What a total scam and a complete waste of time. Called a week ahead and got a quote for an item. Go to pick it up and all of the sudden, the price just doubled. They started blaming us and saying that we misunderstood but when we got the manager on the phone, she took full responsibility and said that it was their mistake but what did she do about it. I knew then, I be in good hands. I ordered a Kanafe sandwich. It's hard to describe, sweet cheese type dessert. Baklava, which is one of the best I had ever had. This place has the best kunafa in the USA and easily top 10 in the world. Yes, you read right, I ate it at many place in Lebanon, not as good. The cheese blend is soft and not too greasy, the crust is heavenly, but what really sets it apart is the sesame dome bread it's stuffed into. It doesn't get soggy and there are sesame seeds on every little surface of that bread. Go there, eat the kunafa, forget the other distractions, the baklava is ok, the sfouf is my favorite in town, reminds me a little of baba sweets Lebanon but not quite there. I visited for the first time the other day... I wanted to see what this "cheese dome" business was all about. Being a huge fan of knafa (kanefa?), I wanted to try the dessert in bun form and I was NOT disappointed. How they manage to cram 8 metric tons of sweet, buttery cheese inside a 2oz sesame pita is a miraculous feat of physics. I ate the pleasure dome on my commute to work and was still full of cheese come 1pm. I take away two stars because the two ladies at the counter couldn't look less enthused at my presence. I didn't get a "hello! How are you! Choose a damn dessert and leave!" ... nothing. No smile... even a rolling of the eyes would have at least acknowledged my presence in the store. It was awkward. This is my to go shop for Kanafeh! This place offers baklava, croissants (many flavors), and variety of kanefh. I find there kanaefh to be really good especially the all white one with cheese inside. The place doesn't look much from outside, well, it doesn't look much inside either, other than an oversize picture of a Lebanese kunafeh sandwich on the wall that assuredly tells you that you've come to the right place! On the counter, there are two kunafeh trays and a pile of puffed up sesame sprinkled kaak, the Lebanese street bread. The kunafeh is warm, you can see the cheese layer oozing and spreading out under golden brown crusty semolina topping. Kaak is still slightly warm, almost completely hollow but a thin chewy layer adorned with toasted sesame seeds. When you stuff that warm gooey and crusty kunafeh inside, drizzle in a few drops of rose water syrup and then take a bite, it's one amazing sandwich. Of course you can eat the kunafeh alone as dessert, but the sandwich experience adds more fun and is quite uniquely Lebanese. The menu is short, it's mainly a kunafeh place. Enjoy! read more

Sweets are good but service is HORRIBLE! No such mentality of treating customers with respect. The young girls working there are rude and won't answer questions. Not only that, they force u to buy in bulk and won't give the option of selling individually. Basic business is u can charge a little extra for individual pieces verses in bulk, let the customer decide which unit price to pay. I asked them to put kunafa and baklava in one box and was told I can't. I asked why and response was I can't. I asked if it was a health code violation and again the dummy says I can't! Then she calls her sidekick to clarify and answer was we can't! Then after I basically interrogated and asked WHAT IS THE REASON, I can't is an action, THEN I got a response of "it might leak"... I'm pregnant and was craving the kenafa nabulsiya and they sell it there. It was my first time I walked in and I literally was being avoided, they would rather talk to men then women. The girls behind the counter are rude. I told her I wanted kenafa nabulsiya she said they don't have they just have the kenafa I asked what is the difference and she literally mumbled and when I left she literally started making fun of me and laughing at me with her coworker. The two girls behind the counter need to learn customer service or don't work there at all.
