This place is great. It carry's all that hard to find stuff the big stores don't. Manchester has nothing but very old homes and this place has the odd stuff, hinges, plumbing, chimney stuff etc that HD doesn't carry. Also, it has about the same number of employees that work here as Home Depot. The difference being HD is 100000 sq ft and you can't find anyone. This place is 4000 sq ft and there's someone to help around every corner. Great prices too for a small shop. read more

Leblanc's Hardware is a iconic staple of the community. They are family owned and run and care about the customer. I am blow away as to how often they can beat the price of stores like Home Depot and Lowe's. Of course, with the backing of a company like True Value, that should not come as a real surprise. Mr. Phil Leblanc is also a dedicated member of his community providing leadership and support to both his church and the Boy Scout Troop that his boys were both in. I broke my car key totally in half today. Called the dealership and the service department was closed. Headed to Home Depot but they could not help me. The employee from Home Depot suggested that I try True Value. Lablanc True Value did not even hesitate to help me. They were very friendly and created the perfect key. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! read more

Very helpful staff! The staff replaced gaskets on an old faucet that I needed to get fixed! I highly recommend to go there.

Let me just say this hardware store and the employees have won me over as a future customer after just one visit. All I needed was some grass seed, not realizing they close at 5:30, I pulled in. Approaching the door I realized one of the workers was holding the door for me the 'Closed, sign in the other door. He told me it was no problem and that that's why he was holding the door. I told him I was looking for and then he proceeded to spend 10 minutes explaining the differences and products that they offered. Staff was incredibly kind and courteous given that they probably wanted to go home. They were extremely professional, polite, and knowledgable about the products they offer. I would highly recommend this location. It may be a little bit longer of a drive for me from my house but I'm willing to go the distance for such great customer service. read more

This is as good as a neighborhood, family-run, hardware store can get. The employees are knowledgeable and very willing to help, without being overbearing. You can get in and out with what you need in a few minutes. Edit - Just a comment on Dora Q.'s review. Yes, they usually greet me at the door as soon as I walk in, but if I know where I'm going, a simple "No thanks" is all it takes to get them to politely back off and let you go on your way. And if I change my mind and need help, all I need to do is make eye contact with one of the help and there they are. So don't be put off by their immediate greetings. It's all good. read more

Nice littl mom and pop hardware store had allot of stuff u can't find At home depot,but a little pricey, but really knowledgeable staff

I visited this store many years ago, shortly before the internet came into being. Seemed like a quaint Mom and Pop hardware store. I proceeded to the back of the store where they were replacing glass for customers. I had a question and waited for the guy working there to finish what he was doing. When he was done he turned to me and brashly said, "how can I help you Ma'am?" Being of the male persuasion and a bit insulted I asked my question and left. I have been in the store one time after that and got a really bad vibe out of the place so I gotta say that I can't recommend this place at all. Maybe I had a few bad experiences there, but then again who knows. Maybe the place has changed since then, dunno. read more

I have tried many times to give business to this store, but each time I am quickly approached as soon as I open the door, service? or is it because they think I am going to steal? it give me no time to browse to add additional sales , I have no clue what else is in the store because I get the impression they want me in and out, so I have stopped going there and continue to use home depot where I may have to look for assistance but at least I can shop around and buy more items read more

I have been a customer of leblanc's since it opened on Jewett St., prior to all the "big ones" coming into being. I 'm not disillusioned with these big hardware stores being less expensive, they are not. Leblanc carries a line of all items, good sellers or not. Your large stores carry only what sells every day. Do yourself a favor, go to Leblanc first. The clerks knowledge of all items carried far surpasses the big stores. read more
