Amazing and so easy to work with! I needed a tow since my insurance company only covers 3 tows in a period of 6 months and we were going back and forth with the shop working on the hybrid battery. It's so easy to call and get a quote (Ledesmas had the best price in town hands down) and very easy to work with. The driver contacted us almost immediately after setting up the tow with the office rep. I was able to pay them through Zelle so if you don't have cash on you like most people now days don't worry they take Zelle. I know there's mixed reviews about this company but I had a pleasant experience. Service was quick and easy. Called around 0830, service showed up around 0900. Technician came out in the time frame I was quoted for and loaded my mother's vehicle on their truck bed without any hassle. I know there are a couple of mixed reviews on here, however my experience was amazing. My car engine decided to fail on me this morning and I was stuck on the 805 highway. I called and someone came out within an hour and a half. Very affordable pricing, I just needed to get down the street and other companies were trying to charge me an arm and a leg. The person that came was very nice, shook my hand and my dad's hand, then got my car onto the tow truck ramp. Great customer service. I had to use this service last month when my car decided to just crap out and have the starter die on me. So I called my local mechanic and they recommended this towing service and another driver. At least it happened in a gas station so it was a location that the driver could at least find on GPS. But the waiting was the hassle. They're based in Chula Vista so it took about a half hour to reach where I was stranded, which was admittedly better than the other tow truck driver I called (he was in Oceanside, an hour away) and even then, the driver didn't initially turn into the gas station. He went off on a side street and had to circle back around. The truck was so big that I think he had to take the long way around to where I wanted him to take me so that he could drive on streets that could fit the truck. First time I've ever had to get my car towed. Not a fun experience by any measure. read more

A friend recommended this Towing Company . One of our box trucks started having car trouble on the freeway around 2pm. We called Ledesmas spoke with Leo. He quoted over the $650.00. I asked him if the accepted credit cards. He replied via text statement that they did. I gave them the green light to come tow the box truck. Their driver didn't show up until 5:20pm over 3 hours later. The driver seemed to have trouble hooking up our vehicle, he was messing with the driveshaft. He removed a couple of bolts saying he needed to loosen the driveshaft because he didn't have the keys. However, we have made it clear to Leo that The keys were in the lockbox. The truck didn't get to our shop which was less than 19 miles away over an hour later. Once the driver got to our shop Leo called and demanding payment. He was very rude. They added a hidden fee of 4% for the credit card. When we asked if they accepted credit cards they didn't mention a extra fee. When we questioned him he said either pay fee, or $650.00 cash or we will impound your truck. They basically bullied us to pay the fee. Worst experience ever. I asked Leo if that was they way he treated all his customers he said just pay and keep it moving...When we paid over the phone as soon as the card went through and was charged he said "ok your card went through split" and hung up. I called ASHER TOWING in SAN MARCOS to jump my battery and possibly tow in San Marcos and they transfered me to this LEDESMA Towing in National City. They arrived 40 minites later than they promised. We agreed on a price of 140$ which I thought was already very expensive prior to the tow company coming out. The driver attempted to "jump" my battery. He did not actually hook up the cables properly. He then put my car on the tow truck after telling me the problem wasn't my battery. While my car was being towed a couple miles to the car shop, the driver said the price jumped 45$ to $18"because I needed a tow". This was after agreeing to the price which included towing. My car was on the truck driving down to the car shop while telling me the price jumped. After my car was at the car shop, they jumped the battery in seconds. Never calling them again. I was charged $81. They only accept cash and took 30 minutes to run a debit card with another $3 charge. The driver and person on the phone said I wasn't there at the exact moment he arrived so he left. They couldn't tow the vehicle without my keys so I left work. Even after mentioning this to the company, it will take me 20 minutes and even after notifying that I was on my way on the initial call I was charged extra. When in fact, they probably left to do another job and charged me for calling them after they knew I would take 20 min to arrive. Repercussions were I got in trouble at work, payed extra without being notified prior to towing, paying extra for not having cash. If you are not next to your vehicle I wouldn't call, get a price check first and also have cash. Hassle and Time consuming . I was searching for a modest towing company (fair price/good service) here in Chula Vista and came across 2 other companies who were also rated 5 stars. Tried calling them 2x and did not get an answer (it was around 11:30sh - Lunchtime?), so I tried calling this company and a Lady answered and helped me out in the process. Asked her how much it would cost and to my surprise it was way lower than what I was quoted online from my Insurance Co. Put a go signal on this one and was told of waiting time of 30-45 mins. I even got a courtesy call before the scheduled time that the driver will be arriving in 5 to 10 mins. I met the driver (Leo) who courteously introduced himself and moved my car into position. A male driving truck CA 0519564 license plate 11410M1 was delivering a vehicle to my neighborhood. I was actually trying to park my vehicle in my garage. I backed out of the parking lot pace and was driving towards my driveway area and he started to pull closer and closer as if he did not see me. I stopped honked my horn and he kept pulling closer to me. I got out of my vehicle and yelled at him but he did nothing but waive his hand to go like move. I kept my car where it was and did not move it because he does not own the road to be rude to people living in the community. Eventually he hopped over the curb to get around me with approx. 1ft in between my car and the side of his truck. