In doing so I talk louder but NEVER EVER disrespectful!!!! to be told I was disrespectful AFTER being sat in the chair was beyond unprofessional,,!! I was raised to be polite and respectful!!!! I was also told that being understanding and respectful works both way. I really like my Dentist, he is very gentle and professional. My review was toward the lady at the desk NOT my dentist!!!! When calling the office on 25 Jul 2024, during business hours, M-Thursday 8-4, select #4 for veterans, the attached file is the result. For transparency, I spoke with Alex who is the Veteran Coordinator for Ledger Dentistry. I discussed the message with her. Alex informed me that she stands by the message, the office manager is the voice on the message and the dentist agrees with the message. I shared that calling the advocate is not appropriate instruction. I provided the correct action. I stated that I found the message unprofessional and 'barrish". I believe I may have stated it was aggressive, as well. Alex told me she was offended, i was committing slander and my records would be returned to the VA. I asked to speak to the dentist, I was advised, "he doesn't have time". I drove to the office to request an appointment with the dentist, the receptionist who was very pleasant took a message and assured me the dentist would get it. Receptionist was very kind, polite, and helpful. Please note, until this incident, I have had to no complaint. At About 1630 the dentist called me on speaker phone. I was advised by Ledger that : we (veteran) are not special people (never said or assumed we were) He is doing us (veterans) a favor I (veteran) am needy He is not of this world ...not sure what this means? I heard from next door app that this dentist was good. I made an appointment & after filling out lengthy paperwork online. My appointment was 2 months out and they called the day before my appointment-So I called them back and I was told that my appointment with Doctor Leger was canceled because I did not confirm the time and date but that I could see another Doctor-they said. I had an appointment with Dr. Leger . Who I wanted to see so I didn't take that appointment. A month later I called to set up an appointment with Doctor Leger and was told that they couldn't set me up with an appointment because I was a no show! I've heard good things about Ledger Dentistry but I wouldn't know. It took over six months to get an appointment and I had to fill out extensive paperwork prior to the appointment. Included in that paperwork were many admonitions about canceling no later than one business day before an appointment and payment if that criteria wasn't met. However, Ledger had no problem canceling my first appointment less than an hour before I was due to come in. I'm sorry the hygienist wasn't feeling well but I feel they should have rescheduled me in a timely manner. Instead, they wanted to schedule me 8 months later. I feel Ledger did not make my dental health and my time a priority. As my husband reminded me, if they treat you this badly before you are a patient, how will they treat you later? read more

Finally found a dentist who is a pro. All my life I had been going to hacks, who really screwed up my teeth. The front staff and the dental assistants are great and friendly. The text reminders on my phone are appreciated and my appointments are prompt...the way it should be! Too many (almost all...overbook and dont care about your time because it is $$$ to them. So greedy and disrespectful, it is rampant in the medical field. Not here. This office has it right. I'm confident the work is being done right, unlike what I am used to. Go there! I actually have insurance, but it's an HMO and Doctor Ledger isn't in their network and I actually choose to pay out of pocket to go there. I'm not rich (hence the HMO), but to me it's worth it. Feeling comfortable with your dentist is priceless. The office is clean and the staff is friendly. They do their best to relax you and I particularly enjoy the beach themed decor. I find it to be calming. I always feel like I'm in good hands when I'm at Ledger Dentistry. They do a great job with cleanings and exams. They also put cream on your hands and put warm gloves over them so you feel like you're getting a little spa treatment while you're getting your teeth cleaned. It's a nice little distraction and your hands feel wonderful afterwards. It's a courtesy that I appreciate and of course they ask. They don't just slather you up with lotion against your will. I didn't see Dr. Ledger last time, I saw Dr. Baker. I was surprised to see an unfamiliar face, but he was very nice, compassionate, and informative. He really took his time explaining things. He is an amazing talented dentist. He does great work and was able to quickly solve an implant problem from 20 years ago that other dentists had said was unfixable. He offers affordable solutions and lets you know what things need to be done asap and what things can wait. He has done extensive work over the years on both my husband and myself, including implants, bridgework, crowns and having teeth pulled. I am a chicken in the chair but amazingly every procedure has been a pain free event. He creatively does blocks without causing any discomfort. He has made himself available by phone even on the weekend to check in if there is a problem after a major procedure. When something is expensive to repair, he has found a less expensive solution for us several times. If he finds something outside his skill set, he refers you and follows up on what was done. Overall he is very personable and very skilled at what he doses. He is respectful to his staff and co-workers and the whole place emulates "team." His office staff is amazing. They are efficient and always pleasant and helpful. I have seen three hygienists over the years and they are skilled and the cleanings have always been comfortable. Dr Ledger is always makes available at your cleaning visits if they hygienist sees something needs to be checked. Collectively the entire office works as a team. I have seen very little turnover with employees over the many years I have been a patient. I highly recommend Dr Ledger and his team!!! read more

