Great massage and customer service. Place looks clean, but they started it by soaking our feet in a pedicure kind of a tub which was emptied out after our soak. I did not see it being cleaned before the next set of customers was ushered in. Also, the velvet cushioned seats and footrest had no disposable lining. Again, it looks clean, but it's dark in color so you can't tell. The next set of customers immediately after sat exactly where we did without any cleaning between. That's worrisome. read more

I had a busy day touring New York City. I had just walked down from the Met gallery. My feet were killing me and I came upon this spa that does foot reflexology. I didn't have an appointment but they fit me in. I would have liked to have sat in the chair but because I didn't have an appointment they put me on a table downstairs in a very small room. It was the best foot massage I've had in a very long time and of course I tipped her well and caught a cab back to my hotel in midtown. I slept like a baby. read more

I got the natural oil massage with CBD oil. I made an appointment, but there's walk in available. I'm just the type to call ahead and secure a spot as opposed to waiting. My masseuse was coco and she was very attentive to my tense shoulders. She constantly asked if she was applying too much pressure and made sure it was a relaxing experience for me. I got my massage in the basement area of the spa which was nice. The only downside was that I had to ask if there was music. I've had my fair share of massages in the past. I would rate: Ambience 4/5 - it smelled great when I first walked in, but the aromatic smell from the upstairs disappears when you go down. Rooms had curtains as doors. So in between changing positions and it was quiet you could hear the client next to you if they are talking (Not bad because I don't think anyone goes to get a massage to talk the entire time & as long as there's music playing it's not a problem). Massage 4/5 - great for the price and it also included hot stone. I would've appreciated the oil to be warm, but it isn't a huge factor in my review because the massage was relaxing. If you mention where your problem areas are that's where the focus will be. For me it was 70% my back and shoulders. If you want an equal amount of attention in all areas of your body, make that known. read more

Mai was fantastic. For the past 5 years I've averaged getting a massage two, three times a month to ward off the pain from an old spine injury. I've gone to many places and am particular about the practitioners knowledge of Kinesiology and Myology. This girl knows what's up. I communicated my problem areas and off she went, kneading and massaging and taking the time to focus on specific muscles that needed additional attention. I felt great after the massage and while I don't live in NYC, I visit often enough to make her my new go to while in town. Now about the interior. The place is clean and the beds are fine, nothing fancy and certainly not run down. I'd say it's a midpoint between a spa treatment and those discount Chinese massage parlors. I was fine with it. First time coming and the staff was wonderful. They were on time, they asked how you would like the massage to be (hard or soft). They are very careful not to hurt and privacy was given. Favorite local massage place. Came in last month after being slumped over my computer for 6 months of quarantine and was impressed by their Covid protocols (temperature check, short questionnaire, and they even put booties over my shoes when I walked in!) For newbies: after they bring you to your room, hang your clothes on the hooks provided (leave your underwear on), lie face down on the table and drape the towel over you. They'll take care of the rest. 30 mins is $30 so I pay $40 cash and give the $10 change to my masseuse. I have had both the male masseuse and probably every single female masseuse at this point and they're all fantastic. Definitely going in again this week! read more

I don't usually write reviews, but I had to for this one. My back and neck are f'd up, probably have a bulging or herniated disc in my c-spine and I unfortunately haven't been proactive about PT or other methods. For temporary relief, I usually look to massages, and I've been to several other spots on the upper east, with mixed reviews. I tried this place because it's close to my job. The ambiance is nice enough, similar to other spots in the area. You go in to the main area, then they take you to the basement. I had asked for a deep tissue massage, but it was honestly so much more. First, she asked me where my problem areas were (everyone should do this!). The, she stood on my back. As a bigger dude with such a knotted up back, this was a godsend. After a while she asked if I wanted to upgrade for 10 dollars to a CBD oil massage, and for 10 dollars why not! The oil was warm, which relaxes your muscles further. Following that, I got hot stones added for no charge, which was nice. I unfortunately didn't get the name of the massage therapist, but she was very attentive and when she hit my knots, she kept going at them. After the whole thing I tipped her a 30 to make the total price a very reasonable $100. The only thing I regret was going for the 60 min massage rather than 90! read more