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE RUDE. I called the number on the side of the truck and asked is this a general number the guy on the other end said "why what's wrong with one of my drivers" as if it was the guy driving whom answered shared my thoughts on the situation and they did not care. UNPROFESSIONAL - SCAM ARTESTS - AVOID AT ANY AND ALL COSTS I have never written a negative Comment on any business in my life, but this place deserves to be out of business. You owe it to your fellow patrons, and to other towing businesses that are trying to make an honest buck and treat people with respect to NOT support Ledesma towing. As for the bitter details... I called a few places and found the price of a tow for my Ford F350 to be around $70- $80. (10 miles from my house to the repair shop.) They offered to do it for $70. I told them great, come get the truck. The guy showed up on time, had a very easy time hooking up my truck and then just took off without letting me know he was going or without me signing anything. I thought this was odd, but oh well. A ten mile tow took him like an hour and a half. By this time I was on an appointment. I then get a call from MY repair shop telling me that this guy is asking my repair shop to pay him. UNPROFESSIONAL. If he had told me he was ready to leave with my truck, I would have had him write me an invoice and pay cash. Instead, he is burdening my repair shop with paying the towing bill. Fortunately, they know me and were okay to pay him and put the money on my repair bill however, the owner knew that the price the guy was asking was out of line. He wanted $110.00. That's about 37% above what I had agreed to, and way out of line for this tow as well. He called me and I told him not to pay him anything more than $70. I then contacted Ledesma and the same guy I spoke to earlier started to give me a hard time. He tried every excuse, and every threat to try and get me to go with the $110 bill. I was shocked and angered that this guy had all of this at the ready. It immediately occurred to me that he must be very accustomed and comfortable doing this all the time to be THIS at-ease with it. He brought up things like weight, whether or not my truck was a dually,( which it wasn't and he knew it), had to talk to the manager etc. I aggressively told him that we negotiated a price of $70 for the tow. He knew exactly what kind of truck it was, and the exact pickup and delivery location. Undeterred, he then started with THREATS. Stating things in the CA law that allow towing companies to impound my vehicle and keep it until all towing and storage fees are paid. Unbelievable! Again, I am certain that he must do this to everyone based on the ease and quickness that he was able to come up with this stuff. I had to call Chula Vista PD and give an accounting. I'm not sure whether or not Chula Vista Police forced him to release my vehicle, or whether he just realized that he had nothing to go on, but it took all that for him to release my truck for the negotiated price of $70. I expect them to try to refute this as they will undoubtably lose all of there business and advertising dollars from this site. To prove my case, just call a couple companies and check the price of a 10 mile tow for an F350 - Non Dually. read more

I honestly would not call these guys unless you really need them. 2 stars for their pricing. But 0 stars for their business.i had to haul a motorcycle from lakeside to main street chula vista right in front of their yard. I called way before to get a quote and we were not looking at more than $100. I finally called them when i needed them at 7:45pm, they said they were on their way a bunch of times. After waiting 3 hours, we decided to drive the motorcycle home. As soon as we were taking off, they got there. Already almost 11pm. What the heck! I didnt argue because we were so exhausted and just wanted to get home. This guy didnt even know how to hook up the bike and me and my friend had to help him. He tells me to expect a good $120- $140 and when I asked why, he said because its overtime. I called at almost 730 and took them 3 hours for a 30 min drive. I ended up paying 135 because thats what his boss said. I just think they ripped me off so they could pay the driver extra with extra money. I will call their boss tomorrow and get pricing all day long. Make sure you get an exact price or really close to it and make sure they wont overcharge. I will write an update as soon as I speak to his boss about this situation.hey $35 is $35 dollars. On 08-15-17, at about 08:00 P.M., I was leaving Costco on H St. in Chula Vista going eastbound to the intersection of Tierra Del Rey. Traffic was heavy at the intersection. When I got a green light, I was making a right turn into Tierra Del Rey going southbound. I had to slow down while making the turn because of the traffic jam. I noticed a small dark color sedan on the other side turning signal to make a left turn but it had to stop because my side had the priority. At that moment, I saw a yellow towing truck coming from behind that sedan and the driver started to honk that sedan repeatedly. The sedan driver could not make the turn because of the traffic, so the towing truck driver veered to the left of that car into the opposite side of road and made a left turn. The truck driver almost hit me broadside because I was slowing down while make the right turn. I was not able to move forward because of the traffic in front, so he honked me repeatedly. When the traffic southbound got the green light, I moved forward and I saw the truck moved to the right lane going southbound toward H Street. I could read the logo as, Ledesma's Towing and the phone number on the truck is (619) 474-2951. I came home and called the above number to file an informal complaint verbally. A male answered the phone and I asked him if I could file a complaint against a company driver. I began to tell him what was happening and I tried to emphasize the truck driver's movement was very dangerous posing a huge liability to his company. The male just hung up on me without saying a word. First of all, the truck driver movement is dangerous by passing the other car into the left side of the road and he could cause head on collision. He was very rude when he kept honking on people with a very loud horn while moving in a very small intersection. The truck driver showed his careless and irresponsibility to the public safety. Who ever answered the phone showed a terrible customer service of this company. How come he did not want to take a constructive complaint which was good for his company.
