Good New York style pizza, beer and wine, nice side salad. That should be enough but Yelp demands more wording. I would say having it there prevented the take-home pizza dilemma where it steams itself in the box. We got a couple of slices, had some toppings added, and they heated it up in the pizza oven. Good New York style pizza. They sell it by the slice which is rare these days. Delivery is available within 3 miles of the restaurant so it is convenient. Better than the chain pizza places but they can be inconsistent as I have gotten undercooked crust a few times. They also have all the classic Italian dishes (chicken parmigiana, spaghetti, etc). and these are good versions of these dishes. Every time I order they never get it right if you say, NO mayonnaise you'll get extra mayonnaise I've ordered here the last three times very simpler orders and even call them to verify the order and they still get it wrong. Walking into this place is like time stood still sometime in the late 80s/ early 90s. The only thing missing was a soccer team party is the corner. (Side note to the restaurant- please fix up your bathrooms, they are were not pleasant to say the least.) The pizza pretty much matches that- a pretty classic New York style greasy slice with a slightly sweet sauce and a load of melted cheese. Our group ordered a supreme and a cheese pizza. The cheese pizza was honestly better than the supreme- the toppings meant the cheese was a little under cooked. But overall it wasn't bad at all. That said, five stars for the service. We came here years and years ago when we first moved to the neighborhood, and we weren't too impressed (hubby is a NY pizza snob.) But we decided to try it again recently, and boy were we pleasantly surprised! I got a salad to start, which was fresh and yummy. And the pizza was really good! A few days ago I decided to check this place out. After I finished my package drop off at UPS Store, I walked in and ask if they sell pizza by the slice. They did and I ordered 2 slices of plain cheese pizza. OMG, it was so good!! Exactly what I needed. It was so good, I went back the next day and ordered a 16' pie. Highly recommend if you love ny style pizza. Great job guys!! I'll be back soon. Btw... as I was walking back to my car,a lady said to me this pizza place is fantastic. Pizza Stop has one of the most iconic white pizzas in the area. Garlicky, good cheese ratio, nice thin crust.

We actually tried to go somewhere else last night but the parking lot was so full that we drove a little farther out from our house to try Pizza Stop. I'm so glad we did. It's a smallish place with a handful of tables inside and several outside (which will be great when it warms up a bit), the staff was very nice, and most importantly the pizza was delicious. We got the Pizza Stop Combo without mushrooms. The crust wasn't either thick or thin but it was light and airy. I actually personally prefer the crust a tiny bit crisper, if you're a "folder" you'll like it as is, I ate it with fork and knife to avoid accidentally dumping it on my lap. The toppings were plentiful and very good quality. The sauce was robust and delish (I ordered extra, glad I did.) Plenty of cheese (I didn't order extra, didn't need it.) I particularly liked the meatballs and sausage. The 16" was about $24, and we ate half of it for dinner, took half home. They have other things than pizza on their menu, but I like the pizza so much I don't know if I'll ever try them! I wish Pizza Stop was a little closer to our house, as it's much better than the local place (which is fine, but not in the same league). It's in the same plaza as a really nice bakery though, so that's one extra draw for making the trek. read more

I called ahead for pick up. They messed up my initial order and never made it. They didn't tell me until after I paid, which then forced me to wait for my order to be ready. That could have been forgiven if the food was good. We ordered Old Bay wings and a Spicy Pepperoni Pizza. The wings were haphazardly made with the tiniest sprinkle of Old Bay and were pretty much tasteless. The pizza was supposed to be 10 inches, but it was barely 8 inches. Also it was not spicy at all. I have a feeling they probably didn't add the honey Sriracha sauce that was supposed to be on it. read more

It was a time when Toy's R Us still existed, Saturday Morning Cartoons just ended, and Shia LaBeouf was giving motivational speeches which was essentially ripping off Nike's slogan. 2015... last time I was there was probably 2015. And back then it tasted like school cafeteria pizza. But I saw the reviews had been popping and I was like, "forrealz?" And dammmmmmmmmmn... pizza stop was like Pizza Go! Everything improved and everything tasted better. We got the Pizza Stop Combo (which was 2 legit 2 quit), Happy as a Clam (I can't think of any clam references), and a plain cheese pizza (cause my son is basic and picky eater). First off... While my son is basic, the cheese pizza is not. It does not taste how I remembered it to be, and it's a good amount of cheese, buttery, and the dough is great. The Pizza Stop Combo was off the hook too. It was sooo good my son at a slice, and didn't take off the green peppers or onions, which I'm surprised. He didn't try the Happy as a Clam, but that's fine with me cause I didn't want to share. The happy as a clam has a nice spice to it... so be warned if you don't like spicy at all... but it's soooooo good. Terrible place to go for pizza. The old owners were very decent people but now there's a new sheriff in town, over and he's not a very nice person in fact he charged me 86.67 for two combo pizzas that were ordered wrong but I'm sure that there was something wrong with they're app. Instead of understanding what we were going through he decided to charge me full price for two pizzas that I returned and giving me no credit or anything like that. I don't recommend them for any reason. They don't care about their customers. Food was very bad, cheese came off easily, and the pizza was not cut already. It was very rushed, as when I came they didn't hav the food ready when I put in an order 20 minutes beforehand, and the ambiance of the place was Ok. All I have that they should improve, is writing down orders when they come in so they can make it before they come in, and actually cut each slice individually. read more

