That's where Walt's really shines -- long after the posted hours, they open the space to all sorts of local hobby groups. I've been there with a rocket club in the back room, RC cars going on the track, and yet another group up front, meeting in the actual hobby shop part. The staff is super-friendly, and willing to help out and offer suggestions for whatever kind of project you want to take on. If you need hobby stuff, this is a great place to go in the Syracuse area.

There was a display layout running by the door and it was fun to watch a Big Boy snake through the layout with a long train. Note that they don't have any wooden (Brio/Thomas) trains in stock, though they did have some O gauge Thomas train sets. Since I didn't have a list of things I needed, I was most just browsing. The owner was very pleasant as I rattled off a list of one-off items and helped me locate what I was looking for. We discussed custom runs for a bit, as well as the the future of the hobby. He clearly knew his stuff, and watching him assist some new modelers with simple, direct answers without an up-sell attached was refreshing. There is a dearth of good full-service hobby shops these days, and yet this one manages to rise above. I highly recommend it.

Now I've been to maybe a dozen tracks, but none compare to this place! There are dirt tracks with mud and water for that true off road experience, regular drift tracks, mini rc tracks, and they are expanding. The service area is extensive, and they have pretty much anything you'd need. I also loved the fact that they do repairs at a reasonable rate. The value of this place can't be beat, at $10 to drift as long as you want, it's the lowest I've encountered. The selection of tracks and experiences can't be beat, and we had a really good time the three hours we spent there!

Underground rc is llocated in a huge mall so if you bring someone with you who doesn't rc there will be plenty for them to do. But back to Underground rc. What an awesome place. They have every kind of rc track you would want. Off roar ,miniz-z, dirt oval and they even have an rc drift track for guys like me who slide. I went on a Wednesday afternoon so it wasn't busy at all. The only charge 10 dollars for all day to drift so it's a great price. They also have a full hobby shop on-site they do everyhing rc good time great place. Only complaint I have is the track was really dusty but beside that it's a 5star place.

was hired for my mothers residential property to simply untangle her (40ft) flag pole. they brought…read morea tall ladder and 2 men. they were at her property for 30 min or less and they charged us for "four hours" or labor. when questioned they said that had came out earlier in the morning (nobody was there and flag is not accessible or visible from anywhere other than the backyard itself) - and then added "drive time" to and from their shop that is a 10 min drive... apparently that equals out to be 4 hours. we have camera footage showing when they came and left. my mom was verbally quoted "about 40-60$) and got a bill for almost $300. All their answer was is "you clearly don't know how running a business works" . DO NOT recommend. save your money and put up your own ladder!

The cancelation was done with no notice or apology - the only reason I noticed was because I saw it pop up in my PayPal account. I am a reasonable customer and would have understood a cancelation back in February or March. This would have given me a chance to lock in an order through alternative means; however, I really have no choices now as the booster boxes are impossible to find at the prices they were back in February and March. Very disappointed and would highly recommend anyone thinking about ordering from them to not - especially if the product is a preorder!

I didn't want her to get in trouble. She gave a dirty look, looked at another customer, and asked me in a rude tone if I'm not getting my items. I told her I am getting my items, and just reminding her she hadn't charged me for them. She looked at another customer and began laughing in my face. Then she very rudely told me that she always puts items in the bag before charging. I apologized because I didn't know and she rolled her eyes at me ignoring me. She proceeded to keep side-eyeing the other customer and smirking like as if she were judging me.
