We bought a " brand new " dewalt back pack bug, yard sprayer. Full of water and moldy and the manager was an asshole. So rude saying " listen bud, I've been here long enough I know what I'm doing. " For the price of of it it wasn't worth it. Nasty moldy and stinky. Parts that were bent and and had moldy water, stinks so bad and the manager sucked. Acting like he paid for everything. Then made rude comments about how his workers " can't do shit right ". He was rude and the service was shit. Wouldn't recommend going to this Home Depot. read more

I've got mixed feelings on this review. I decided to try their delivery for a large order of lumber for my deck... over $2000. I placed the order on Saturday but the first delivery available was Wednesday. I figured that gave me time to prep the ground, dig holes and pour cement. When the delivery came, the driver pointed out 3 damaged pieces of trex. On Friday we poured cement and realized we we were missing 12 pieces of lumber. When I called I was told that they were out of stock, but would replace it with 2x8x16 instead of 2x6's, and scheduled irfor Monday. When nothing came Monday, I called and was told that the entire delivery had been bundled and delivered already. Update: Assistant manager Matt corrected the problem, delivered the missing lumber and voluntarily refunded the $100 delivery fee for the mistake. read more

This Home Depot is great! It is conveniently located near Target and seems to always have items in stock that are out of stock at the location closest to me. Luckily, it's only a 10 minute drive on I-15 to come here. The store is always well organized and the staff helpful. On my last trip, I needed some shelving and it up on top of the shelves. The employee who helped me gladly went and got a cherry picker to get the shelving down saying that he needed to restock. It made me feel like less of an inconvenience. read more

So as you know I've never been a fan of Home Depot, but now I'm officially done & will never return. Not only do they have the worst customer service ever (worse than Walmart) but the can't even get in store pick up right. It took me 30 minutes to pick up something that would have taken me 5 minutes if I had just got it myself... and they got it wrong. My family enjoys the monthly Home Depot kids workshop. The first Saturday of every month my kids and I hammer, glue, and paint little crafts. The store is always clean and the staff are friendly. It's a good home improvement store but it's not the best for everything. I recommend you do your online research and due diligence before arriving and asking an associate to solve your problems. Prices and options are okay at this smaller Home Depot but consider other stores in the area for specific needs. read more

While they didn't have any for sale the Home Depot associate blocked off the isle to enable him to take the lift to the top shelf to get the kits they do once a month. We had extra flooring that was ordered through no fault of our own. When we returned it there was some glitch or discrepancy and the amount owed us was incorrect. Enter manger Andrea. She was so patient and determined to figure out our issue. She eventually did and in the end everything was settled and cleared up. If you ever have any issues just as for Andrea. No one wants to help you out at all. They literally lost my order twice, kept transferring me to numbers to cooperate just so they wouldn't have to deal with it. They don't know how to schedule deliveries and often get it wrong. I have been super loyal to Home Depot, but I have to say after moving to Utah and visiting this Centerville location it's BY FAR the worst experience I have had & would not trust them with online or delivery services period. So unless you can walk out of the store with what you need that day, don't do ANY online orders Update 9/8/17 - I have now been trying to get my washer and dryer delivered for 4 WEEKS! They apparently forgot to call Maytag and have the items delivered to the delivery company. So I had to reschedule. Then I didn't receive a phone call of when they were planning on coming the next day, so I tried to scramble to get someone to my house to let them in, but they said they had to leave despite me telling them I have rescheduled this 3 different times. Now I'm on hold WAITING AGAIN to have this rescheduled. read more

