and very deserving of great tips. If you go there do NOT let the owner do anything. She is money driven and takes no pride in her work. read more

Every time I come here it's been horrible... I went for a pedicure, and she asked if I wanted gel, I asked how much more and instead of telling me she just went in and did it without me knowing till my toes were in the UV light and it was too late. Less than 24 hours later, I have toes already missing polish. Never once have I left there without polish all around my fingers or toes. My nail tech DID NOT even file my toes, and left the last three unbuffed on both feet. And you would think that that if you clearly see there is a cut on someone's leg, you would be gentle when exfoliating. Nope, not at all. Every time I get my nails reshapened, they look awful. There are one or two good techs here but overall the business is terrible. They are rude, rushed and have NO customer service. I currently have acrylics that I had bees getting filled here but when I went to a more upscale salon as a gift for a fill I learned they had been doing the acrylic wrong for a few months. The last fill I had the acrylic had not been cured properly so it was still wet underneath the gel paint causing my nails to peel away from the nail bed. Not my first Issue with Lebanon Nail and Spa but surely my last. Needless to say I will not be returning to this salon EVER. Their services are cheap but you exactly get what you pay for, cheap service = cheaply done nails. They are willing to skimp on cost at every turn even if it means doing the service incorrectly and potentially dangerous or damaging. In Lebanon there are many salons willing to do great nails at an affordable cost while still doing them correctly. I suggest checking out one of those other places. read more

I've come here several times before and never had any serious issues until today. I scheduled an appointment the night before with a specific technician, and when I got there I got this man who was the only one ready to give manicures. I was annoyed but let it slide. Then as he was filing my nails he kept rubbing the edge of the nail file into my skin, cutting about 4 or 5 or my fingers open, even after I showed discomfort and told him he was filing my skin. Then he began painting my nails with a color I hadn't chosen. Now that I think about it I think he originally did bring the color I picked over and was checking to see if there was enough polish in it, there must not have been since he chose a different color himself. I told him I picked a different color and he told me I could go look again but by that time I just wanted to leave and I let him use the color he chose. Then at the end they don't allow you to leave a tip on your card, I didn't see a sign anywhere about this. He waited at the register the whole time until I literally had to go in my car and scavenge for change because he clearly was expecting a tip. Will not revisit. read more

..today I had an appt.. that I had called ahead to schedule. Normal process is when you go you pick the polish you want, which I did--Acrylic. I never do Gel, I don't think it is worth the extra $10 because even it lasts 3 weeks vs. the normal 2, when nails grow out, they don't look good....Anyway, I got my Pedicure, no problem. When I got my nails done, the woman doing my nails reached into her drawer, pulled out another bottle of polish that was also black and used that one on my hands. I didn't think to ask her why because I trusted that she had a good reason to do it, like perhaps the acrylic polish bottle I had picked was too thick or goopey......When I went to pay out, here she had used a Gel Nail Polish that I had not asked for and charged me an extra $10.00. When I questioned the check out woman on it, the woman who had actually done my nails, told her "she wanted me to try Gel"...She didn't ask me and she never mentioned she was switching the acrylic nail polish out for the gel. Then the woman at the register said to me twice over my objections, "It is only $10.00! If you don't want the gel, go sit down, we have to remove it and put the other on you." I told her that since I had not asked for it, I didn't think I should have to pay for it and I thought it was dishonest and sneaky to put a product on me that I did not ask for and then strong arm me to pay for it. She was not going to back down, just kept telling me to go sit down as I could not leave if I would not pay for it. Unfortunately, I had been there for over one hour and thirty five minutes and I just didn't have the time to stay. So I did end up paying for the Gel....and get this, before I had went in, I double checked the on line prices and had taken exactly the cash I needed plus $10 in tip....when I explained that to the lady in charge that due to the extra $10 charge for the gel, that I had no tip money, she said, "They don't need tipped!" and put all the money in her drawer....so for that for extra $10 that she strong armed out of me, she lost a steady and loyal customer as I have been going there for several years.... I think when I spend my money in a business it is unspoken that it be a mutually beneficial relationship based on trust. Well I don't believe that it is good business to force someone to buy something they didn't ask for. I suspect this is a process they employ often (why I think this is that for a long time I could not find a price list, I had to always ask and despite me having the exact same services rendered each time, my costs often ranged from $50-$70 at times) I suspect the language barrier is used as an excuse to pretend that the client misunderstands something they asked you....because that is what the lady said, that she asked me....She did not. I understand the word "gel" even if is in the middle of a sentence consisting of another language....so while the $10 won't break me, I hope they hold onto it because it is the last money they will ever get out of me. I won't go back and I suspect many of you reading this will 2nd guess using their services again...and frankly, it is such a risk they take being dishonest like that.
