A little understaffed. Her name escapes me but the young blond lady is great, very knowledgeable and helpful.

I literally hate going to this courtesy change they treat people so terrible. They should close…read morethis down or get better workers. I was coming to cash my first check when I turned 16 years old I was working at a summer day camp job with kids. They wanted to call and confirm the check they wanted my ID. They told me to go back get my ID. I went back home 3 miles away and then she told me I needed my Social Security card and some other paperwork when I asked her all the stuff that I would need. And then my mom tried cashing a Amazon check. They gave her attitude and they did not want to do it so we just took that to another bank and they told me they cannot cash my $700 check but luckily it was made out to Chase anyway so I just took it down the street to Chase and a cashed it for free with no problems. Either get better workers, but I will be calling up there tomorrow I do not recommend going here if you want your day to be ruined and it's always the two single girls up in there with they're nasty attitude that they could've left at home you bitches got the right one

No one working here currently cares about anything, they give you attitude when you ask questions…read more When you ask a question they will just give you a one word answer with no explanations, it's like you have to really dig to get some sort of answer out of them. Just plain rude and unprofessional. I don't know who hires people that don't want to work and treat other people like crap. Always a demeaning and degrading tone in their voice. Seriously, relax. You work at a currency exchange. Don't act like you're more than you are.

They are scum of the Earth who, apparently, sue random people just to waste their time. I had never…read moreeven had any dealings with this shady currency exchange place, and yet I was sued by them. Why? Because someone stole my checkbook, slapped a random (probably made-up) signature on the blank checks, and cashed them. Instead of going after whoever cashed my stolen blank checks, they went after me -- the victim of a checkbook theft. Yes, one day, I got served court papers that said I am getting sued by this currency exchange place I had never even heard of before. I tried to settle the matter by explaining to the plaintiff and their attorney that the check in question had been stolen, and I even offered to show them my ID with my real signature so that they could see that the signature on the cashed check does not belong to me, but they refused. They had THE AUDACITY to demand that I drive to Chicago from a different state to get the police report I had filed regarding the checkbook theft: apparently, the only way to get a copy of the police report (which they did not give me when I filed it for some reason) is to physically go to CPD headquarters, which was a problem given that I do not live in Illinois and that I work 80+ hrs a week. Then, they demanded that a trial (yes, somehow it actually almost went to trial) be held in person. Eventually, the case was dismissed, but I had to waste a ton of time on this, even though all of this could have been easily cleared up in a more efficient manner. When I said they should compensate me for the time that they wasted, they had the audacity to tell me I am not entitled to any compensation. I guess they think they are entitled to wasting my time, though. I do scientific research 80+ hours a week, so I do not have any time to waste, and I am extremely annoyed by this circus. I did nothing wrong whatsoever, and they wasted my time with an absurd frivolous lawsuit anyway! As of this moment, they did not even apologize, and I do not expect they ever will.

So I am driving into work, listening to the Serial Killers podcast on Spotify and discovered that…read moremy city window sticker was expired. I had no idea that it had expired at the end of Jan 2025 and here we are at the end of February. Good news is I did not get any tickets between the end of Jan and today. Even better news is that this currency exchange was close enough so I could get there on my lunch break. The woman behind the bulletproof glass was very friendly and very fast in taking care of me. It actually took me more time to drive over and back to work than it took to get the new sticker. So for me this was a five start experience: fast and friendly and no ticket. Nice thing about the location was that there was a parking lot, so I didn't have to deal with street parking, although there seemed to be plenty around.

6756 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634 No wonder this place…read morehas low rating. The only good thing about it was location. I have gone here several times to use their services & customer service of staff ranges from poor to fair depending who is working. Today, was the final insult & I will never use this location again. Used their western union services & the woman working there was rude from the start. Instead of doing her job & providing helpful info, she made rude comments like " its very expensive" instead of just providing cost. Also asking where my mother is from. She also made a statement that I was using my mother to send money when I was helping send money for her sister's funeral. She refused to provide her name or name of her manager, so she obviously knew she was in the wrong. Is basic customer service skills & courtesy too much to ask for?
