Got a bad infection on my nail right after a fill... it was very red sore and full of pus and it needed the doctors attention... my observation is that they reuse bits from an e-file without disinfection between clients. I'm never going back and I've been cut around my cuticles several times with the metal bit... this is not safe for the consumer plus it is extremely painful. The place looks dirty and I feel that it is unsafe for the consumer. I'm not going back here ever and if you are reading this you should not either. I didn't realize the price difference until up at the front and I had already been done. Nails didn't look that great and they can't do any designs. I've been coming her on and off for 3 years. Today was the worst. I came in for a gel manicure and had a new technician I've never seen before. My nails never saw water! She took the old gel off, then put cuticle remover on my hands. Barely pushed back my cuticles, then she started polishing my nails without rinsing. She also cut my nails and didn't file one of my hands! Truly horrible. I know the order you're supposed to do a manicure in (if the state board of cosmetology were to come in they would be in trouble), and the instruments she used were not even autoclaved. I'm very hesitant to come back as it is. Lotion at the end was barely even rubbed in, no hand massage. I had to wash my hands at the end. They need to be consistent in their training at this salon. Terrible! Dirty! Gross! Please go somewhere else. I came here because I was in the area stopping in to Trader Joe's. I wanted to remove my set and do a basic manicure because I've been so busy and didn't have the time to go to my regular spot for a fill. I figured I would remove and clean them up until I had more time. Once I saw more I just had them remove my nails without even allowing them to do a basic clean up. Their tools are disgusting. They reuse the same buffers, files and clippers without even cleaning it. The lady tried to take the same tools and towels she used on the previous client on me. The tool had a piece of skin on it. It was disgusted. Idk how this place doesn't get flagged by state board. This was my first and definitely last time coming here. The lady was so angry and upset when I told the owner. I waited a couple of days to post my review because my issue was I went to a different nail tech in Lake Elsinore, and the job was horrible. My dip powder started chipping in less than two days. I called Lee's and they made me an appointment the same day. My nail tech, Thai, was aware of my concerns, and the issues that I was having, and insured me that I was not going to leave the nail salon unless I was happy. His personality is amazing, very people friendly and his work is amazing. I am a couple of days out, and my nails are just as strong as I left the salon with. He gives you honest suggestions & really does light up the salon. I highly recommend going here and requesting Thai. Tammy did my toes and they are just as good!! The length, the shape, I even have a problem with my pinky toe. There's not really a nail there, but she did it in a way where I look like I have one lol. Thanks again guys! After gel change on my toes was completely done, still had a polish change and a broken nail to fix. FYI...they only do one service at a time. I had a beige acrylic and she tried to fix my nail with clear acrylic when I asked for the best possible match (I was ok if it was not exact) I got lectured that next time I get a broken nail fixed I need to go back to the original salon. **Mumbled in foreign language, got up, walked three steps and returns with an exact match to my beige acrylic. $30 for the service she explained. Despite the reviews, I decided to try this place so I could form my own opinion. Called and made an appointment for a fill and a pedicure on a Sunday at 4:30. Walked in and was greeted by my first name by a receptionist which was nice to see. My technician, Nicole, was waiting for me when I got there. She proceeded to do my nails and told me she would do my pedicure after. She took her time and was precise with my fill. After my fill, she moved me to the spa chair for my pedicure. She handed me a pamphlet that had their different pedicures on it. I chose the Royal pedicure that had the 15 minute massage (I typically go for this type of pedicure but always cringe that the massage is just going to be like rubbing lotion on my legs). My pedicure was one of the best that I had in a long time. Given the shop closing at 6, she didn't rush through it and took her time. And the 15 minutes massage was the best part! All the other technicians were nice and friendly and I really liked the fact that they had a receptionist to answer calls, greet clients and help with payment - it allows for the technician to focus on the client. I came in last night to get a pedicure, I usually just get a regular pedicure but they kept asking for gel and told me how great it is. Spent $45 on a gel pedicure, plus tip $7.00, a total of 52.00 RIDICULOUS! I came back in the morning because the gel nail polish came off. I'm literally waiting 20 min + in a chair, they don't know the color and have no one to fix it . This is a pain in the ass as I am off today and have things to do. If I was working I'd be pissed because It's the last thing I want to do as I already took the time out yesterday to do this. This is why I don't get gel and never do, more expensive and falls off. The same lady who did my pedicure yesterday, She filed them down after as they were too long but said I should've told her, isn't that