Instead of engaging with the person doing my nails, i chatted with my aunt for the duration of the pedi. My mother-in-law is not always alert, so my husband tended her during her pedi. The young lady who did took care of my MIL's feet was very sensitive to the fact that her skin is bruised and delicate and that she is not always aware of what is going on.
