I have been here twice now. I have had the pizza, hot Italian sub, and the wings. First for the pizza. It is thin crusted and square. It was pretty good, but thin crust isn't my thing. The sub was great, just on the smaller side, but a good value for the price. The wings are excellent and their blue cheese actually has the chunks of crumbled blue cheese. That is usually hard to find. I will be going back to this mom and pop pizza place soon. read more

Classic Italian fare, good prices, well executed, and friendly service. Just off the highway and providing a solid value for travelers. The ceasar salad was well executed. Anchovies were generously applied, as requested. A rare pleasant surprise. The house red sauce was homemade, fresh, and was as good as I have had or made. Ledo's pizza is great, but I wanted especially to compliment the excellent staff here at the Winchester location. This place is hit or miss. It used to be a favorite of ours but not so much anymore. The soup, breadsticks and salad is a good deal for lunch but the soups almost always disappoint. They are obviously not homemade and are not reheated well. The salads are great and the house dressing delicious. The bread sticks are generally good. Sometimes you don't get real fresh ones. I like their buffalo chicken salad also. It is definitely family friendly which isn't always a bonus for those of us without little children. read more

Let me start by being fair. Having lived my whole life having Philly or N.Y. style pizza and knowing how horrible it is south of the mason Dixon line, we should have known better. Ledo's pizza was better than most in the south, but not something I'd go back for. While it was better than frozen, it leaves a lot to be desired compared to the areas I listed above. The staff was friendly, as I've come to expect in Virginia, the service was fast and the atmosphere better than most pizza places anywhere. For these reasons, I gave them three stars, not the food. I'd bet locals would disagree with me as the place was packed for a Sunday afternoon, and that's fine. Won't be on my comeback list, but if you're not used to really good pizza, that shouldn't discourage you. read more

I wish I could give it a zero. Went there with my family ordered spaghetti there was so much water in the dish it looked like noodles floating in orange broth. I said something about it to the waitress who rolled her eyes at me and said it's cooked in water what do I expect. Staying at a nearby hotel, we welcomed the chance to walk our way over to Ledo's after our long day of travelling. The dining room was full at 7 on a Saturday night, but we were seated quickly. While waiting, we noticed a steady stream of take out customers. Service was quick and very friendly, which we appreciated as we were all starving. The cheese pizza was devoured by kids and proclaimed to be very good. Other kids happily feasted on the cheese ravioli. The adults both enjoyed different chicken entrees. As we left an hour later, traffic continued to pour in, both to dine and take out. This is not fine Italian cuisine, but it doesn't market itself as that anyway. If you are looking for a decent meal at a reasonable price, Ledo's is a place worth checking out. read more

First time visiting this location. The place was very clean, service was excellent. Our waitress Kailee was great. Very attentive & always coming by to see how we were doing. The food was hot and delicious. The price of the food more than matched the what we received. Received a coupon for a free 8" pizza, so my dinner was paid for. The most important thing with the restaurant biz, is consistency. This place doesn't know what that means. If you dine-in, you have a better chance at edible food. I would highly advise against carry-out. Nearly every time we have ordered carry-out, there has been something wrong, but we kept giving them chances. You can bet that the my last trip in there, was just that; my LAST. A couple of weeks ago, during a major snow in this area, I trekked up there to get dinner for my family. A simple order of (2) steak subs with fried onions, (2) orders of fries, and a big Italian salad. Upon arrival home, the first thing my wife spied, was a loooong black hair in one of the subs, that actually traversed the entire length of the sandwich. Seeing as how it was late and I was starving, I removed the hair and ate that one. Both orders of fries tasted, and felt, as though they had been sitting for hours, and were just microwaved. Greasy and hard. They went in the trash. The salad was mediocre at best. I didn't even bother calling them, seeing as how I'll never step foot in that dump, ever again! I ate there twice now in the past are months while visiting town. Both times I was very impressed with the quality of the food. Hot, fresh, tasty. The first time I had lasagna which was terrific. Two days ago, it was Hawaiian pizza on a heavenly crispy crust and, again, hot and fresh. My kids had pizzas, too, and they said they were very good. We also had a 6-piece order of chicken wings. My son chose the hottest flavor, Dragon Fire. The waitress warned us about the spiciness, and she was not kidding. After two wings my son and his friend were sweating profusely. But still finished the plate. Service was good and attentive. The restaurant has a pretty standard interior, nothing fancy, but clean. Prices are decent. I will definitely go back, since the location is perfect when I stay at the Marriott up the hill (two minute walk). read more

I'd say maybe 3.5. The buffalo chicken fries were tasty! Even though they did not leave the blue cheese crumbles off as requested. The pizza was greasy and nothing special. As usual I'm not happy with Ledo's again. Had a real bad experience in Martinsburg about a year anda half ago which was partially resolved but not taken up managers request yet for a free meal. Tonight I ordered a supreme with wings special and after driving almost two hours to get home to my surprize I see a cheese pizza instead. I asked for a refund then the young girl told me I ordered a cheese pizza which I responded that I didn't, that I ordered a supreme. Tired and irritated I just got my refund. Winchester must be cursed as far as restaurants go since ordeing from another pizza establishment that one wasn't much better (cannot seem to make a well done pizza, slimy crust *Senseny Road hint! An....'s) I work in Falls Church and that's where I first experienced Ledo's 30 years ago. Nobody seems to have passion about the quality of what they do anymore. I was so irritated that I decided the next time I want pizza I'll drive an hour to Chambersburg to Pat & Carla's Pizza. These guys could give you all a serious lesson in how to make quality pizza and service that's second to none. read more

This place does not even deserve one star! The pizza is a pre-made shell, and it tastes like a soggy cracker. The sauce is out of a can. The caprase salad was cherry tomatoes and little fresh mozzarella balls on a stick, with romaine lettuce. More l like a toss salad to me. And my penne Fresno... Flavorless. I went here with my family , not knowing it was a chain. Regardless it was gross. We left more than half of our food that we ordered. I keep reading on Facebook that this place has the best pizza?! First time visit and was very disappointed. First waitress says our waitress will help us shortly. 10 mins later we had to ask one of the 6 waitress to help us. Served us our app of Hot cheese fries with no fork had to go get forks myself. Not 4 mins later we are served our entree and was not even half way thru our fries. Our entree chicken calzone was gross. The crust tasted like cardboard willing to bet it with frozen at one time. Inside it was cold in spots. It was inedible. The Winchester Ledo's is by far the best Ledo's I've been to in the Washington DC area. The staff has always been top notch, quick service and never have to ask for refills.
