Customer Service is terrible. With michaels taking over the fabric from the joanne stores this adds a new clientele. These women stood at the cutting counter at joanne's and figured down to the very last inch.How much fabric they needed to make the quilt or other craft?They were going to make. Upon going into Michael's and selecting our fabric, we then had to go into the framing department ring a bell, and a tall gray-haired man came out, acted like we were a complete inconvenience. He asked how much do you want. He was rude. So my mother stood there, figuring in her head. How many yards and inches she needed of this February? And he stood there and had the nerve to say to her, well.Now you're just splitting hairs.How much do you need. Then, they take the fabric in the back. Cut it and tell you to go find something to do. We wandered the store.Went back to the picture frame.Encounter, and here's fabric folded sitting there with a piece of paper. I have news for you, michaels, if you're going to have fabric get a cutting counter because these people that are doing these intricate crafts, want to watch you cut the fabric. Train your employees on customer service.How to cut fabric and how to understand the quilting mind?There's a lot of meth that goes into it.You don't rush them, you don't treat them like garbage.If you are not going to treat people correctly, why would you add joanne's to your store? I hope you take what i'm saying seriously and make some changes quickly.Because these people, including my mother, have already started their christmas fabric shopping to make quilts.Place maths, napkins and everything else under the sun that you could possibly make with fabric. Balloons were ordered for a party and an email was received that the order was ready for pick up. When trying to pick up the order, learned it was in fact not ready. Went back 30 minutes later to pick up and was advised that the pack of balloons was not blown up and would cost extra. This was an online order and no where when you check out does it give the option to have the balloons blown up in store. Also, why wasn't this mentioned the first time around? The manager acted as if I was incompetent. It then took an additional 30 minutes to blow the balloons up. Not impressed by this service. read more

I made an account just to leave this review. Teri is the worst customer service rep I've ever worked with. She was so rude and did not help me with my return. She made little to no effort to offer assistance and didn't even try to see why the return wasn't working. Teri if you read this I hope you know you deeply hurt me and I will leave the store if I go again and you are working. read more

Annoyed because I waited a long time at custom framing counter, hit the assistance button several times and nobody responded, no workers around to ask for help when I finally went up to the front and found someone they said there's no custom framing today, would be nice if they put up a sign at that department so customers aren't standing around waiting, will go elsewhere for my framing. read more

Convenient location. Decent customer service. Snack prices are a tad higher than competitors but then again who comes to Michael's for snacks? Great selection of whatever you happen to be in the mood for crafts wise. I always like to peruse the aisles looking for gifts, ideas or both. Fun times! read more

Went into the store and couldn't find anyone to ask for help searching for a product. Got in line the extremely long line and asked the cashier once I finally got up there if there was anyone who could help me mobile order my item since no employees seem to be available on the floor. She did not even apologize for the inconvenience and told me to just "use google". I mobile ordered and it took them almost 15 minutes to bring my product out after I called to check in and see when they would be out. Once again the employee did not even apologize for the wait. Avoid this store at all costs. They handled what I can understand is a difficult situation of internet going out so they could only accept cash, in the most unprofessional way possible. I spent over 30 minutes browsing for items, just to be told we are only accepting cash. No sign on the door, or anything of that matter. Was told they couldn't accept coupons anymore, but the coupon actually did work. What was the worst, was once I gathered from change in my car $20.49 I was short 40 cents. I was told I could not buy the item unless I had the exact change. In a situation like this, a manager in a difficult situation should accommodate you. I offered other creative solutions such as purchasing it online, but was told no. When complaining that the customer service was poor, I was told to leave the store and they "could not deal with this right now". This is simply not how you treat a customer. Corporate should re-evaluate this store and their customer service and get them training ASAP. I know I won't be visiting this establishment anytime again soon. read more
