Service: 3 Location: 4 Parking: 5 Atmosphere: 2 I went to Phoenix nail Spa once. it was a last minute decision based on the location and the Yelp reviews. The atmosphere was ok but it wasn't the best service. On a busy Friday, there were only 2 technicians. The one technician seemed as though she was the manager. She knew two of the customers who walked in. They had appointments but she told them that she was running behind and to come back in 30 minutes. I hope they get more help. The service was very rushed. Also, if you want nail designs, you have to make an appointment because someone ELSE does the designs and special services. Crazy and not normal but that is a learning curve. Update: why did the business owner just attack me with a full book response???? Smh! Crazy. I see other reviews and anyone who doesn't give them a 5 she just goes in and attacks. That is extremely unprofessional. Business 101::::: EVERYONE will not like it LOVE your establishment. I said nothing about the paper on the floor. I had not Idea they were remodeling. Didn't phase me. I didn't say the technicians were bad. Please relax. This is MY opinion of the service that I observed. I have a great memory that serves me well. I described my experience on the day. I am not trying to boost any status. I am not Yelp Elite. Please stop coming after people who give their honest opinion based on their prospective. I understand you take reviews serious, as do we who write them; however, attacking someone because they don't give you perfect stars is insane! This is my new favorite place. Alex and Tiffany took such great care of my friend and I for mani pedis. I ended up getting the dip manicure and I love it. Tiffany was delightful to chat with and Alex definitely made us laugh and was down to earth. My friend and I will definitely be going back!!

Walked in on a Thursday morning. My first impressions are that the place is big and very clean (my nose was infiltrated by disinfectant and polish).They have a crazy selection of colors (regular and gel) as well as a plethora of awesome designs by Elizabeth. I opted to get a gel mani and was lucky enough to get Elizabeth. She was very sweet and quick! The tools she used were clean as they were all straight from the package. I will def visit here again on my next trip to NC.

I came in with quarantine nails: long, cuticles all over the place, and skin dry. I asked for the Mani (a new you) and pedi (a dreamers destination). They had amazing procedures in place to ensure I felt safe during this pandemic and covid. I texted for an appointment, then texted to let them know I arrived. Everyone wore masks and they limited the number of clients in the building. The Mani/pedi itself was luxerious with the massage chair, scented neck pillow, warmed eye mask, foot/hand massages, free drink, and kind/warm conversation. Now I feel relaxed and my nails are ready for the summer!

I've been around the block when it comes to nails spas, and Elizabeth is AMAZING. Her work and quality of products reallly show. I'm beyond amazed at how she was able to transform my nails completely. This is now my permanent spot!

I absolutely loved my experience at this nail salon. I will never go anywhere else! I didn't go to nail salons very often because I didn't feel welcome. But that is not the case here at all! It was a wonderful and relaxing environment, I was offered a variety of beverages, and being able to text for an appointment was SO convenient. Alex did an amazing job! I'm so so happy! I can't wait to go back.

