As of the time of this review, options for foods and drinks include a Giant Eagle grocery store, a Fine Wine & Good Spirits, and about 20 restaurants (e.g., Burgatory, Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, Crazy Mason, Eat 'n Park, Jimmy John's, Longhorn, Storming Crab, and Yokoso). I enjoy many of the restaurants. Retail stores present a good number of options for clothing (e.g., Dick's Sporting Goods, LOFT, and Rally House), footwear (e.g., DSW and Shoe Fly), home goods (e.g., Costco, Lowe's, Michael's, Mattress Firm, and Petco), and health and beauty products (e.g., Bath & Body Works, GNC, and Ulta). Current entertainment includes AMC movie theater, Barnes & Noble bookstore, Dave & Buster's, Improv comedy club, Paint Monkey, and Urban Air Adventure Park. Other current businesses are a few banks, a few hotels, some cell-phone stores, a gym, and healthcare providers (e.g., dental and vision). As you can see, this shopping center has numerous options for different types of customers to eat a meal, go shopping, and be entertained. This shopping center does not contain all of my favorite stores, but I like it more than most other shopping centers in the Pittsburgh area. It is a cool trendy place and I had fun walking around and taking it all in. I looked it up and it sits on the old U.S. Steel's Homestead Steel Works plant and there are some smokestacks and other artistic elements still visible. I grabbed a coffee at Starbucks, shopped at Ultra Beauty, Target, and at Lunch Mexican restaurant. Would recommend the area.

Currently, retail stores here include Dollar Tree, Pet Supplies Plus, Fine Wine & Good Spirits, South Hills Jewelers, a T-Mobile. Food businesses include Panera, McDonald's, Jersey Mike's Subs, Bruegger's Bagels, and Moe's Southwest Grill. Service businesses include UPS, Quest Diagnostics, Massage Envy, H&R Block, Brentwood Bank, and several others. In this strip mall, I shopped in a few retail stores. On a busy Saturday, the free parking lot had a sufficient number of spaces for me to park my vehicle. I could not shop for clothing, shoes, or accessories here, but I was able to purchase some hygiene products, pet supplies, wines, etcetera.

It was my birthday so I figured I'd get one. I purchased a FunFetti cupcake and video taped the robotic arm scooping up my little morsel. As I turned, low and behold, the OWNERS arrived with new trays of cupcakes to load the machine. As they eyed me for videoing their machine I said nervously.. IT'S MY BIRTHDAY SO I GOT ONE! The owners laughed and said IN THAT CASE HAVE ANOTHER ONE FOR FREE...... that's right I got two cupcakes on my birthday! Oh yea.. and the mall is nice. They're doing what they can with two rows of angled parking and a clearly marked one way route through the parking lot. Because, wow, there is NOT enough room if someone goes the wrong way. I was here for the Planet Fitness but you'll also find some fast casual restaurants including Piacquadio's, a cafe, a Hallmark shop, a large pharmacy and a number of professional offices and medical offices. I visited this strip mall one time to buy donuts from Madsen Donuts. The parking lot had enough spaces for me to find a spot for my vehicle. Obviously this strip mall does not have tenants for clothing, shoes, accessories, groceries, health and hygiene products, pet supplies, furniture, electronics, etcetera, so it more for local residents who need a very specific product or service.

But it does have a decent spread of stores to choose from. Like the name says, this is a town square. Complete with a post office and tax service center. Other stores that dot the area range from sports ware to grocery. There are also some chain stores that pop up in every shopping destination that you stop at. I really love the layout they have here as it makes you feel like you are in a close knit community. I'm sure if I would have stopped here during a warmer month I would have probably just sat there and people watch. It's actually beautiful, all red brick, a nice walkway in the center. Maybe I will stop back here when it is warmer, there will be more people around by then and I won't be blown across the parking lot by the gusts of bone chilling air.
