Colony Grill does it simply and does it the best. Pizza, salad pizza, full bar and TVs. Service is fast, their thin crust Connecticut style pizza is stand out and corkage is reasonable at $15 if you bring your own bottle.

Colony grill is my go-to pizza places in the NOVA area. I normally get it to-go every time and it holds up the same as dine in. I love the hot oil with pepperoni pizza. I am normally not a fan of thin crust pizza, but something about it here is so good. Inside is a fun sports bar vibe with a full bar. The menu is limited to pizza, but it's so good that I don't mind.

Solid spot for pizza and a beer. They're known for their hot oil, so I tried it with pepperoni and thought it was good! It's a very interesting thin crust style - hadn't had anything like it before but it hit the spot. There's a variety of seating, including an upstairs section which I had never noticed as a pedestrian walking by. The menu is pretty straight forward... it's just pizza. I appreciated that they had a variety of sports on to watch (gymnastics, hockey, and some weird game show where people climb up what appears to be a slippery bounce house lol). Would return again!

Pizza is great. I'm a big fan of thin crust pizza and Colony grill has very thin crust pizza. Each pizza is large but I recommend getting 1 per person. The service is very quick and friendly and the manage came and visited and was very friendly as well! Nice place for pizza and beer with lots of TVs in the bar area. Something to note is it's only pizza and salad served there, but if you're going for a pizza and beer kind of night. This is a good spot to go!

15 Mar 25 Update: Colony Grill was a perfect stop to celebrate St. Patty's Day weekend when other local Irish pubs were packed. We ordered a couple Smithwicks and Guinness along with their corned beef and cabbage pizza special and another pizza with sausage, onions, mushrooms, peppers, cherry hot peppers and hot oil. Everything was great. Thanks!

Love this pizza!!! Service and environment are great too. Sports are always on and the servers are attentive!

We saw the shamrock on the sign so thought this might have some Irish dishes like bangers and mash or shepherds pie, but alas no. This was a quick stop to grab dinner while we were in the area before heading home late so this will be a quick review. The only food they serve is pizza. If you're serving only one item, then it better be good. Luckily, it was. I rather like thin crust pizza and I did like this with meatballs, mushrooms, and onions. I like the crispiness of the crust. It made holding it easy to eat. Service was also good. Street parking or a nearby garage.

This pizza was AWESOME! it was great thin crust pizza. We got three pizzas for four of us (two teenagers). Our waiter was very friendly and answered all our questions (What is a stinger? What is hot oil. How big are your pizzas?) The alcohol selection is fantastic. If you are visiting the area or live in the area, you need to stop by and get a pizza. There is street parking or a garage you can park in.

Stopped in here for a quick lunch and a beer and was not disappointed. I got the pepperoni pizza with black olives and mushrooms, and found it was the perfect size for two to share. No leftovers here. Love the thin crust. Was perfect. Service was quick and friendly. What more could you ask, haha. Would certainly stop in again but would love if they added some apps . Can a girl get some chicken wings or mozz sticks haha. Ambiance is your typical clean bar setting. Did have a family friendly vibe as well and great cost point for a pizza. Pizza and beer in the DMV for 25 bucks. Yes please!

Colony Grill is a great place to go for a relaxed and easy environment. The service and ambiance here were great as it was quick seating and quick service as well. The food came out quickly and was hot, fresh, and tasty. The crust is rather thin but very tasty nonetheless. Keep in mind the only thing on the menu is pizza with about 10 different topping options so if you're not in the mood for pizza you may want to avoid. Personally, pizza is never my first choice, but Colony Grill really provides a great value for the quality of their pizza. I would definitely love to come back here to watch some sports or hang out with friends.

If you're in the area and looking for some good ole pizza, in a clean family friendly sports bar environment, with great staff and comfortable space, look no further. Our server apologized to us for overlooking our table, and the hostess apologized for the oversight and wait time despite them not being busy- those apologies and at the follow up attentiveness goes sooo far for us!! We did the gluten free dairy free option- and it was decent. I WOULD say- if they asked lost dog cafe where they get their gf crust from, and added their toppings then they'd have a hit on their hands !! Their blanco tequila option was solid and reasonably priced. I would be curios to take a bite of their regular pie and see what it's all about. It is ALL they do- so an interesting concept for sure !

First time trying this restaurant and Connecticut-style pizza. No idea how it compares to the classic Connecticut pizza, but for someone who grew up on NJ and NY pizza THE PIZZA HERE IS EASILY THE WORST I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Truly mind-boggling that someone can enjoy a thin layer of tortilla-like cardboard topped with a microscopically thin layer of sauce, tiny bit of cheese and an enormous spilling of oil!!! It is a flavorless cardboard with a ton of oil on top. Had the stinger pizza today and the peppers are indeed spicy, but there was zero flavor in anything, including the peppers they were only spicy not flavorful. The only reason I'm giving it a second star is because we really had fantastic service - the servers were wonderful, and the seating was comfortable, the restaurant is cleanI. If this is your thing - go for it!

