Trust that the medical team is doing their best to diagnose/treat, and prepare for the plan to change daily based on progress or the lack thereof. If you visit more than once, it's helpful to know that in addition to the ER parking lot and the little guest lot SE of the main entrance, there is a large family parking garage on the west side of the outpatient building that you enter from N Manassas. A stairwell on the east-side center leads to a walkway east toward the outpatient building and main hospital. Once you head in that direction, you'll get your bearings. They gave us snacks while we waited in the waiting area. My glucose went extremely low and they helped me out. Very professional staff even in the waiting areas. Once home the after care was excellent. Instructions very simple easy to read and understand. Prescriptions called in to pharmacy and pick up was simple. The building was clean and sanitized. She had another nurse take care of the iv. The Nurse actually numbed my had so the needle wouldn't hurt. I immediately calmed down, and everything went very well. They were all so friendly and nice, from the receptionist to the recovery room nurse.
