Cheese and pepperoni pizza

Great pizza , and good service. The staff is very nice and the ambiance is chill and pleasant

I ordered a pizza, a Caesar salad, and ravioli. I picked up my order, got home to realize there was no salad dressing with my Caesar salad. I called and they said I could come back to get it. I was no longer available, so they said it was fine to come later and that they would leave a note for the next shift. I came back 4 hours later to get the dressing. There was some confusion, but I did get the dressing and a call back later that I could get a free side salad with my next order. I'm happy the situation was rectified with professionalism.

Doesn't say that it must be used online.

I ordered and checked in as us Yelpers sometimes do. A complimentary fountain drink popped up. The older gentleman behind the counter (appeared to be the owner or manager,POC with glasses) refused to honor the reward. He told me that I had to use it online. What's the purpose of checking in at the business and getting a reward if you can't use it when you're there. (I didn't know there was a reward prior to checking in..I just wanted to check in.) The pizza was good and the staff was polite and professional otherwise.

I work around the area and I always grab a quick salad for lunch. I was so tired of Wendy's and their wilted salad. Just recently my colleague recommended Ledos for their salad and I cannot believe I did not know about it sooner! I ordered the salad with buffalo chicken and honey mustard sauce and it was good and totally worth it! Now I know where to go when I want a quick, healthy, fresh and delicious salad!

Update as of January 2022 Accepts both cash and credit card. Tons of free parking in front of the establishment. If you come here, definitely try their pizzas. We have ordered from them a few times now and their pizza quality does not disappoint. We normally order their Roma tomatoes. Bacon, chicken and sausage. All very good options. If you are a vegetarian, they also have tons of veggie options. We also tried their Philly cheesesteak. As much as I want to say good things about it, it was very average to me. The meat portion was light, but the cheese was very non-existent. You would expect the cheese portion to show, but you barely notice it. Not sure if I will try it again. If you come here, try their pizzas.

Large Pizza - Half Pepperoni/Sausage & Ledos Deluxe!....all that bacon tho'!!

Hand's Down one of the best pizza chains in the DMV!! Ledo's Pizza is simply....."Man comfort food and carnivore's haven"....at its best! This "cheap-and-addictive", "tried-and-true" local pizza chain...puts a whole new spin on the traditional circular standard of pizza you normally find in the area. From the plethora of toppings piled high on top of the mouth-watering tangy-sweet sauce, oozing with a blend of mozzarella/provolone cheese......to the flaky, buttery French pastry dough-like crusts that's like munching on a soft cronut with crispy edges....its insatiable and will have you coming back for more! The menu is quite large, featuring appetizers, soups, salads, sub sandwiches, and Italian entrees like Chicken Parmesan, Calzones, Stromboli, and Fettucini Filomena...to name a few. My "go-to" and favorite, during my recent visit and every visit....is the Ledo Deluxe Pizza! This pizza is a mammoth and a medium size weighs about as much as a 5 lb dumbbell! No kidding, seriously!! This bad boy is piled high with everything, but the kitchen sink of toppings. It's loaded with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, hamburger, and your choice of regular or pre-cooked bacon. It's truly a carnivore's dream!...Not to mention, it's gluten-free and semi-paleo friendly for those needing to know. Get the pre-coooked bacon by the way. It taste-finishes the pizza better...otherwise the regular uncooked bacon make the pizza too oily. This pizza is the perfect fix to satisfying anyone's hunger! To change things up sometimes, I order a custom pizza of just Chicken, Bacon, Spinach & Mushrooms. This one will have you having, a moment with Jesus! There's something about the combination of the chicken and bacon....against their zesty, tangy sauce. And, the buttery, flaky crust is just something that completes the experience! The spinach and mushrooms are just there to make me feel less guilty. In all, if you can't tell by now...I am truly a fan of the Ledo's. You can't go wrong with this place. This location in particular, has dine-in seating and offers carry out as well. The service at this location is always on point and the food is prepared fast. Of course, there are many pizzerias and home delivery options around the city for pizza....but they don't compare to Ledo's Pizza...imho! Try for yourself. I guarantee not a a single square will be left from your order!!