Colony Grill is such a fun place to hangout. The servers are all extremely nice and they have a bunch of big TVs to watch the game. The Guinness is always cold and the pizza is always hot. Their pizza is actually insanely good- super thin crispy crust that never flops. They have many toppings and variations. We love the margarita and the hot oil with sausage. Highly recommend checking them out.

I must say Tupelo Honey Is such a beautifully crafted place that pulls you out of the everyday hustle and bustle and places you within the southern comfort and warmth that oozes through the ambiance with smiles when they great you. It's natural unforced southern hospitality from A-Z. Also of note If you're able to please ask for the (Chef's Table) and thank me later! Now to the food I started off with the famous fried green tomatoes as an appetizer then I ordered a fresh squeezed pineapple juice that was just delicious after that the amazing shrimp and grits that's so delightful and the creole sauce is blended to perfection. Here's a little food hack for ya, add pieces of your fried green tomatoes into your shrimp and grits I promise you won't regret it!! for dessert you absolutely have to try the strawberry butter pecan cheesecake!! The layout has a very nice homey and country vibe that seems pretty that seems very comforting. The service definitely matched the vibe because both times we had a very friendly and engaging server. I love a good chicken and waffles so I was eager to try them out. I got to try the regular classic, peach ,and sample the Mac and cheese waffle. They were decent and I enjoyed what I had but it didn't move me to chorus. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. The biscuits for a cause were incredible. Hands down my favorite. Warm, fluffy, and paired perfectly with the jam and butter. The roasted half bird dish was a item on the special menu. They had a special on mimosas and had a few different dishes that weren't on the regular menu. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well. The green beans were nice and savory. Though the Mac and cheese left a bit to be desired. They complemented the dish but the green beans were definitely the standout. All in all, I'm not disappointed that I went but I can't say that I would return on my own accord. It's a very popular restaurant but I found the food to be a bit mid unfortunately.

When we made the reservation in advance, we called to ask if happy hour was everywhere or just at the bar; they said everywhere, so we booked a table. Plot twist, it's only at the bar / downstairs :))) We arrived 15 minutes early, so while they got our table ready, we ordered at the bar. 5 stars for the bartender. If I could review her, the host, and the happy hour prices in isolation, I would! They moved us upstairs, we sat down, and immediately saw the menus were different. We asked the gentleman bringing waters about happy hour and he sent the waiter over. The waiter, with about 2% helpfulness, shared that happy hour is only downstairs. I mentioned that we had called in advance to ask. We asked if it would be possible to have that menu or perhaps move. The conversation felt like pulling teeth. He said, with much dismissiveness, it was up to the host downstairs to move and if they had availability and left. (Fair, we move, he doesn't get his tip. An alternative? Give us the happy hour menu, still get your tip. Better yet, just be slightly helpful?) The host downstairs found us a table but shared it was booked at 6:15 so we needed to be in and out. It was no problem because we had arrived before 5 (early, remember?). Although, it took 15 minutes (I timed it!) for anyone to come bring waters or address us as their table. A little hard to operate with urgency when no one takes your order!! I got up, told the host stand, and they sent a server over, and he proceeded to come back all of three times. We also had to flag him down to get our check, while we sat with empty waters that were never once refilled. We had pizza, cod sliders, and half orders of aglio e olio pasta. The cod sliders were more breadding than fish, but the flavor was decent. The pasta was delicious. No five star Italian meal, but it hit the spot and the portion was plentiful. I didn't try the pizza but it was 12 inches, piping hot, and the two eating it couldn't finish it. The food came out quickly and hot. I think we spent under or just about $100 for four folks to have dinner + drinks, so the prices are really solid. Perhaps you get what you pay for though? Both of our male servers seemed annoyed to be dealing with us and mostly unhelpful. Noteworthy mention: there was a female server who was kind enough to bring us a brown paper bag for our to go box. She was running around and her tables seemed well cared for. Disappointed in my experience and the customer service.

That thoughtfulness is one of the many reasons I was excited to try it. When we arrived, I was initially concerned after learning that the "G" on the menu indicated dishes **containing** gluten rather than being gluten-free. Since many menu items were marked with a "G," I worried my options would be very limited, especially for the unlimited brunch experience. Thankfully, our server, Emma, immediately put me at ease. She brought me the food allergy menu, answered my questions with patience, and made sure I understood what was safe for me to enjoy. While my husband and I were deciding whether to stay, the manager, Antonio, came to our table after Emma shared my dietary concerns. His kindness completely changed the experience. He took the time to explain my options, offered to have the kitchen modify several dishes, and reassured me that their goal was for me to feel safe and enjoy my meal. Thanks to Emma and Antonio, what started with uncertainty became one of the most enjoyable brunch experiences I've had. I was able to enjoy a variety of delicious dishes, the mimosas were a great value, and the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, with floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the space with natural light. What I'll remember most, though, is how genuinely cared for I felt. Before we left, Antonio stopped by one last time to make sure I was happy with my meal and that all of my needs had been met.
