I always hate bashing local businesses. But I've given this business multiple chances and they have failed me every single time. Five years ago, I got an infected toe from unsterilized equipment!!! gross I know. Two years ago I went and had the them do my nails just a powder dip by my second visit. He kept filing my real fingernails down to the skin where I had to pull back my hand continuously because of the pain was unbearable. I left without my nails being finished and it took about a 6 month for my nails to regain their strength and grow out. I have never ever had a nail experience like this. And now it brings me to the present day. I was in a hurry and being that they're local. I figured I'd go in and get a quick under arm wax before my birthday!!!! I GOT RINGWORM ON MY UNDERARMS!!!!! Very welcoming and right when you walk in they help you very quickly! The guy who did my pedicurwas sooo funny and nice! A very friendly experience. The team is so big on cleaning. They were ready to close their doors ( 5pm) but I asked if they had time, and the girl who was about to walk out, car keys in her hand sat back down and helped me. Took her time, didn't rush. Prices are reasonable and they have great personalities. Most nail places, the people are rude and act like they don't need your business. Not the case here. This used to be my favorite nail spot in Corona. I always get the dip powder for my nails and it lasts a minimum of 4 weeks. I had a nail fall off after the 3rd day. So so disappointing. I was able to go back and have Tommy fix it. Then a couple days after that, on another nail, the dip started lifting. It has not even been 2 weeks and a total of 3 nails are broken. $50 plus tip down the drain. read more

Older woman who did my pedicure caused me to wince in pain four different times. When I cried out "stop!" The fifth time she finally took it easier. I generally have a high tolerance for pain, so it takes a lot to make me yelp. They may have compensated for a higher level treatment plan, but no one--especially the woman herself--ever offered an apology. The salon is local but I won't return. read more

I will be filing a complaint with the health board and Osha due to the fear of infection. I came in for a standard pedicure, nothing extra just a polish and basic pedicure. For whatever reason the nail technician decided to cut the skin in-between next to my pinky toe without asking and cut me so deeply I screamed! I told her to stop cutting whatever she was cutting and left the skin hanging on because it hurt too much to continue to cutting. My toenails were cut unevenly and not straight, very jagged, she cut my right big toe so short it doesn't match any of the other toes.This is what I get for not going to my usual place. No apology mind you, when I asked for change from my $40 she gave me $5's, I asked for additional change because forgive me lady you did not earn a $5 tip, no tip at all actually. I will be keeping an eye on my toe and hope it doesn't get an infection, beware ladies......this place is just not worth trying to save a buck or two. LESSON LEARNED! read more

First timer at this salon. Cherry poppin action going down!!! I enjoy trying different nail salons because everyone is different on customer services, cleanliness and nail care. It's sad that most salons the staff seem rude and like they are talking bad about you in their language. But not at Citi Nails & Spa. There wasn't side conversations in another language and eye rolling going on. Everyone was nice and friendly. My nail lady was very kind even though is had some scary looking I shaved legs LOL she was sweet and I didn't feel like she was judging me for only shaving my legs once a week haha Anyway super nice lady but sadly I can't pronounce her name. It's a short name and I couldn't understand it. She is Asian, petite lady and has a really pretty hair color (it's red like a natural redhead color), she has long eyelashes and smiles a lot. I would definitely recommend her if you see her! She does good work and was personable. She asked some questions but not too many to where it's annoying like some do. Plus her massage was on point!!! Like perfect amount of pressure and it was relaxing. So my review is based on her service mostly and I give her 5 stars!! I was very disappointed. I have been to many nail salons in the area and I have never had to pay for them to cut my nails down for a fill. (this was only a trim, actually). They charge $5 to trim your nails $5 to take the polish off. When they applied the new gel polish it was thick and goopy leaving bumps and rolls on my nails . I switched to this salon after my manicurist left my last salon and all the other girls left my nails looking pretty bad. I feel like they're priced similarly to other salons in the area. For a fill with gel polish I pay $35, which is exactly what I paid at my old place. If you want an accent nail or any nail art it's not that much more. It's clean and there's hardly ever a wait. I'll call a couple hours before I want to go in on a weekend and I never had trouble getting an appointment around the time I want. My manicurist is Vince and he's awesome. He's done stiletto and short coffin shapes for me (most people don't like those styles but he can do square and oval well too as I've seen them on other clients). He also does duo chrome for an affordable price. His work is great...the acrylic is smooth and even and thin and water doesn't get underneath and mess up your natural nails. The only issue is the gel color collection may not have the exact color you want. There's a lot of soft shades, reds, and some brights. It should work for most but if you had a very specific color in mind that you saw on someone else or Pinterest you may be disappointed. Overall I love this salon and would highly recommend it. read more

I found a picture on THEIR yelp (not even like I brought a picture from somewhere else) and what I got looked like nothing CLOSE to what the picture looked like. It looked like a 5 year old did it. Terrible. Also, my nail BROKE 2 days later and two other nails got chips (and it was gel) within 3 days. The pedicure was also rushed (even though I paid for a more expensive one). I asked if she could remove the nail polish around my nails. She seemed Very rushed & irritated.
