All I wanted was my teeth cleaned, but they refused to do it unless I agreed to a pano xray. I have no issues with my teeth, no history of issues, not so much as a cavity in 15 years. All I wanted was my regular 6 month teeth cleaning. But, evidently new policy says..... no xray, no service. I won't be pushed around be a greety dentist that insists on maximizing billing to my inurance. Get xray's if you want them. If you don't, it should be your choice and your risk. I reseached this situation, and evidently it is legal for dentist to refuse basic exam and cleaning if you won't agree to xrays. Legal and ethical are two differnt things. Can you imaged a doctor refusing to give you a basic exam because you refused a test he recommeded? Besides this, the office staff is terrible, so I recommend you go elsewhere! These guys are after maximum profit from you and your insurance.

When my wife's medical issues caught up with us financially, she lost her career and bankruptcy took our house and we were upside down when Doc saw it fitting to sue me over a $60 delinquency. Unfortunately medical professionals are not required to care about us as people. But I give a good rating to the practice because the dental work is top notch. Just know that if you have the potential to struggle financially, this is not the dentist for you.

Less than an hour later I received a text at 4:30 PM stating that my appointment the next day would be canceled because I didn't return a phone call to confirm. I replied to the text immediately stating that I was unaware that there was a condition that I had to confirm the appointment - I am an adult and if I make an appointment I'm going to show up for the appointment unless I cancel without jumping through hoops to confirm. They replied to the text saying that they could reschedule me and would not be seeing me for my scheduled appointment. My husband called and they explained they canceled both of our appointments and we'd have to reschedule. Mind you, he gave them all of his information as our family information when he made the appointment and at the end they asked for my phone number as well - they did not call him to confirm his appointments at all or use the number he gave, but rather only called my phone number. Seems to me like they were overbooked and used this as an excuse because there is no way they filled our noon appointments between 4:38 PM the evening before and 8 AM the next morning. This was our first experience with this practice and can't imagine putting up with this kind of service. We will be telling our referring physician and also anyone we know in the area because when you lose a days work and are inconvenienced to this degree, it's completely unacceptable. As someone in the medical field, this is not standard practice from the practitioner's point of view. As a dental patient with an ortho appointment today 3 hours later than the appointment scheduled with Midwest Integrative Dental Medicine, this didn't happen with them... or with any other provider I've gone to in all these 55 years.