Ever since I moved to NC, I have been on the lookout for a clean, professional, and well rated nail salon. I don't get my nails done often as I try to grow them out naturally and keep them healthy; however, I occasionally get gel polish to help them grow without breakage. After looking at Yelp, it seemed that Phoenix Nail Spa had decent reviews and it was on my way home from work. It was pretty busy at the complex when I arrived and it was difficult to find a parking spot. There appeared to be an event at the business next store; so, that may have contributed to the crowd. I wound up parking a few stores down and walked to the salon. When I entered, I walked up to the receptionist desk and asked if they could take a walk-in appointment for gel polish and a polish change on my toes. The woman working the desk asked one of the technicians and they said they could take me in a few minutes. She then handed me the color wheels and told me to pick the colors I wanted. I waited a few minutes, picked my colors, and was greeted by my technician. She was really friendly and engaged in some conversation throughout my visit. Unfortunately, the tools she was using were not the cleanest. I was hoping they used new nail files and/or sanitized their equipment after each use; but, the technician took a used nail file and other tools directly from her drawer. This was disappointing as I've been to plenty of other salons who use new nail files and tools taken from the autoclaves. While she was working on my nails, I couldn't help but observe the decor of the salon. They had various seasonal decor scattered throughout the salon - the majority of it Halloween related. Some of the shelves had Christmas decorations and they had Thanksgiving/fall decor over by the nail dryers. Perhaps they don't have enough room to store their decorations when not in season? I'm not sure; but, it kind made for a strange aesthetic in the salon. Aside from the decor, the music was awesome. It must have been a 1990/2000s playlist they had streaming because all of the songs took me right back to middle school/high school, haha. Once my nails were done, she took me over to the nail dryers. I sat patiently, listening to the music, and felt something on my foot. I ignored it for a minute until I felt it again. When I looked down, there were ants on my foot and all around the floor under the nail dryer. :( :( I'm not sure if someone had spilled something while waiting or if they had been there regardless; but, it definitely made me want to leave. The final result of my nails were ehh - the shapes of my nails were crooked from filing and there were bubbles in the gel polish. The nail polish on my toes didn't last long either (which was strange because I usually can get a few weeks out of my toe polish). This definitely wasn't my best nail salon experience and I don't think I'll drive out of my way to visit again. **Update to respond to the business owner: Aside from the fact that I find your response unprofessional; no, I did not write this review to maintain my elite status. I write all of my reviews based on my experiences. My visit to your salon was actually recent (near April) and that decor was out in your salon. I understand that is your personal style and preference of decor. I was only sharing my opinion of the aesthetic. Thanks for your compliment on the color combination! I was excited to find the pair and thought that it did look great together (despite the nail shape). I do always speak up with the technician if I notice something is off; however, they see the shape of my nails from a different angle. It's hard to see until you hold your hand up and I did not realize the shape and bubbles until I was in my car. Also, the ants crawling on my feet made me want to leave sooner than later... I did comment that I enjoyed your music; so, I'm not sure where you saw that I said I had an issue with it? Anywho, I wish you a wonderful week ahead and hope that you can take this feedback positively for your business!

I love this place I get my nails done by Elizabeth and she does a fantastic job. She brings any picture to life. Deff make an appointment with her she's my go to nail tech from now on.

Update to my review: I tried the lavender pedicure along with a gel manicure and it was pure heaven! This is my favorite place to get my nails done and I highly recommend! First experience: I found Phoenix Nail Spa on yelp, so thank you for those who have left your reviews. I am in LOVE with this nail spa! I travel for my job and struggle to find nail salons that give me something more than just a basic gel manicure. I made an appointment in advance with Elizabeth and told her what I was hoping to do (marble nail design on ring fingers and a solid color on the other fingers). She confirmed my appointment the day of, I ended up being a few minutes late but they were friendly when they greeted me. One of the girls brought me the color swatches, I'm sorry I didn't catch your name. Alex ended up bringing me some additional swatches, I couldn't stop eyeballing the cat eye swatches. Let me tell you, I am so happy I went with the cat eye! I love the look and for wanting to branch out a bit, it has given me something to ease into "fun" nails. I wish I didn't travel so much and could get my manicures every 2 weeks from Phoenix Nail Spa. I will be making my appointments every time I know I will be in Raleigh. I also will be telling all of my girlfriends that they need to make this there new home. Thank you for turning my ragged hands into something beautiful Alex! Best nail place I have been to in raleigh. I think the people that work here are what makes this place great. My 2 year old daughter Avery and I went there today for a girls day and had so much fun! We will definitely be back!

If you want hither end nails, you need to book an appt with Elizabeth. She is creative and her work holds up. I have a whole lot of stones on and they haven't budged. She is up to date with technique, trends, equipment, and materials. Staff is really fun and takes care of clients. Great experience.

I was referred to Elizabeth from a friend and it was the best decision ever!! I no longer live in Raleigh but every time I come back I will be making it a habit to stop by here. Alex was very friendly and started with me while Elizabeth was finishing up an appointment. The staff was very nice and professional my appointment started on time and I'm very pleased with my results.
