A friendly reminder: check the machine before putting your clothes and soap into it. I've seen this happen to others and myself where they don't label that the washing machine isn't working. You go and tell them, they mark it and walk away. They don't apologize or offer to make it right. It's bad customer service especially because I've seen this happen multiple times. The place is clean but some of the washers have no cold water. I specifically wash on cold so my expensive black work clothes don't fade. I even use Woolite Dark to protect them. When the $9.00 double loader didn't have any water after 3 minutes I showed the lady, who's usually very nice. She told me to wash on warm. Hell to the no! I refused, she argued. I told her I'd like a refund for the wash and the prepaid laundry card I'd no longer be using. I had to stop the machine myself with the red button then she begrudgingly let me use the machine next to it for free. They're clean but expensive. Had to do laundry the other day and I found this place on Yelp. The reviews weren't great but it was the best looking one in Fremont. It was busy when I got there but the place looked very clean. Typically, when a place is busy the place looks like a tornado came through the place, but not here. They had a variety of machines that were reasonably priced and the dryers were really hot! The old man worker there is very rude. I told him someone stole my empty basket with hangers that I left in front of the washer that I was using and he said oh well. Wtf I said can you check the CCTV to see what happened or who took it he said no. I'm very upset, the fact that he doesn't seem to care at all and kept telling me that they are closing soon. I said that my clothes are already washed and it just needs to dry at 6pm when it clearly says last wash is 6pm while mine are already washed!!! I used to come here all the time but today will be my last time giving them business...not like they probably care or will respond to this review. I placed my clothes in one of the dryers and it took my money. I let the older gentleman know what had happened and he immediately snapped at me and said the machine didn't take my money cause it would be blinking red. I again assured him that it did and he continued to argue with me. This is so frustrating especially knowing how expensive things are now...every dollar counts! The place is pretty clean for how busy it is. I see staff constantly sweeping and changing out the garbage cans. You need to pay $1 to get a card first, load it with money, the use it on the machines. It would be nice if the machines can take cash or credit card directly. However, if you load $20 at a time you get $2 bonus added to your card. Don't loose your card, there is no way to identify it's yours. Most days there is open availability for washers and dryers sometimes there is a wait on the weekends. There are not too many carts. Not a lot of close parking spaces but plenty if you park a bit further out. There is always lots of people and kids inside. read more

All I asked was to use a different machine or get a refund and the person in charge straight up said '"NO". She just put water in the machine but it didn't even work. Don't come to this place. It looks like a simple, bright, family oriented laundromat but it is full of predators. Came today for the first time and left with wet laundry because of grown men filming me on their phones the entire time from the chairs against the window. He took three videos of me over the course of 30 minutes and when confronted, admitted to recording me and would have done it again if I hadn't left. Thank you to the manager/employee who stood by sweeping and watched the entire confrontation but didn't say a word or ask the man to leave. read more

This place deserves a ZERO! Don't come here they steal your money and they tell you that they can't do anything about it. This is my first time here and I bought a new card on the machine in order to use. You have to purchase the card for $1, & then I put $15 and I was able to use one washing machine for $6. However, after my clothes were done, I switched it over to a dryer. My card was not working anymore. I tried multiple dryers thinking something was wrong with the dryers. So imagine me switching all my clothes to multiple dryers, and it's hot as hell in there. After couple attempts I realized the card wasn't working so I kindly asked for help. The man working there said there was nothing he could do after he also discovered that my card was invalid. So basically this company stole my money and didn't resolve my issue. I didn't have any more money left to dry my clothes so I left with a bag of wet clothes. Although, I had to purchase a laundry card to load money on to be able to utilize the machines- that was a little chaotic. You need exactly 1 dollar to purchase the laundry card- after that you insert to load and reload money. So make sure you have exactly a dollar for that. They run! a card system which I love. No more hauling quarters! YAY!!! Hello 2018! So you get a card, load cash on it and then you use that card on the machines. They have cool game machines and machines to buy snacks. They also have a machine to buy detergent and stuff in case you forgot yours. I come here to wash my big items I can't wash at home, heavy blankets, comforters and stuff. And the washer and dryers come out nice and clean. This is my spot to do big loads. One of the few laundromats still around and it might be one of the best ones . The facility was clean with plenty of working machines. There's vending machines for snacks and drinks . There's also a little store that sells laundry supplies. Our go to spot for laundry since we moved to Hayward in 2017!!!! The whole plaza is pretty dope, we do laundry and we get either Pho or Banh Mi while we wait! Lastly, it's the CLEANEST laundry mat I can think of ever. Seriously, I've never seen any attendants in other laundry spots that have people constantly walking around cleaning up after people. This place is horrible and the staff is so rude. The dryers don't work and when I told the guy he told me to add more money. The dryers cost 45 cents per 10 minutes. I always do 20-30 minutes. The laundry attendant is very diligent cleaning the area and machines. If she's there she'll open early and let's you start before it actually opens. It get busy so go early. They do have a lot of machines and different sizes. read more

