The food was super good and everyone was so nice. The music was relaxing. It was clean in side and there was a cool wall with drawings and notes on it.

This sandwich shop reminds me of Chicago and NYC delis. Fresh meats, cheeses, veggies and bread. The kind of sandwich that sticks with you (I'm a very positive way aka always thinking about it and wanting more). Worth the trip to the 'burbs.

If you like Jersey Mike's, this is similar. The bread is made in-house, deli meats and cheese are sliced in front of you, and you can get the fixings: lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar, etc. Prices are super reasonable for a half or footling sub. Sides include chips or potato salad or pasta salad. I wasn't too crazy about the salads, so I'd probably stick with chips next time.

Lebo subs is a great local spot! They cut all the meats and cheeses to order and I haven't had a bad sub yet! The Lebo is by far my fav but there are so many options!!! Don't forget to sign up for their loyalty program to earn some free food too!

Half veggie on wheat, Jersey style.

I had a much better experience here today. 1/2 a veggie sub is now a little over $8 and I actually had a portion size that was worth talking about this time. The veggies were very fresh, and so was the bread. They didn't ask if I wanted wheat or white this time, but did ask what cheese so that was nice!

My favorite spot to grab a turkey hoagie in the Mt. Lebanon area. The food is consistently good and the staff is friendly.

Staff is always friendly and the food is fresh. Much better than subway and at comparable prices. They also serve soda via bottle.

Great place for a made to order sub with high quality ingredients! It's a favorite when meeting former coworkers during the lunch hour.

Meat and cheese sliced to order and a really awesome staff on my most recent visit. Definitely worth a visit and a repeat visit at that.

The best subs in Pittsburgh. Jersey Style is the best. As good a sub as you can find away from the east coast.

Fredos Deli - Burek w/Cheese (Sirnica). So delicious!

I had to stop into Fredo's after seeing photos from my daughter who had just spent two weeks in Bosnia. The interior of Fredo's is like stepping into a small shop you'd find in Bosnia. The yellow walls are welcoming, and cozy. There's a small variety of snacks, and beverages on one side of the shop, and a large counter where you'd place your order. There are a few tables for dining in, but I chose to take my order home. I ordered a small Cevapi and Sirnica, plus picked up some Croatian chocolate for dessert. The Cevapi were delicious skinless beef and veal sausages, that were nicely savory and well browned. A cup of chopped onions, and what I think was a yogurt sauce came with my Cevapi which added more flavor and an overall goodness to the Cevapi. A bread similar to a pita made eating Cevapi easy, and filling. The Sirnica was equally delicious. A wonderful mix of flaky, chewy phyllo pastry, and cheese baked inside the pastry. It definitely hit the spot with a nice balance of a light pastry and mild cheese. I ate the leftover half cold, and it was just as good! The lady at the counter was friendly, and patient with me. The menu is truly a deli menu full of sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. If you're wanting to go for the House Specials, you won't be disappointed!

They have a couple of tables inside for dining and we chose the one closest to the coffee bar. The one employee there took our order and made our food right next to us at the counter/kitchen set up located behind the register. We did see several takeout orders get picked up while we were there. My mom had the gyro salad and I ordered an Italian with no onions or dressing. My mom was disappointed that the "greens" were actually chopped romaine and/or iceberg. The gyro meat was flavorful and had a nice crisp to the outside and the homemade dressing was delicious. The Italian was also decent. I'm picky when it comes to hoagie rolls and this baguette was soft and fresh. I typically prefer more of a crisp exterior, but this was fine. The meat and toppings were fresh and the sandwich was served with a small bag of Lay's on the side. Overall, we had a nice experience dining in the small deli, but with so many options in the Pittsburgh area, I can't say we were wowed enough to be repeat customers.

We didn't, but somehow got lucky snagging seats at the bar... which honestly turned out to be a perfect spot to eat too! The beet salad was SO good I could've easily ordered a second without hesitation. I had a self-proclaimed Reuben connoisseur with me, and he declared it the best Reuben he's ever had (second only to his own, of course ). It's not your typical version either--no standard Thousand Island overload. The corned beef was perfectly peppered and packed with flavor, and even the bread stood out. Fish tacos? Absolutely a yes. Fresh, flavorful, and just done right. We split sides--tater tots for one dish and the homemade chips for the other. Always go for the homemade chips here. WOW! They had this subtle sweetness that made them seriously addictive. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and food that lives up to the hype. Totally worth it! One quick heads up: there's a 3% fee if you use a credit card, so plan accordingly.

What an improvement over the tiny little order-at-the-counter spot with the free wine and rickety folding chairs! The food was good before, and it's still good, but the place is now a full service, upstairs-downstairs cozy spot. We had fried pickles, a sunshine salad (as a side salad), and a couple of hot dogs--the bacon dog and the Picklesburgh dog. Pickles were a tiny bit greasy but crunchy and substantial. The side salad was absolutely delicious with lots of textures and crunch, both acidic and a little sweet all at the same time. I would order it as a dinner salad for sure. I didn't try the bacon dog, but my husband liked it. The Picklesburgh dog was a delicious mess--truly, it was so messy--but it was crunchy and salty and briny, and totally worth ordering next time I'm in the mood for a dog. I shouldn't have waited so long to go back to Brick and Mortar; I'm glad we finally checked it out.
