Agreed that I continue on with eye drops (a few different kinds), and my regimen was working well and needed to continue doing what I have been doing! Dr. Brimhall wanted to take me off of my NECESSARY eye gel at night. I have Sjogren's! I'm feeling blessed to now have a great Opthalmologist! What a relief! A few weeks after my monovision procedure, I experienced a complete blur and white haze over my right eye (which is my far-sided eye). I was unable to drive back home for 3 hours as my left eye can only see inches in front of my face. Frightened, I called and emailed the Center immediately explaining what was happening. I wasn't able to see anyone until the following week as the doctor was out of town. The following week, I met with Erin and explained what had happened. I explained my challenge with depth perception and I did not feel safe driving anymore, especially at night. She advised me that there are glasses for depth perception issues and to allow 3 to 4 weeks for my eyes to fully adjust. She stated my eyes were dry and gave me more gel drops. A few more weeks went by and I reached out to Erin asking about getting the glasses to fix the depth perception issue. I also asked about fixing my left eye to be in sync with my right eye to eliminate the depth perception issue as I no longer feel safe driving. She explained that the warranty will not cover fixing/reversing the left eye and to wait 6 months (after the procedure) before I can be evaluated for any kind of procedure. And I will have to pay out-of-pocket if Lasik were to fix/reverse anything even if my (or my familys') safety is at stake. So, I had my eyes tested for prescription glasses. The entire point of this Lasik procedure was to not wear glasses anymore. So that too is a failure. The initial meeting, the set-up and the procedure was good. After that, NO ONE CARES. I feel left out in the cold. I do not recommend the Monovision procedure! Additionally, I question my decision to go with The Lasik Vision Institute.

His surgery coordinator was equally impressive--calling to check in, reviewing pre‑surgery instructions, and reminding me when to stop certain medications. Their professionalism and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and stress‑free. The surgery itself--a left eye orbital exploration--was flawless. I had the procedure in the morning and was home that afternoon with clear aftercare instructions. The office I went to is located in the…read moreTivoli Village Shopping Center off Rampart Blvd. It is a very nice office but finding the entrance was challenging . The only way to find the front door is through the parking garage elevator. Even with GPS, it's easy to get turned around because there is more then one garage entrance. When you do find it in the garage the wall will say "Center for Sight," so keep an eye out for that. I included a photo in my review to assist you finding it. This office is extremely busy but the staff keeps things running smoothly and organized. The appointment process involves several different exams, and you'll move through multiple waiting areas, so you're never sitting in one spot too long. My entire visit took about 2-3 hours, which is fair considering the amount of testing they do. The staff members were efficient and friendly. The last person you'll see is the doctor, who goes over your results and answers any questions you have before you leave. I'm giving 4 stars mainly because of how difficult it is to find the entrance, even with the directions they provide. They mentioned the office will be moving to a new location next year, which should make things easier. Tivoli Village itself is a beautiful shopping center. It looks like a little European village with nice restaurants and shops so all in all it's a pleasant place to visit.