Who knew 16 months ago "fully vaccinated" would mean something. But we are and so we are slowly, and very carefully, starting to emerge from our pretty much total isolation. One of our first ventures was to have the girls next door over for lunch, to play with our dogs and to admire our new pond fish. We ordered a large cheese pizza and a Greek salad from Pizza Stop. The pizza was perfect, a nice bready crust, tomato sauce not too sweet, and just the right amount of cheese. The Greek salad didn't look like much but was a surprise hit. Even the picky tween ate two bowls! She loved the tzaziki dressing. After our successful lunch the girls mother texted us that the pizza was reportedly "delicious". This rating kills me. I use to love this place. But sometime in the fall 2019 I think they place went under new owner ship. Food quality went down. Drastically. Pizzas less cheesy. Delivery taking forever to come. When I was quoted 45 min I called at the hour point and I said I can drive up and pick up no problem. Was told it already left the store. Another phone call and 30 minutes later my pizza comes. My usual white pizza was dry and the cheese pizza as a little burnt. Called and complained and was told we will do better next time. Next order the soda was expired by more then a year! I know they just bought it so they isn't their fault but check what you send out. Then I call today and find out they no longer put olive oil on their white pizza. After 32 years from ordering I won't do it again. read more

Zero customer service. it's too bad because I live less than 5 minutes away. food is decent, but not great. I've always ordered from here for the convenience. This time was my last. They messed up my order so bad I had no choice but to drive back to return the sub and have them make a new one. After a considerable wait, I explained that my original order was 2 subs, for my son and I. Since I had to go back and get mine remade, my son and I didn't get to eat dinner together. I asked if we could have a couple desserts so we could at least have dessert together. less than $5 worth of desserts on a $30 order seemed reasonable to me. A good manager would have offered it before I asked or offered a 10% off the next order coupon. Nope. I was told a solid "no". Zero customer service. Had a hugeee pizza craving tonight - so I thought I'd give the local neighborhood pizza place a try. Never been here before, but I shop at the Aldi and go to the LA fitness regularly so it's a convenient location for me. Showed up about 45 min before closing. The guy at the counter says no more dine in, but we can order carry out. Seems kind of early but ok, fine. Waited about 15 min for our carry out order, and during that time, the guy turns away another customer, says they're closed (even for carryout!) My small Hawaiian pizza comes super piping hot in a flimsy thin cardboard container that actually is too hot to touch the bottom of without burning your hands. Opened the box and the pizza is super cheesy (some might like this but I don't) with thin crust so all the cheese and toppings slide off as I try to pull off my first slice. Pizzastop satisfied my pizza craving (really anything resembling a pizza would), so they get 2 stars for that, but I would rather spend my $10 on a Papa Johns pizza next time. Service was not friendly and felt very rushed, and pizza was really not worth the value. Maybe the other food is better, but I will need convincing to give this place another shot. read more

After doing some shopping nearby, I stopped in this cute little pizza place. I appreciate that they sell pizza by the slice and you can customize whatever topping you want. I know alot of the chain restaurants have a personal pizza size. I just wanted one slice to satisfy my pizza craving. I feel like this place has been here for years. I live down the street and always pass it but never really gave it an opportunity. Only because I have my faves including Ledos and Vocelli's....oh not to forget Armands. I am glad that I finally did. I thought the pizza tasted good. The crust had that good soft crunch that was oh so satisfying. I really enjoyed it but I feel like the crust could use a tad more flavor. The crust, cheese, sauce and pepperoni ratio was good. Overall, I would def go back. read more

I was shocked in a positive way. After reading reviews, I wasn't certain about ordering here. The girl who took my order was so sweet and positive. The delivery was right on time and the guy apologized because they accidentally put a regular coke instead of diet. He came back within minutes with the Diet Coke that was still ice cold...a 2 liter that's cold!! Pizza was so yummy and baked perfectly. I will definitely order again. My last review got taken down for some reason, so let's try this again. Folks, stay away. The new ownership is awful. Quality control has gone down the drain. They've spent so much time upgrading the televisions and removing the lottery machines/Keno that they stopped paying attention to how long it takes to serve food, serving food that's not burned, or treating their employees decently. In the times that I've eaten there or ordered from there, the cooks spent so much time on their phones that my order took nearly 40 minutes to come out (there was only one other table occupied). When I ordered for delivery, the eggplant fries were soggy and barely cooked, while the regular french fries were burned to the point of being inedible. In directly speaking with one of the waitresses who worked there (she's since quit), she was physically threatened by one of the delivery drivers, then challenged to a fight by one of the cooks...and management placed her on probation for the confrontation. Save yourself time and aggravation. Go to Sole de Italia around the corner instead. read more

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon after a 4 hour drive. Staff was friendly, food was good and made to order, reasonably priced.

The steak and cheese sub is great and the fries perfect. Pizza awesome too. Would give em a five but the customer service sometimes is lacking from the big guy. My guess he might be over worked cause good help is hard to find. Many times I say I'm never going back but the food is the best in the area and the other shorter gentlemen is super pleasant which keeps me coming back. Big guy it's hurtful when u tell a very happy family that comes in at 8:10 and you cut them off by saying, "just want to let you know we close at 9!" Better way to say it , "guys we close at 9 I would be happy to make it to go for you" OR just serve them. I felt so bad for the kids they were so excited to eat outside but instead they just left sad and you didn't seem to care. Everybody is not like me. That family probably won't be back.
