South Park Shops is a strip mall that contains about 20 tenants, including for retail, food, and…read moreservices. It is in a high-traffic and fairly affluent area. Currently, retail stores here include Dollar Tree, Pet Supplies Plus, Fine Wine & Good Spirits, South Hills Jewelers, a T-Mobile. Food businesses include Panera, McDonald's, Jersey Mike's Subs, Bruegger's Bagels, and Moe's Southwest Grill. Service businesses include UPS, Quest Diagnostics, Massage Envy, H&R Block, Brentwood Bank, and several others. In this strip mall, I shopped in a few retail stores. On a busy Saturday, the free parking lot had a sufficient number of spaces for me to park my vehicle. I could not shop for clothing, shoes, or accessories here, but I was able to purchase some hygiene products, pet supplies, wines, etcetera.

Anchor stores include Macy's, Von Maur, Dick's, and Barnes and Noble. A movie theater is a walk across the large parking lot. About 21 casual restaurants sell foods and beverages. I have shopped at this mall off and on for over 10 years. I shop mostly for women's clothing, foods, and gifts. During my most recent shopping trip, I felt happy with the condition of the mall and with the selection and prices of merchandise. Overall, I think that South Hills Village is one of the best malls in the Pittsburgh area.

They even hold classic car shows and farmer's markets here during the spring and summer months. Christ, move right across the road (swanky neighborhood), and you'll almost never need to drive anywhere again!

This strip mall is along a high-traffic road in a fairly well-to-do area, so it is easy to get to and does not seem to have much crime. I occasionally shop at Village Square Mall. Most recently, I shopped in several of its retail stores. I felt happy with the availability of parking spaces in the free lot and with the selection and prices of merchandise in the stores. My favorite stores here are the Kohl's and the Fine Wine & Good Spirits. I think that this strip mall is for people who either live in the area or who are passing through while visiting other businesses nearby.

The garage had several hundred spaces. The rates were a bit expensive--starting at $7 for less than 30 minutes to $29 for up to 24 hours and $30 for events. At least I got a parking spot and that my vehicle was safe.

I hung my items up so the attendant could count them and she noticed I had a Starbucks drink and told me I had to either leave it in the cart or with her at the counter (GROSS!). I definitely wasn't doing that, so she wouldn't let me try the clothes on. She was super rude about it too. I told her that I walked around the store with it, so what was the difference if I brought it in the fitting room?? I could have spilled it anywhere in the store and it would have had to have been cleaned up. If drinks aren't allowed, they should post it. It was just an off-putting experience and I told her that I'm a grown up and I can handle having a drink. In the past, I also had a bad experience with this attendant. She's miserable. To sum it up, I left the store without trying on the clothes. The line is always massively long when I go in here anyway. I doubt that I will go back to this location again.

Furthermore, this mall is right next to Banksville Road, which often has very busy traffic. I have not experienced major problems with other vehicles, but I can understand how other customers do.
