I live in Wickenburg. Just returned from errands to the Glendale area... friends in the area suggested we try this butcher shop. I liked what we saw, picked a hefty supply of meats and some bottled products. After the hour drive home, unpacked my products, discovered the Black Truffle Olive Oil is dated back to 3/2021. Called the store, they requested a photo to prove my claim... sent the photo. They want me to return it and they will issue a gift card? HELLO! I reiterated I live an hour away... not going back. THEY REFUSED TO CREDIT AMOUNT TO THE CARD USED. Was told their supplier assured them the oil is good for TWO years after past date... hmmmm. Do you trust that oil will taste good on YOUR food? A Veteran/family run business that doesn't honor another Veteran's purchase? BS! read more

Wow...we committed to purchasing our meats from a local butcher rather than a major grocery chain as to not contribute to the bank roll of the 4 major meat suppliers in the US, and we were delighted. Purchasing bacon wrapped asparagus, fresh ceviche, surf and turf (flank steak wrapped around lobster and cream cheese) and 4 beautiful pork chops we were beyond delighted. Absolutely love this place! We travel from far north valley to come to this family friendly butcher shop. There is always a smile and everyone is always so helpful. We've tried a good portion of their meats and sides as well as Meat Duster seasoning and definitely worth the drive and price. Love that this business is Veteran and family owned! This places marinated chicken is really really good. You don't have to be a meat/cook connoisseur to make great tasting meals at home with the pre-marinated chicken and other seasoned meats. Stopped in last Friday a bought a Prime Plate Rib...Short Ribs just 10 times better. I almost bought the short ribs but the guy behind the counter asked how I was cooking them and said the Plate Ribs would be much better. I'm glad I took his word. Smoked the with Pecan wood for 9 hours. I've always been a brisket guy but not anymore. New fav for sure! Super friendly staff. I'll be back for sure. read more

I stopped in for the first time and I was so pleased with the selection of meats, cleanliness of the store, variety of rubs, spices, pickled condiments, dips, a compilation of seasoned meats, local honey selection and service. Beef liver, chicken feet, duck breast, bone marrow, oh my. Very neatly organized, kept, and so, so clean. I found my new place for high end meats. Thank you for this wonderful local shop. read more

Meat Mecca!! I miss the days of growing up in Colorado where my family would go to the butcher for quality meats and the farm for our veggies. Now I've found a place for my meat! They have a lot to choose from and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Plus they have a lot of local condiments and snacks. Definitely going to get all my meat there from now on. read more

So here's the deal. Do some of their meats look pretty darn good, yes. Do I love the atmosphere and the fact that I went in there two weeks ago and no one as far as the employees were wearing any type of masks or gloves, which you can lambaste me all you want, but I think that's pretty irresponsible and arrogant of a brand new business that has opened in somewhat of a retirement community. Upon walking in I wasn't greeted by anyone, I guess I didn't look like I had enough money to spend and I was the only one in there in a mask, so I already felt very unwelcome. Nice idea, I love it is right by my house and several other businesses that I patron. What I don't love is the arrogance behind the attitude, the fact that I was not greeted, the hefty prices, and the unmarked ground beef. Even at the grocery stores I usually have a choice of 80/20 or 90/10 and here the meat looked very pink and had no description. I'll continue to use my butcher at 115th Ave. and Bell Road, "Bob's butcher", their sourcing is available and everyone at the facility in an elderly community is still being very safe. and I have a feeling I'm not the only one that feels this way, I was in there on the Saturday before Mother's Day and there were four people in the whole establishment, I left and went to my butcher and had to stand outside in line and wait. Not negating a new business, but just wish they were a little more friendly upon entering and we're a little more aware of the area that they opened up a brand new business in. In my opinion, they are catering to the "always Trumper's" in this community and unfortunately several of us are not on the same page. read more

Great owners, great meat great price for quality. Better meat than AJ's for less money. Very helpful and educated on their product, had a few vendors set up in the parking lot smoking meat, selling seasonings and crafts. Great little atmospheres, a great addition to the west side. read more

Our house has tried the ugly hanger recommended by Jason (highly recommend myself), the pastor (also highly recommend), the pollo asado, the bacon and tonight the dry rub wings. We were at the grocery store debating on dinner and I didn't want any of their meats! The price may be higher than a grocery store chain but I do not care. You cannot substitute quantity for quality. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I am so happy with Lee Bones! read more

My first time visiting and I could not be happier! I was greeted with a smile and a laugh! This shop is what it is says it is - a butcher. Now I'm happy there was more offered but I didn't walk expecting more. I will be frequenting them regularly. In regards to the reviews about masks and such, last time I checked we are all adults and can make decisions for ourselves. If it was an issue, just ask - no harm, no foul. Don't know what kind of ground beef that is? Just ask. Everyone there was attentive and helpful. read more
