I really enjoy lee's laundry for the fact that they have a card system. The only thing I really dislike from this place is that their ATM machine almost never works! Very frustrating having to drive somewhere else to get cash!!!! they need to fix this issue because it's really making me considering trying another place instead. I'm already driving out my way to come to this place so I wouldn't mind taking my business somewhere else. Place is usually pretty clean, there's plenty of machines and prices are fair. Pricey like any other laundromat in Fremont but clean with surveillance cameras and a card loading system. Much better than Walnut Laundry. I only come here for large comforter loads for convenience. I will use this place from now on. read more

Went here for the first time today. Got a card from the machine and there was no option to use a debit card to load it. Attendant says "cash only" when it is posted NOWHERE! And their ATM is "broken"... seriously?! I ask for a refund for the empty card as I no longer need it because I can't get cash. Attendant says no. Wow nice service guys. Nice enough laundromat spacious with big machines yet the owner or the person that runs the place is not very nice and he smokes cigarettes right outside the door so the whole place smells like cigarettes. After looking around I had finally found a laundromat that was clean, staff is courteous, washers and dryers work excellent, the other clients respected your belongings and I've been going there for about an year, until recently. .......it's been invaded by gypsies. ..which know the staff can't keep with the cleaning! ! They leave food everywhere! Kids running around non-stop and spilling candy everywhere! ! They steal your belongings! !!! Super loud! !!!. They stold more than half my hangers, now I can't sit while the washer/dryer is on or leave my belongings in a basket because they take it. If they didn't behave this way there would be no problem. This is the worst laundromat ever! The staff are the rudest people I have ever met! I placed money into their exchange machine and no change came back, there was a couple next to me that saw everything, so I went to tell the only lady working what happened and she wouldn't even listen to me or give me the rest of the money back that I was supposed to use for my laundry. When I asked to speak with a manager she acted like she couldn't understand me and said she didn't know, even though I'm pretty sure she was just on the phone with the manager. I got the pleasure of meeting the owner when I was tumble drying my clothes. He was sharing with me his stories of how this establishment came to be and from that first impression, I knew he was totally in love with what he does and how friendly he is. This laundromat has everything from state of the art equipment, cheap prices, and friendly people. I even washed my colors and whites together at the same time and all my shirts came out great with no bleeding. Will come back. read more

I've been going to the laundromat next to my house for years. It was a huge hassle because the machines were slow and it didn't have very many so I had to wait long. Luckily, I drove by this laundromat coming home from work and stopped by this place to check it out. Next time I had to do laundry I tried this spot out because it was spacious, modern, and it had a revolutionary new card system where I wouldn't have to carry around loose change. It blew my mind how powerful and fast the machines were. A big plus was that the owner was really nice and the regulars there were fun to talk to. Would highly recommend using this laundromat for your main washing needs. read more

This is my favorite laundromat! They always have an attendant who cleans the place through out the day. They have TVs, machines to get snacks and drinks, plenty of seating and tables to fold. Yes Lee's laundry is the biggest and the best. But please please please please please put pinball machines in. You have enough outlets and room to put a whole pinball arcade there. I would dump so much money if there were pinball machines in that one empty corner. The laundry place on Walnut has pinball machines. I am tempted to go there just for the pinball. Please consider putting pinball machines in. The pinball expo in San Jose costs $30 per person per day. All that money could be yours if u put pinball machines in! read more

Wow this place is huge. Our washer in our home took a crap. So my laundry was piling up and needed to find a laundromat that could accommodate my loads of laundry. There's so many machines. Ranging in size from small to xxxlarge. Came here on a Monday morning. There was an attendant cleaning and making sure everyone who needed help was helped out. There's Tv's, a restroom and a little convenience store, just in case u needed more detergent and stuff like that. Very clean!! Highly recommend coming here to wash clothes!! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am furious!! I have been going to this laundromat for the past 6 months and I love it. The employees aren't always the friendliest but overall it has been great. Until tonight, I have been here for 30 minutes. There is a family here of 3 grown women, 5 children and 3 men. 2 of the 5 children are RUNNING AROUND LIKE MANIACS. And I get it, they're kids yeah it's great they're full of energy but none of the 6 adults here "watching them" have not said a single thing to them. 1 is riding a scooter around the whole area in his diaper and almost ran me over twice along with many other people. And the other is playing bumper cars with the carts in the middle of the hallways knocking over peoples carts full of clothes! And not only are the parents not looking over their screaming children but the older Asian man working here with glasses is doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it even after I have asked him to say something. This is complete crap honestly I'm so mad and something needs to be done because this is unacceptable. read more

I just left Lee's Fremont location without doing my laundry because some dude had many large washers (http://bit.ly/1oNN1Qu) loaded up with cloth mop heads ( http://bit.ly/1pajr73) from his cleaning business. In other words, I'm thinking residual harsh chemicals, fecal matter, urine, etc., left behind in the machine drums. I raised the issue with the dude but only got attitude, the employee on duty doesn't understand English, and no one picks up the phone so two next steps - another laundromat and the Alameda County dept of health, not necessarily in that order. read more

