While clearly, this is normal for owners and managers of this Ace Hardware store, they clearly have no idea of the Progressive clientele of this uptown area. The front of the store seemed like they were renovating a bit or moving displays around. They have a small area there in between the restrooms that is a single dog washing station! They seem to have a nice selection of different products, and had I not been in a rush, I would have loved to look around more.

They are so friendly, eager to help answer any of my questions... and some even confuse me lol. The store is very clean and organized I love that. I hate going to stores where things are in the wrong places because people are too lazy to put things back that they don't want. This store is on top of that for sure. The employees that work in the paint department are so awesome! They seriously love to help with any projects that you are doing when it comes to needing paint. Luckily, it's only a 10 minute drive on I-15 to come here. The store is always well organized and the staff helpful. On my last trip, I needed some shelving and it up on top of the shelves. The employee who helped me gladly went and got a cherry picker to get the shelving down saying that he needed to restock. It made me feel like less of an inconvenience.

M-One has all of the stuff that is inside the things that bring you water. Faucet parts, stems, handles, and parts of all varieties. While the common stuff can be found at the big boxes, M-One has, well, the "specialties." They have them in stock and at reasonable prices. Both important when you have the water off and the wife is waiting for the hot water in a shower. I think my favorite part is these guys don't talk down to you and respect the "do it yourself" nature of trying. They will explain how to do it, how to NOT break it, and what to watch out for during the project. All important aspects of a good plumbing job.

The first issue: Prices. To me, 10 grand is not a clearance price for an area rug. 7 grand is not a good price for a sectional. And the towels, OMG, you'll want them to have their own Hyperbaric chamber after you see these prices. Second issue: Very little color. If you like beige, off-white, gunmetal gray, vanilla, eggshell, ivory, etc., you'll feel at home. The founder Stephen Gordon must have been neglected Crayolas in his youth, as the options are minimal. However, I definitely recommend taking a roll through their excellent showroom. Steal some great ideas, and buy at IKEA.
