The biscoff roller is the yummiest dessert I've ever tasted; I don't think it's an official item on the menu but the have it if you ask. It's huge and can easily split between two people. Shakes, smoothies, dips and sundaes. The flavour combinations are endless. Far more than an ice cream shoppe, they're putting flavours on waffles and crepes! First visit but we were made to feel like old friends. Ahmed (?) was more than helpful. I decided on Mint Chocolate gelato which was delightful. A nice hot cuppa joe and I was set. Everyone else had Boba drinks or smoothies. This is its own culture unto itself. Like a new concept opening for us. This young man was bursting with information and great recommendations. Hope he's here on our return visit! It was a small trip to watch more than a dozen guys congregating late at night without the benefit of alcohol. Hanging out, rapping it out, over a variety of gelato. Pretty inspiring, in a way. That's the vibe. I was visiting with friends to satisfy a sweet tooth. I ordered the chocolate ice cream. There were many flavors of gelati however none of them were as apparent so I went with chocolate. My friend ordered the biscotti crepe sushi which was fun and it was yummy as well! The crepes are not stuffed -- all of the toppings are added on top. The price of the ice cream was a little higher than normal but I would recommend getting something else like a crepe. There was limited seating inside if busy but you can also try to sit outside. Plenty of utensils as well. read more

Just door dashed this and the ashta is literally so sour and there is a foul smell coming off of the smoothie. I took a sip and it didn't taste right so I took a bite of the ashta and was going to throw up. You can tell there is something wrong with it because ashta is usually thicker and more like clotted cream. I made my husband taste it just to make sure it wasn't just my taste buds and sure enough he immediately spit it out. I called the store to let them know and the guy said I just tasted it and it tastes fine and sweet to me. Excuse me sir? It literally tastes like acid from how sour it is. He didn't bother to apologize or offer any sort of resolution. Anyways will not be ordering from this establishment again read more

This place was amazing. Friendly, super helpful service. Delicious ice cream and creative combinations. This was exactly the type of sweet treat I was craving after a garlicky meal. I had the Nutella ice cream between two chocolate chip cookies. I got the first scoop for this flavor which met extra chocolate from the top. Yum! My husband and daughter had the coconut almond parfait. They really enjoyed it too. So many fun items to try. We don't live close to here but I will still come back. Also they sell bottled water. And I was about to get one but the woman helping me asked if I'd prefer the free tap water with ice. Yes! I appreciate the honestly and generosity, versus just trying to make the extra money. Dense, chewy, refreshing goodness like nothing I'd ever had in my life! The texture reminds me of taffy or mochi, except cold and creamy. Wow . Although this place isn't the best for my waistline, it is my go to for a special treat / cheat meal. My only complaint is that there are too many amazing options-it's too hard to make a choice, and I always end up ordering too much . The dearborn heights location isn't ideal for dining in, but it's not a big deal as the staff is so friendly and welcoming. They've recently opened a larger location in East dearborn and I'll be checking that location out soon! read more

La gelati is such a gem in Dearborn Heights and a perfect craving satisfier because of their wide range of delicious Icecream, waffles, drinks, cr, soft serve, and endless creations. The staff is also always friendly! My one star off definitely doesn't reflect the food, rather the place inside, it is a bit off putting if one isn't familiar with their food. Also it would be nice to be able to sit inside but due to small space it's not somewhere you could comfortably sit. Oh and their bubble tea was way too sweet and strange flavored. Other than that, they hit the spot with their dessert creations. Keep that up and i wish you the chance to expand your store and seating situation, and overall improvement So-i readded the one star that i had taken off for the interior, because comeone, we all know good food is the ultimate goal and these guys KILL IT! Found this spot on Yelp because husband and I was craving a dessert. I originally wanted a Superman milkshake but they were out of Superman ice cream so we both decided to get the Lotus Biscoff milkshake. After our first sip we were hooked!! They used this ice cream that was brown and the cashier said it was called lotus but I'm thinking it was like a caramel ice cream as I couldn't find it online to purchase. Resisting stopping at this gelato shop is getting harder and harder now that we've hit this June heat! I love this shops ice creams and Bubba pop drinks. My favorite galati flavors are the Ashta and Pistachio, of course. Reminds me of being back in the Middle East where this stuff is in every corner at all times, rain or shine. They give you these little stamp cards where you get a stamp every time you buy something from there until you hit 10, you get a free item and I'm guilty of using up 2 whole stamp cards! When I get the bubba pop smoothie/shake, whatever you wanna call it, I ask them to use the real strawberry galati instead of the original -shaved ice mixed with artificial cherry flavor - and omg it's literally 100% better that way, with the strawberry bubble pops, Yummm! They're so nice, I love coming here, I so recommend you try it too. read more