I would alway recommend dr ledgers office to everyone. When I was younger I had mrs dee dee for yyears( loved her) ... I have moved away for 9 years and now that I am back of course I wanted to return. I went one time since I have been back, and made a follow up appointment for my next cleaning. I actually missed that appointment due to another appointment that I had that went over. I am off on Monday so I try to make all my appointments then. As soon as I was away from that appointment I called Dr. ledger's office To tell them what happened and to reschedule and they hung up the phone on me. Then when I called back they were very nasty and said I could not return. I said how could that be I've only missed one appointment. They said I missed one from the last NINE years ago and this past one so that was 2 strikes so I'm not allowed to return. Not that I want to anyway after they spoke to me... so today I get a letter in the mail telling me I can't return yet again from missing Numerous appointments????appointments?? I have missed one!!!! I cannot believe how rude this office was. I've been going way before it was dr ledgers office I went to dr manzoli.(it was his office before) I don't usually write reviews for places but I am so disappointed that they are like this. truly sad. read more

Went here for cleaning last June. Waited outside for check in, went in, temp check no questions asked. Was in chair during cleaning another employee walked in no mask. Hygienist barely cleaned my teeth, picked at 2 teeth only, said they looked great. I paid at front desk and left. Got a letter kicking me out saying I was rude. Have no idea what they were talking about. The front desk girl was rude to me not the other way around. I do not recommend this practice. read more

I went for my 6 month teeth cleaning today at Ledger Dentistry. Polite person that I am I wanted to give them a heads up that I would not be able to afford the X-rays this time. I was told to "come back when I could afford it"! I told her that I still wanted the cleaning and was told NO. If I couldn't have the X-rays then they wouldn't clean my teeth! I have been to multiple dentists in Citrus County In the 17 years I have lived here. Dr. Jeremy Ledger has the best practice for dentistry that I have ever seen. It is well organized, immaculate and a pleasure to visit. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. He has a top-notch system in place to keep all safe from COVID. The hygienists are skilled and top notch. Where else can you get a hand care treatment when you are getting your teeth cleaned??? If you have an emergency, Dr Ledger is always available which I find amazing. We had a family member with a complex dental issue that other several other dentists were unwilling to address. Dr. Ledger is creative and highly skilled and was able to fix this issue quickly with a perfect outcome. It took us years to find someone willing to take on the problem and we are so pleased with the outcome ! Of most importance, he is gentle and skilled with anesthesia and I never have felt any pain having had multiple procedures in his office. There is no strong push to get things done. You are provided with your treatment plan each visit which lists all the recommended things you need to do and the prices. Dr. Ledger is upfront and he always lets you know which things you should do as soon as possible and which things can wait. He spends more time explaining than any dentist I've ever met. and he always has with a smile on his face! He works to help you help find less expensive solutions if needed. You really have to like your Dentist and he is one of those guys that is hard not to like. The girls in the office can get a little bit snippy with you but are pretty nice for the most part. This was my best experience ever at a dentist. I have always hated going to dentist offices because I had a really bad experience when I was very young with one. And as soon as I go in the dentist I usually smell it and I get anxiety. But here I never smelled that dentist office smell. And Jenn was sooo very nice working with me and my very weak gag reflex, she was so patient with me. The sign says " We cater to cowards " and I told her that was good because I am a coward. I was a patient of Dr. Ledgers and had work done 5 years ago. When I called today to schedule an appointment, the woman that anwsered was extremly pleasent until they read a message on my file not to see me. I asked why, and she stated she wasn't sure, it could because I miss an appt, but either way, they will not see me, then said sorry, have a great day, and hung the phone up. They did not give me a chance to speak to anyone to explain the situation. At that time, I was 12-13 weeks pregnant with triplets and just lost the preganacy. I had to carry the deceased babies around for 2 months because I had upper respistory infection and the Dr. couldnt' perform a DNC. So with my last visit, the Dr. came in, gave me a shot of novacaine and stated he would be right back. Because of my mental state being off due to the tramua I had been going through, I had a severe panic attack and told the nurse I had to leave. I had told my nurse about my situation and they where well aware of why I did what i did. I don't remember missing an appt, and if I did it was probably because I had so much going on. Regardless, I was refused service today, and treated like a criminal because of an issue that was completely out of my control. This is no way to treat patients, life does happen, and can cause a person to miss an appt, or leave in between one. I feel like I should have been able to speak with someone today to explain the situation, however, that was not the case. read more
