Well,well,well,so I called ahead to this salon since I know some places require appointments..So I…read morehad a dentist appointment in the area and I arrived at the salon around 4pm..They had quite a few people there and as I entered the business bear in mind I'm just coming off double - knee surgery 6 months ago.So I'm just starting to use a cane..I limp into the business and sat down, quickly and the manager (I assume),said hastily,"may I help you sir". She was with a customer, and I said I called earlier about a pedicure..So an employee approached me and I stated I need hot water and maybe a little while for my feet to soak,(soften up).Then the manager lady jumped up from her table, and said let me see your feet,we might can't do them if they're to ruff looking..Now in front of about 15-20 people on my weak knees she wants me to take my shoes off first and see if my feet are suitable for a pedicure..OMG,really now..I get pedicures all the time but this is the first time anyone has ever had to examine my feet first...I just left to say the least without hesitation..So be aware of feet inspections before service at this business for some people...Wow..Talked to a few customers outside whom said they rush people in and out quickly and the prices are high..That explained why they didn't want me to soak for a few..The ladies outside said they do your feet fast and you're out in 30 min.or less...What a moment in time..Beware of the foot inspection shop..

My husband and i took my mother-in-law and her sister for pedicures. They are elderly and have associated issues. Instead of engaging with the person doing my nails, i chatted with my aunt for the duration of the pedi. My mother-in-law is not always alert, so my husband tended her during her pedi. The young lady who did took care of my MIL's feet was very sensitive to the fact that her skin is bruised and delicate and that she is not always aware of what is going on. The people were very nice, the shop was clean and bright, and we were pleased with the results of our pedis. I will go again when i am in Roanoke.

She made me ask for everything. I told her I wanted to make an appointment, her response was "ok", not when, or our first openings are...,she made me ask what they had available and offered abrupt answers of yes or no to all my questions. The nail tech was polite, quiet and worked quickly. They were out of my first three color choices. My nails were filed at uneven angles, several of my nails have bumps and ridges. The nail tech did not clean up my hands after she was done and left color on my finger pads and cuticles. SNS should last two weeks, I'm four days in and my nails are in terrible shape and I'm not really hard on them. Overall, very disappointing. Warning, you can't tip your tech with your card, only cash. I find this frustrating as I hardly ever carry cash. My poor tech got a small tip because it's all I had. A warning on the phone when I made the appointment would have been appreciated by the tech & myself. Definitely will not go back.