The skinny asian guy on duty every night is extremely rude!! I've had enough today!! I brought up an issue about the machine not working and he started yelling at me. He said something about the pin registering the door open. How the F* would i know that. I called him to resolve the issue and he ended up yelling at me. He also makes the customers fix the broken faucet. He turns off the TV when its clearly somebody is watching. Its funny how he can argue with customers but cant do anything about the homeless people using their outlets all day. If he doesn't like dealing with machine issues then he shouldn't be working here in the first place! read more

This place is really dirty!! There is always homeless people hanging out side or walking around shoeless washing their shoes shaking out the dirt from their blankets. Today topped it for me! A woman came up to me and told me she has bed bugs and combs them out her hair and pops them. Following me to my car and telling me all this. Extremely disappointing with the lack of customer service. Never returning again. Once I was done with my laundry, threw away the wash card. I purchase a Clorox container from the vending machine it got stuck it was only a dollar so I use another dollar to get another one since my white clothes were ready for the bleach. The second one got stuck again. I go and tell the owner. First thing he ask is for the laundry card and waste another dollar. once again nothing comes out. Meantime I missed the cycle to add the Clorox on my wash. Finally the owner is able to get one of the three clorox containers out of the machine I purchase out. I ask for a 2.00 dollar refund. The owner instead calls me a liar and denieds my refund. Lost a customer for 2.00 freaking dollars. How disappointing. read more

My washer recently bit the dust, so my housemates and I had to look for a local laundromat for the wash cycle. Lee Laundromat was the first place we tried. Pretty good experience. I didn't realize it was a CASH ONLY place, so I had to use their ATM to get money to buy cards and soap. The ATM was on the fritz and only gave me $10 instead of the $20 I asked for, but I can't fault the place for that because they don't own it. Next I found out to get a card that you can load with funds, you need exactly $1. Since I only had the $10 I took out of the ATM, that meant I had to buy soap from the little store they have inside the laundromat first. (My advice, bring your own detergent. They didn't seem to have any without fragrances.) Once I bought soap, I had smaller bills to buy a card and load up some funds on it. Once that was all done, the rest was simple and easy. So, it's a nice place. My advice is to bring small bills and at least $1 to buy a card if you don't have one. I'll probably go back again if my household has to start saving money for a new washer. read more

The only time I go to the laundromat is either when A) my washing machine is busted or B) the pile of dirty clothes on my floor is getting so large I cant remember whether or not I have carpet underneath and feel as though the socks are planning to wage a war against the underwear. That way I can pack up the laundy into garbage bags and make a trip to Lee's to either use several machines and get it all done at once! From the outside Lee's looks like a tiny place. Buuut lo and behold, they have a TON of machines inside ranging in all different sizes from standard ones to giant industrial size ones! I usually just use 2 or 3 of the smaller ones and run them at the same time. The machines are card operated, meaning you go to another machine that dispenses reloadable cards similar to credit cards. Now when factoring in about how much money you;ll need to put on your card keep in mind that I generally have to run the dryer twice to get the clothes completely dry. It will be better and cheaper for you if you bring your own detergent and dryer sheets instead of relying of their brands and having to pay for it. Watch out for Wednesdays! Wednesdays is free dryer day so generally speaking its definitely the busiest day of the week for them and is always packed to the brim with tiny old ladies and bratty kids running around! I'd rather just come on a different day and pay to use the dryer than deal with that crowd. lol read more

I really enjoy lee's laundry for the fact that they have a card system. The only thing I really dislike from this place is that their ATM machine almost never works! Very frustrating having to drive somewhere else to get cash!!!! they need to fix this issue because it's really making me considering trying another place instead. I'm already driving out my way to come to this place so I wouldn't mind taking my business somewhere else. Place is usually pretty clean, there's plenty of machines and prices are fair.