I HATE that this is the ONLY option I have when it comes to my laundry. My car recently took a crap so I cant travel too far with the enormous amount of laundry my family creates every week. These people are sooooo rude and unpleasant. Especially the old guy that usually works at night. He is rude, disrespectful, always grumpy, and one time he turned off the quarter game without warning AS I WAS PLAYING IT!! He said "no more we close 30minute" and he walked away.... I had just dropped $1.75 in the machine and when I told him I wanted my money that was midplay when he pulled theplug he told me to come back in the morning!!!! My laundry was already done an was next time just waiting to be loaded into my friends car so Its not like I was preventing him from leaving on time or anything. I do around 8-10loads a week here an I dread it all week long. They also charge wayyy too much. The best place is in hayward across from dmv. They have a 10 load was machine that washes everything we own (clothes towels blankets sheets) EVERYTHING for only $13 an arcade and vidro games for the kids everyway u turn. This is actually a nice laundromat with adequate/decent parking. The layout works well and the washers and dryers are clean and hardly ever out of order. The other cool thing about Lee's Laundromat is the use of the loadable laundry card. It eliminates the need to carry dozens of quarters. I find this much more efficient and convenient. This branch of Lee's is my favorite so far. I have been to the one on Leigh Ave, San Jose, but the parking lot there can be a disaster waiting to happen. Back to Fremont branch: I would definitely recommend this branch (also the overall business) to anyone looking to do their laundry. read more

Overall a good/decent laundromat, but recently their hot water heater or something broke, and they didn't have hot water for some days. In my opinion this is unacceptable for a laundromat. I wouldn't make a big deal out of this except this is the second time this has happened in a few months. If you need to do a load of whites that needs hot water (or any load that needs warm water even), and there's no hot water, you're going to have to drive to a different laundromat. Cold water loads are the only thing they would be useful for. To me a laundromat with no hot water is like a laundromat that has washing machines but no dryers, or washing machines that have wash cycles but no rinse cycles. Completely useless. They eventually fix the hot water issue, but again this is the second time it happened in only a few months. Some of the positives, though, for Lee laundromat are: They have plenty of washing machines, and in different load/cost sizes. Although they recently raised the cost of loads by a Quarter(25 cents) on there washers, they are still equal to the cost of a lot of the laundromats in the area. But I can't say that I've been to every single laundromat in the area, so you should still shop around. There's plenty of space to move around, it's not as cramped as some other laundromats in the area. They have a huge amount of dryers and a lot of folding table space. And my favorite thing is that they're open until 11:00 pm. One drawback, though, is that you have to use an account card that you load money onto at the vending machine and then use the card to pay at the washing machines and dryers. Also, you have to pay $1.00 just for the card and then add value to it. Their washing and drying machines don't use Quarters. So if you're only going to go there once in your life, whatever money is left on the account card will be lost because I don't think they'll give you cash back on the balance of the card. Also if you lose the card, you'll lose the money value that you still had on the card. That being said, if you add value to the card with a $20.00 bill (not two $10.00s or four $5.00s)it is set up to give you $22.00 in credit (you get $2.00 free). Overall it's still one of the better places in the area, but the hot water reliability issue and the card set up, is definitely not going to get you a 5 star rating. read more

This is my favorite Laundry Area for almost a year now I love the guy before he's soo kind and always there to help you of you need help. this new one a girl they hired!!!! I'm pist off She didntrespond well whenyou need help. Scenario: I put my card in the dryer and have my 10 mins starting already but the machine didnt turn out well so I call her attention and it takes my 5:00time to came to the machine, and told me she didnt need to return it. then I ask her again to see what im doing and tell I wont waste my time to ask for her help if its not real... then that's the time she see it and believe in me.....Soooo not good service! read more

This place is the worst laundromat I have ever been to and I'm not talking about how clean it is or how well the machines work (which really for the cost thru don't work very well) I'm talking about the owner and his lack of customer service. I had one load of wet clothes that needed to be dried. Not even washed, just dried. It was 10:30p. They close at 11. I separated the clothes into 3 different dryers just so it would only take like 10 minutes max. He tells me I can't because they're closing soon. My clothes were already in the dryer and I had already gotten the dumb money card thing required. I tell him this and he tells me I have 6 minutes and then I need to go home. I couldn't get my clothes out fast enough. I will never return here. read more

I've used this place a few times for my comforters, and I didn't have to wait for a large enough machine. I personally like having the reloadable card so I don't have to carry around a chunk of change, it also makes adding a few dollars here and there quite easy. read more

Most Laundromats in Fremont are dirty and the machines do not work... and trying to find an attendant is impossible... that's why we found Lee's Laundromat to be a nice change! It is clean, machines work and if not, they are marked "not working"... big tv sets, places to sit, and an attendant!! Card loading is a dream come true, also!! Its fairly clean....not crowded and plenty of parking. ...rates however went up $1 since last week on all washers. ...dryers still show same rate. Now 3.75 for smallest load washer. my girlfriend and i come too lee's a couple timetimes a week not only to wash our clothe but to play the coin dozer machines. we like it for the most part and it's super clean. the staff here is great except for one guy he's short and rude. he's not here that often but when he is he's just rude that makes you feel like you're walking on egg shells and only wants to turn on the game when he feels like it or if he likes you. one person makes a difference and that's why ib give them 2 stars. over all if he wasn't here i would rate them 6 stars. read more