This little hole in the wall has such amazing ice cream! My girlfriend and I discovered the place a year ago and decided to give it a shot. We walked in and were a little put off by the old/lack of decor, but decided to order some ice cream anyway. Their ice crean is the bomb! Don't be put off by the interior and exterior, these people know their desserts! I always get the coconut almond crunch and my special lady friend always gets the Ferrero Rocher thingy. read more

Decent at most. When I walked in, the store had an odor. I got the strawberry cheesecake sundae. The cheesecake tasted like it came out the Kroger box. The ice cream wasn't creamy but not horrible. The best ice cream in Michigan. Their crepe is flavour and they always add to it unlike other crepe makers around. La gelati gives ice cream with it and when you order "kinder" crepe they actually give you kinder not cheap chocolate like others. read more

Placed an order for 2 crepes. Got to the store and was told that my order was given to another person by accident and they were making a new one. While I was waiting, the other person walked in and said he was given the wrong order. In a very slick way they repackaged the order the guy returned and gave it to me. Terrible! Never going back that it absolutely disgusting and pathetic. I knew it was the old order the other guy walked out with because the chocolate on it was hard as a rock right when I walked outside. A bunch of kids running this place and not a care for hygiene or cleanliness. After calling the manager basically said she doesn't know if she packaged the old order or a new one?! read more

We also did the berry pancakes which could feed 3-5 people alone; second of all, they're not overly sweet, which is why I did berries and not the peaches or anything like that; and, third of all, the pancakes are the size of your face, but they are fluffy and melt in your mouth! These were easily top two pancakes I've had in my life. We also tried the shrimp and grits, also a 10/10. A generous portion of shrimp, not overcooked and the sauce was bomb. They do put bacon on it if you're not a bacon eater pay attention. I tasted around it anyways but yes, we also tried a vegetarian omelette with home fries. This was just a 7/10 but probably because we only ever tasted it reheated because we were too full to touch it. It was 3 entrees and an appetizer and was definitely enough food to feed a family of seven. This is a must visit place, so if you are in the area and have never been: make time!!!! I love the quaint space, enjoyed the food and our server was great. I love in the neighborhood and wanted a new breakfast spot to walk to. The speed of service was my only let down and it's a huge let down.

Being that it was snowing, I was tired and had a million other things to do, I decided to stop in and have breakfast here on the fly. Walking in, the place is large, but the tables and chairs are sparse. Not much to see here, but they seem to be holding it together. I was seated immediately and my server was attentive and nice. She snagged me a menu and they have a good selection of food to choose from. I ventured off from my usual eggs and hash browns for once and tried their breakfast sandwich. From experience, not all breakfast sandwiches are created equal! I was skeptical from being disappointed in the past. I also ordered a side of hash browns because I wanted to see what they were like. I got the sandwich on Texas toast and let me tell you, it was fabulous! It was egg and cheese only and so good. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the hash browns were as well. They were cubed style, with some onions and spice to it. I topped it off with a dash of hot sauce and boom, there ya go folks, good stuff it is! My bill was about $8 give or take, I can't remember the exact amount. Overall, a good meal for a decent price. While the place isn't super fancy on the inside, it really made a good impression on me!

The service was nice and they were friendly. The businesses at this location are listed as food trucks; however it is more like a food hall/mall. There are several food businesses at the location where they all offer walk up service packages to go. There is seating to eat there, however it isn't comfortable since there are stools with high legs but the tables are too low for your legs to fit under. You either have to eat with your legs spread wide or sit on the edge of the seat. Management needs to change it. Hopefully we will give it another try and hopefully the food will be better.