your job to know? I came to get my pedicure, I've never had to tell someone to cut or file them. The next day another one fell off after working all day and I went back they wanted me to wait a 1/2 hour I said no, I want my money back she didn't want to give my money back so she had the lady who originally do them do it. Well today, Saturday another one fell off, this is now 3 gel nail polishes the whole thing came off, not a chip, I just noticed as I got into the bath, 3 days I've been there, I didn't spend that much money to have to waste my time to go back every day. I waited a couple days to post this review just because I want to get some information from not only my normal nail tech, but I did talk to a few others. I will say my appointment was a little last-minute only because I got invited to a wedding on Saturday morning so I went on Friday night and they were nice enough to fit me in. When I originally called, I let her know I couldn't be there until 615 and if she could fit me in and she said yes, and then she asked me what I wanted and I told her medium size almond shaped French tip. She said OK we can do that. Fast forward to me sitting in the chair with Kevin. My issue isn't with Kevin Per se and Kevin did a great job. I love my nails. I love the way the French tip looks and love the color of the acrylic powder he used. He does a great job. I will say that the only bad experience I had with Kevin physically was that when I told him what I wanted, he said " Oh ummm that's gonna take a while -,- My real problem is with how they charged me. Originally I wanted to get a medium, but I decided to go shorter than medium. I've been doing my nails for 15 years and I normally get long to extra long but every once in a blue moon I wanna go down to medium but this case I told him to go a little shorter. We've barely gotten through the service , he's already doing my acrylic powder, and the owner of the store comes to me and says they have to close out the POS which is fine but then she tells me it's $75 and I asked her why and she said it's because I got long nails. And that is the reason why I waited on posting this with you because I wanted to make sure what I was getting was not long. I went to seven different nail techs, including my original , who unfortunately couldn't do my nails because her shop is under construction. And they all told me that my nails were short like extremely short so I shouldn't have been charged for long nails. We then measured my nails from cuticle to tip, and they are extremely shorter than 1 inch. They don't even reach 1 inch in length. All nail techs told me that I should have been charged for a regular set short .. that I should have not been charged for a long set because these are not long nails and honestly, that is the reason why I will not be going back to this place. I could only imagine what I would be charged if I had decided to get medium nails or long nails. $75 for nails of this length which they consider to be long nails. Like I said, my problem wasn't with Kevin. It was just the way they charge for the services and I thought that was really messed up. Terrible place! I just moved near by and trying to find the nail salon. Although, yelp reviews were bad I want to give a shot and it was bad decision. The guy who did my manicure is rude and talk to me like I'm begging for free service. Everything about this experience was great, until the end. Let me explain: I stopped by Lee Spa Nails at the Dos Lagos Shopping Center after visiting their neighbor for a facial. I was in desperate need of a pedicure since my previous gel toe nails had outgrown themselves. Luckily, they took walk-ins, and I was able to browse through colors for about 20 minutes before taking my seat. They had a wide selection of gels, and I ended up going with a blue/purple for July 4th. The girl who did my nails was fantastic and managed to transform my ugly step-sister toe nails into Cinderella in under an hour! When I approached the counter to pay my bill this basic gel pedicure came out to $40. Not cheap, but pretty average. My trip went sideways when I asked if there were ways to tip other than cash - including card, Venmo, etc. It's 2019, who carries cash on them? The woman at the front desk was a bit abrasive, said no, and then told me to purchase something from Trader Joe's a few doors down for cash. When she slid my card and receipt back to me it had a spot to write in a tip. I was a bit confused, so I asked if I was able to add a tip to the receipt. She replied 'fine.' - so what changed? This obviously rubbed me the wrong way. They have been asking customers to go down the street to Trader Joe's to pull out cash, even though they have the capability to take a tip through card? I've heard rumors of other businesses doing this in order to avoid claiming their tips on taxes, and I honestly can't think of another reasonable explanation. I left feeling confused and full of bad vibes. I always believe in tipping for good service, and am so glad my service was fantastic, but sadly I don't think I'll be a future customer. read more

The fill itself is all right, a little sloppier than I'm used to and $6 more than where I normally go but that was fine too. What's awful here is the service. My nail tech never even said hello to me, just started working on my hands while on speaker phone with a medical office scheduling an appointment. When she got off the phone she continued to work in silence, not so much as giving me eye contact, but frequently spoke to the other nail techs. I found her to be incredibly rude.
