They don't take care of their properties or residents at all. Our washers and dryers have been broken for over a year, and they never fix them promptly. As a result, residents are unable to do their laundry or are forced to go to a laundromat--yet they still raise the rent every year. My husband and I worked with Jen last year to find our forever home for our new family. At the time we were taking care of a newborn and our dog, so one of our goals was to find a house in a safe neighborhood with a yard. Jen provided many options to us and took us around to see homes that fit our needs. Although at first, we weren't looking to purchase "now," but maybe the following year or later, within a couple months we found something! Because the house we found was in a high demand neighborhood, she warned us that we needed to make a decision quick because the house would not be available in 24 hours. We put in an offer right away. There were many other offers but luckily with Jen's help and strategies, ours was accepted! Because I worked at a financial institution at the time, we provided our own lender which Jen was fully on board to work with. At the end, everything ran smoothly and we had a successful closing in 45 days. Since the house was an older house, she provided suggestions on a company to do our renovations and even walked us through what the house could look like, going above and beyond to help me pick out colors and materials. In addition, this company also manages our former property that we moved from. They were able to get someone into our home within 2 weeks! Unbelievable! I highly recommend Lee international Properties. Just spoke to my rental property manager and it reminded me how great this company is. They've been managing my condo in Salt Lake for over 2 years now and it's been great. Communication is excellent from the property manager. They call/text and explain in full detail and in a way that I can understand. So disappointing. Delays and late response. Charged twice the rent and said it was my fault for not deactivating my account, which should have been disabled once I gave them my move out date. But Lee International took all my deposit for the month of June, plus another full months rent after I submitted my move out date. Very disappointing. read more

I work for a non-profit agency which provides rental subsidies for qualifying disabled adults. There are many landlords and property management companies who straight up refuse to work with subsidized programs, but Lee International Properties does not discriminate and is always willing to give our consumers a chance. I wish I had the same experience as everyone on here, but I didn't. I scheduled a showing for a property in Pearl City with Ryan Allman. On the day of the showing, I arrived at the property 10 minutes before my appointment. I notice there were two or three vehicles at the property, so I thought he was in the house. I parked my car and waited for a bit before going to the front door. A minute later, I received a text message from Ryan apologizing for the late notice, saying we'll need to reschedule and he will call me the next day. Our experience with Jenn Lee as the Property Manager has been very unpleasant. Try giving her a call, it'll be the worst customer service you'll ever experience. 1. She won't answer. 2. She won't return your call 3. She'll try to jet when she is on the property so she doesn't have to talk or address any of the tenants! If by some lucky star of a chance you do get to talk to her, she'll appear clueless and disconnected...like you totally interrupted her day by asking questions about the property management responsibilities and whether or not she will do her job?! We aren't picky people. We don't complain about petty stuff, as we know life happens and things get loud, crazy and messy from time to time. But to have to resort to sharing our experience here, is a heads up for others on the property managers they may want to avoid. Trying to call her and get her on the phone is extremely difficult. You start to feel like you are an inconvenience when you have pressing matters that need to be addressed, and no one is responding. When she does finally answer or return your call, she's short and quite rude. Sometimes, she'll conveniently "drop" your call. We spoke with a tenant who was furious because they were accused of not paying rent, but when it came down to it, the fault was on the organizational part of the property manager/management and whadddaya know, all of a sudden it was hard to get a response from her? It has been an unorganized & flaky experience also when it comes to enforcing house rules (no smoking, yet the fixer upper guy they send (nice guy!) is smoking everywhere on property/ and the "no pet shall be allowed to become a nuisance or create unreasonable disturbance"- new tenants have a dog that's been going at it nonstop. Property Mgr (Jen Lee) been made aware, but no response...Just more barking). Where are you Good Property Mgr Superheroes? We need you!! :) read more

Terrible service as a property manager. If you're looking for a place and see this company as the property's agents, walk away. Imagine paying your rent then getting a text weeks later stating you didn't pay your rent. This is what happened to me. Better yet, imagine paying your rent, and having one of their agents write out a receipt for you on a napkin because they didn't have any paper available. This also happened to me, all under Lee International Properties We're still tenants in a building they still manage, but hopefully after this review, things will change. Thank GOD for yelp... Please read the reviews not just the number of stars. Often Property managers take a big hit because of simply doing their jobs well. If a tenant needs to be evicted for non payment, or if they lose their security deposit because of damages, they tend to take it out on the property manager. We have worked with Jen and her team on two property purchases and she manages one property for us. From the owners perspective, they do a great job, great service for us, and our tenants. They are quick, efficient, clear in communications, and honest. As a owner, trust them. As a potential tenant, know that they are excellent at solving problems and really try to keep great tenants happy. 5 star service. 5 star review. read more

She is great at what she does and knows how real estate transactions as well as property management should be handled. Do not let the bad reviews on here fool you, they are all probably from tenants she had to evict or go after for unpaid rent or damage to properties she manages. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. Ms Lee is incredible unprofessional, sending emails in colored font, and rarely returning calls. A light was broken for over a year with us constantly calling to have it fixed but no response. The owner decided to sell the place we were renting and she informed us that there would be people coming by to look at the place. Only problem was she would tell us Friday some one was coming by to look at the property and they would show up on Wednesday. This happens several times even after multiple complaints from us. Then we were nickeled and dimmed on the check out and barley escaped with any of our deposit. To top it all of one of the interested buyer brought by a home inspector and informed us the property was dangerously unsafe. I would not recommend any business with Lee international. I only wish I could give them no stars. read more

Jen and her team are one of the best and easiest property management companies that I've ever worked with. The response time is constantly quick and to the point. The thing that everybody who rents or has property to rent out ever looks for in a management company is great communication and good customer service. I fail to understand the negative reviews as I've never had anything but positive, even exceptional service from Jen at Lee International. If you are reading reviews, take them from the most recent as a tip. Jen Lee is a property manager that I would put my name to, she's managed two of my properties and she's also been my realtor when purchasing. I'm also an overseas client and she has sorted all my tenant issues and rectified any property complaints immediately, a/c breaks down, fixed, plumbing leaking, fixed I could go on. And she has great licensed contacts who do the work at great rates. I'm almost 100% sure my tenants like her too as she negotiates well between the two parties when increasing rent etc. She's reliable, trustworthy, honest, intelligent, fair and professional. read more

TERRIBLE!!! They purchased the apartment complex we've lived at for the past 3 years and our rent immediately increased by nearly $500!!!! No kidding!!! Everyone started to move ASAP! When management realized this, they started to negotiate with those remaining and instead of a $500 increase we got a $295 increase..still high but due to reasons beyond our control (like grad school) we couldn't move just yet. However, in less than 4 months, the rent was increased back up to the original $500 price initially demanded. Now here's the problem - there are newly renovated units (new floor, new fridge, sink, etc) and our unit is unrenovated but we pay the same price!!! Money hungry people!!! Don't rent from them and contribute to their lavish lifestyle while you struggle. They are not honest people!!! Expect your prices to rise dramatically unless you sign a lease...even then...once that lease expires, guaranteed you'll see a significant increase!!! Stay...away!!!! Good luck!!! read more