Large sausage bacon and pepperoni. Nice and greasy just how I like it.

Tuesday 12/10/2024 I…read moreoriginally visited this spot back in 2021 for a sit down visit with the family. I remember getting the chicken fettuccine Alfredo but I couldn't remember too much of what I thought of the spot while my fam thought it was pretty good. It's been a minute so I've finally decided to come back to review this spot. I ordered online through DoorDash for pick up and once I got there the door was locked for some reason but luckily after I called them they unlocked the door. The inside looked a bit different from the first time I was there (last time looked more spacious) but it still looked decent. For my order I got the pappardelle bolognese $22, fettuccine Alfredo $20, and classic chicken parmigiano $21. - the pappardelle bolognese was my favorite of the 3. It had a creamy tomato flavor sauce that was paired nicely with beef to make a very good tasting dish. - The fettuccine Alfredo was okay but it's not something that I would get again. - The classic chicken parmigiano was solid but nothing crazy. I did like the chicken portion but the spaghetti pasta had to be the smallest I've ever had. - the Complimentary fresh bread and oil came with the meal and it was okay. All in all, this is a solid spot for pasta and my main recommendation would be the pappardelle bolognese which was done very well.

Having traveled and dined across the globe, I did not expect homemade pasta, fresh espresso, and Neapolitan style pizza to be in Rockville MD. If you live within an hour drive, just take the trip and have lunch or dinner here. Try the espresso martini! I shared a cheese pizza with my daughter, my mother had the chicken piccata, my cousin the gnocchi, my father the chicken parm, my cousin had a caprese salad and the further seats I couldn't see. We all shared a few orders of the calamari. EVERYONE raved about how delicious their food was. I agree. Probably the best piccata I've tasted. The pizza was excellent. The tiramisu great. The pistachio gelato was perfect. I sure wish they were closer to Florida!! So good.

The biggest hit for me was the suppli appetizer. These are absolutely delicious and vegetarian friendly! Similar to arancini but somehow even more delicious. These are a must-order. I had the pasta alla vongole and a bite of my husband's chicken parmigiana. Our friend had mushroom ravioli that she loved, but I didn't try as I don't care for mushrooms. I've been on a clams and garlic kick lately for some reason and the vongole comes with these and bonus bacon. I would have preferred the bacon a tad crispier, but that is personal preference. I'd give this dish 4* - I would get it again but after trying some others. From the one bite the chicken parmigiana was a 5*. Their marinara is very good and the linguine in both our dishes tastes freshly made. We all split the chocolate temptation dessert and I ate more of it than I expected to, it is chocolate mousse adjacent cake with ganache frosting, very light, perfectly sweet. Often I find chocolate desserts too much after a big meal but this one wasn't heavy at all. 5* My friend ordered sangria which she thought was more like a wine cooler; too sweet for her French oenophile sensibilities and a bit lighter than a sangria usually is, but I am a pleb who loves sweet drinks and I would order it. If you are a sangria purist you might not care for it. Hubs enjoyed his old fashioned but said it needed a dash more bitters to be perfect. I was driving so enjoyed a non-dirty Shirley. Prices to me are reasonable for quality and portion size; our tab ended up high because of the appetizer, drinks and dessert but if you just had pizza or pasta with soda it would be pretty affordable. I will be back to get more suppli and try other dishes!

The walls were an homage of old photos with an eclectic and whimsical feel. Service was excellent. A variety of staff kept checking to see if everything was satisfactory. It was. Our salad was the tomato panzenella special. The ingredients were fresh and the vinaigrette was just right. A complimentary bread basket with olive oil and balsamic vinegar options was available. The glass oil dispenser was coated in oil making it messy to grasp. The bread was not fresh and not exciting. I had the eggplant rollatini. It had a generous flavorful red sauce and the herb ricotta filling added a nice contrast. My only complaint would be how thin the eggplant slices were. More eggplant please. My wife loved her linguini and clams. I couldn't taste it because I have a clam allergy, but she loved it. Someone also got rigatoni and enjoyed it. The generous portions left us too full for dessert. This solid Italian restaurant has good food at a good price and needs to be on your list next time you feel like Italian.

