My husband and I stopped at LeCroy's last night for dinner. It's a nice little down home restaurant with excellent service. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and our waitress was very attentive. The menu offers everything from BBQ to Fish n Chips. This time around we both chose the fish. I was excited to see it wasn't catfish but they do have that as well. So let's talk portions.... WOW! Either go very hungry or order the small plate. There were like 6 very nice pieces of fish along with two sides of your choice. I elected for fries and green beans. The plate also came with 3 hush puppies. I don't usually care for those but decided to give them a try, they were SO good! All in all, we will for sure be back! Legitimately the best ribs I've ever had in my entire life. My family and I just moved to the area and after having tried them twice now we are obsessed. How this place isn't famous, I don't understand. I've only gotten takeout but the people working there were super friendly and warm both times I went. I'm so lucky this place Is less than 2 miles from my house. I almost always order at home and pick up at the drive through. Staff is very friendly and the food is consistently good. My favorite is the catfish filets and the tartar sauce is outstanding! read more

Great experience overall. Attentive and friendly wait staff. Superb hush puppies, among the best I've ever had. I've gotten way pickier about bbq since moving to Texas, so while Lecroys is not better than Texas bbq in my opinion, it does hold a candle to them. And if you've had bbq from places like Franklin's you know that is saying a lot! read more

I always enjoy eating at LeCroy's. When it comes to their menu it is impossible to make a wrong choice. I especially like their ribs and catfish filets. Great BBQ and fixin's. Best ribs I ever eaten from a BBQ restaurant. Usually, in my experience, the ribs have dried out from sitting in a warmer all day, but not at LeCroy's. They taste like they just came out of the smoker, tender fall off the bone goodness. Also, buy extra hush puppies and the mayo slaw, they are hard to stop eatin'. The ribs are pretty darn good and always very generous. I have two pet peeves which they do. 1. Styrofoam cups and plastic utensils for dining in and 2. They do not use real butter but instead serve margarine with their baked potatoes. That seems to be the standard but I still really dislike both or they would get a better score for me. Bbq ribs and catfish fillets are amazing. But it's not open every day only Thursday after 4pm, Friday 4pm Saturday and Sunday It's a treat you have to time right cause it fills up quickly with people. But the service and food is great!! So go on by and get bite. read more

Outstanding bbq smoked chicken. Classic, spectacular ribs, also burgers, catfish, bbq stew, homemade hush puppies and slaw. Prices are fantastic. Worth the drive from just about anywhere. Friends of ours who live near by said we should try LeCroys and we are glad we did. Driving from Madison took a while but it was worth it. BBC was excellent but I most surprised how delicious the catfish was. I think Top O The River has some serious competition. I didn't mind the Styrofoam cups and plastic plates but wish the silverware was real instead of plastic however that won't diminish the fact the food was excellent and so was the service. read more

The food was OK I had to wait for 45 minute for a little food. OK overall but definitely not a every night meal. Also the food made me a little nauseous after eating it. They could definitely do better,l've ate there about 3 times each time they get a little better each time I eat there. read more

Their old location did burn down several years ago, but they have re-opened in a new location, just a few miles away. The food is much the same.. may be better if that's possible. They have THE BEST battered boneless chicken I have ever eaten. The stuff melts in your mouth. It's probably their best seller. The ribs, burgers and catfish are all fabulous. They also have BBQ and smoked chicken. Everything is prepared fresh. Their salads are simple, but never wilted. They make their own dressings and sauces. Love their white & homemade tarter sauce. If you go, ask for a basket of hushpuppies, and a side of ranch dressing! Everything I've ever ordered was awesome! The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. The owner's go above and beyond. They are located in the middle of nowhere, but really worth the drive from anywhere! The new building, and dining area is small, and they do serve their food on paper plates, but the food easily makes up for it. If you go, you might even have to wait. This place fills up fast, and always seems to have a ton of customers, which is a good sign! They also have a drive-thru if you don't want to eat in. This is my favorite restaurant!! read more

We love to eat at Lecroy's! We always get the Bbq chicken because it's the moistest chicken ever and has a great smokey flavor. Their white sauce is also the best! I really like their super fresh coleslaw too. It's house made with a touch of sweetness and tartness and not too much mayo. The hush puppies are a must. You can eat in or call ahead for a pick up at their drive thru. The food is always good and the owner and staff are very accommodating. read more
