Used to love Ledo, but incredibly disappointed with my recent order and how it was handled. One of the items delivered was wrong (I ordered some wings and got someone else's garlic bread). Called the store, and the person I spoke with (they did not provide their name) said they'd call the driver and then just hung up on me. Did not get a call back. Called again about 20 minutes later and the same person told me the wings were being cooked and would be on the way soon. The Ledo person's tone was curt and dismissive. The wings arrived cold because they arrived about an hour after my second call to the store and over two hours from when I submitted my order online. Also, I don't know if there was a recipe or ingredient change, but the pizza was a bit bland and not as good as expected. I also submitted comments on Ledo's contact us website. read more

I have been enjoying the square deliciousness of Ledo Pizza since the mid 1970's, back when I would frequent the Original location on University Blvd. near the University of Maryland. I would meet friends for square pies and pitchers of beer, back when 18 year olds could drink beer, legally in the State of Maryland. Fast forward to now and I still have fond memories of Ledo Pizza, thankfully this location is a short drive from home. I have never had an issue with customer service, when I call the phone is answered quickly and my pie is ready when promised, no matter how busy they are. I wish i could give zero stars. I called with an order and wanted to change it. So within 2 minutes called back. I was greeted by a rude person named Horatio, who said you shoudl not have changed the order man. I told him wait, im the customer and canclled the order, not knowing what they would do with my food. Ledos is constantly underrated and honestly I would rate them higher if their customer service wasn't rude. I've called in here before when they state online they are still open yet they tell me they "aren't" delivering at 10 pm. He seems flustered, probably because the main door to the apartment was locked. My bad on not giving him the code (though the door is almost always open). Online delivery is easy-peasy and ensures that you do not have to talk to a human being. You can even add your tip online so you don't even have to talk to your delivery person for an extended time. Yes, I'm a recluse. My husband did not like the pizza but I actually enjoyed it. The pepperoni slices were cut extra thick and the mushrooms were the marinated kind. The crust was light and crispy so you can eat slices and slices without getting (too) sick. It did not taste like they poured cups and cups of butter on top, which is what a lot of pizza joints do to ramp up their flavor. Chicken wings is where they shine. I think its the best bargain pizza in town . I feel like the pizza is homemade from the sauce to the crust and all the way to the toppings. More importantly, I like them because of the way they cut their slices ...makes me feel less guilty about consuming all these carbs. I heard they were recently voted #1 for their wings and they don't disappoint. I've tried wings at the other famous pizza places in the area that start with "P" and "D" and they are small. So kudos to them for giving us some hearty wings. However, the salt and vinegar wings were missing just that - the salt and the vinegar. So, next time try and add the core ingredients. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we received A+ service from one of the managers, Thomas. Thomas greeted us with a warm, upbeat attitude to kick off a pleasant, relaxed and fun dining experience. After receiving our beverage order, he quickly and correctly took our order with a smile. Our food was prepared pretty fast. We ordered a calzone, cheesy bread and salad which were delicious. Thomas periodically checked on us and refreshed our drinks while joking with us -- keeping a smile on our faces. He even informed us that the menu will be changing in the near future and that they are the only Ledo that delivers. He's cares about the company and the customer experience. Just to caveat, I love Ledos in general and have even had great good from this location. However, the service at this particular location is god awful. You can see my reviews of many other places and also Ledos locations so it's not a random observation. They often don't have a driver for delivery (who would want that for pizza?!?!?) if it's past a certain hour and very inconsistent with that as well. However, they are very consistently unfriendly on the phone and in person, so there's that! Overall, just very disappointed in this particular location. They hang up on me on the phone, inconsistent results of service and food even, and generally just mediocre all around. Try one of the many other options around, or pickup from a different ledos on your way home. read more