The Wild Mushrooms with artichoke were just awesome and oh-so-plentiful, I do believe this one dish could've been a meal all in itself -- but not knowing that, I also got the Grilled Romaine because I'd never had such a thing before, and was interested in trying it. It was great! The Bowl Soup was delicious and comforting as soup is desired to be. Note on the soup: it doesn't have any pasta it in (or at least mine didn't), so if you're watching carbs or avoiding wheat, this is an excellent choice! It all came with some bread, too (that I ended up making a sandwich out of with some of the grilled romaine dish later). This was way more than one meal for me! All of it was delicious! ** Today, I fi-na-ly made it to Fontina Grille in person! It was a beautiful day to eat outside as long as there was some shade -- and so, the awning was put out just for us to lunch outdoors. There is a great selection on this menu and at lunch you can order either lunch or dinner portions. The lunch portions were certainly plentiful! The service was great, and everything was absolutely delicious! I especially enjoyed my side of zoodles. I was surprised and amazed at how well they were done -- they were so luxuriously long, it was really fun! They were also a beautiful bright green, cooked perfectly (not too hard, not too soft -- just right!), nice to twirl on a fork, and came with a really great, garlicky sauce. Mmm .... The salad greens were spectacular, the cheeses were mouth-melty, the bread at the beginning was superbly crisp on the outside and sturdy but soft enough, and chewy on the inside, the dipping olive oil with some grated cheese was excellent and helped tide me over 'til the antipasti of Wild Mushrooms came. I heard the Chilean Sea Bass in the Sea Bass Spring Salad was 'like butta,' it was so soft and easy to cut through and apparently very good. It came with salad greens, cutely-cut, skin-removed orange wedges, strawberry slices all neatly arranged around the edges, and a bit of delectably soft cheese. What can I say? Nothing was amiss! Parking was easy and couldn't be closer, with two designated accessible parking spots available right across the small street, and one not far around the corner. The ambiance outside (where we ate) was very nice. Everything was made easy. The (women's) bathroom is capacious, with a big, accessible stall and two others. The indoor dining area is very big with lots of tables. The best part of walking through the indoor area is catching a glimpse of the real fire, ready to bake! Overall, everything was totally enjoyable!

This unassuming restaurant in a rather seedy strip of Rockville Pike exceeds expectations at all levels. The dining room is neutral and simple, relaxing and quiet. The service is fantastic. Honestly, there are not too many professional waiters left in the world but, the ones that remain, all work at Il Pizzico. Service is impeccable. Danny was perfect. The owner, Enzo, is charming and enlightened with his menu. When we mentioned how much we liked ramps (which Enzo had picked himself out in the woods, by the way), he went and got some pickled ramps he made for himself only (not on the menu) so we could taste. Charming. Inspired. Elegant even! My main course was ramp risotto with scallops. OMG great! The risotto was luxurious and complex and filling and surprising - all at once! I hate to throw out the word "perfect" again but this dish was in fact perfect! The rice was perfectly cooked and satisfyingly crispy at its center. Honestly, I got lost in this dish. There were other things in the risotto - onions? Scallops for sure. Green shavings (what the heck was that)? Who cares! The risotto was that good. My dish was so good that it could have been ONLY risotto and I would have loved it! The risotto was so good, in fact, that I ordered creme brulee for dessert and I don't even like creme brulee. I know this doesn't make sense and I know it doesn't paint me in a good light - but it's true. Lamb chops were cooked perfectly. My only qualm was that the fat could have been trimmed more. The asparagus came out burnt! I asked for less char and they provided another side free of charge. The clam linguine was VERY buttery. A good portion of clams with NO sand but the dish had a scary amount of butter at the end. The tiramisu was a lot lighter than what I was expecting.