Customer service is the worst! Went to the Centerville Home Depot looking for a pole sander attachment. I looked everywhere and couldn't find it. Found lots of hand-held sanders, but no pole attachment. Normally when I can't find something, I look on their website and it will tell you the isle and bay numbers. Unfortunately, I couldn't find it online. So I had to do the dreaded task of looking for help from a worker. I asked the guy sitting behind the paint counter and was on his phone. He told me to look where I had already been looking. I went back and looked hoping I had missed it. Still couldn't find it. Went back to the worker (still on his phone) and asked if he could take a second to show me. He skirted around the question and said I should go look around in the building supply area. Thanks for the help, buddy! I ended up finding it. They had stacked the shelves wrong and put an open box of the wrong product in front of the pole attachment sanders. The only asterisk would be the blonde cashier named chairstan expressing her political ideology and making remarks like "I'm gonna build a wall" in a very inconsiderate and crass demeanor. My boyfriend is Mexican and felt very uncomfortable when he heard those statements. I usually love coming here, I went to get paint with my mother and the male selling paint was very rude, and treated me like I was dumb. Not very impressed by this. They do usually have awesome employees, and are super easy to work with. Usually a pretty clean store for a warehouse type. "He laughed me out the door." This is was I was told by my Mom when she tearfully told me of her experience at the Centerville, UT Home Depot. I am NOT happy. She is a widow who is not in the best physical condition. She was left a large house and a yard that needs a lot of attention. She has a problem with her front lawn and a tree that are both going down hill every season. She has been fighting tooth and nail to save it herself. A lawn expert came and told her what she needed. He suggested she go to Home Depot and someone there be able to find the parts for her and show her how to put it together. What she needed were a couple pipes and fittings so she could attach a hose and push the pipe it into the ground so the water could penetrate below the clay surface. When she got there she spoke to a guy (I won't say gentlemen) who scoffed at her and said there is no way you can make something like that and no such things exists. He also said whoever told her they would help her assemble it is crazy. This is when she got a little emotional and said "He laughed me out the door." She said she was upset on the way home and just gave up on it. Who can blame her? You go from having a husband of 50 years that can do and fix everything, to nothing. Fending for yourself as your yard and house fall apart around you. She wants to do things on her own, but needs a little guidance. You would think the people at Home Deopt could answer her questions, because well you know...IT'S THEIR JOB?! Then this happens. From the sounds of it, the employee acted as if they didn't have things to build such a contraption, but it seems he for got he works a HOME DEPOT. The place where you buy the parts you need to build things. Ring a bell?! Even if it were impossible it doesn't call for being a jerk to a little lady. There are many ways to tell someone 'sorry, we can't help' without literally laughing in their face. I wish I knew who it was because I'd go down there myself. BTW, my husband and I just bought a house that needs all new appliances, kitchen and flooring and other random stuff and fencing. About $20,000 that we priced out for items we wanted and needed from this Home Depot. We have everything picked out and we're closing on our house next week. We WILL be taking our business to someone who deserves it. And devices like my Mom was looking for do exist. You need to retrain your employees or hire ones that know what a Home Depot is for. read more

I am always treated well here and much better than how Lowe's treat me. My only complaint is it is so hard to get someone to help you that knows how to cut blinds correctly. Bought a water heater a couple years back from them and it failed recently so I took it back because it was under warranty and they gave me store credit for it because the model I wanted they didn't carry anymore. That was strike one. Then I want to buy a little giant ladder but they don't carry those in store anymore either, but they said they did on the website so I went to buy it online. Sadly, the online store won't take store credit. Strike two. So I called the manager and asked if they could order it in or if I could swap it for a gift card like the online people told me to do. He said no and said there was no way for me to get my ladder using the store credit. Strike three, anyone want to buy a $350 gift card? The first time I called to talk to the manager they hung up on me so I had to call back. The guy I spoke with in lumber didn't even know what a little giant ladder was. *Sigh* Once a corporation gets to this size I suppose I should expect this. I hope the employees I spoke with will all get replaced by robots in the near future. Who needs them when they don't know anything and can only say no we can't do that. read more

I should have read their crappy reviews on their delivery of appliances. A quick google search will show you. Three guys show up to my house with my fridge and refused to install it. The valve to the ice line was missing but I turned off the main water valve so their should have been no issues. They refused to install it because this $1 valve is missing although the water had been shut off. Instead, they set up an appointment for a plumber to come out a week later. One delivery guy was more focused on charging his phone. First thing he does when he walks in is ask me for a charger. I was ok with lending him one but that became his focus. We went to Home Depot to complain that night, it was useless. They said it was not their issue since the fridge was delivered by a third party. We were suppose to get contacted by someone from that company but haven't heard from anyone. So here we are, without a fridge in the home and a new fridge sitting in the garage. read more

I have always been a fan of Home Depot. It is right next to my favorite store (Target), so I can get everything I need to survive. The pricing is good and they seem to have a good staff. I go fairly often and get a less then attentive customer service experience about the 20% of the time, but I expect this at stores this large. Lousy customer service. Purchased a washer and dryer from them. Delivered as promised...so far so good. Had to had a plumber fix a handle on the cold water faucet before installing. Had an appointment to have that fixed and installed. The first appointment was canceled by the plumber. Not ideal but ok. Rescheduled for the weekend. Could not find parking up by the University during the day. He said he would come by in the evening. My wife and I were waiting when we received notification we had canceled the appointment per the plumber (Umm no we didnt, we were waiting). From that point it was all downhill. He said he could come by the next day to install the washer and dryer. No response as expected. By that time we were done. We call the appliance manager MIKE, to which he said we deliver but we dont pick up returns, sorry have a good day. What a load of BS. Finally through the customer service line, I contacted to the store manage to which he agreed to have the return picked up. Will update to see if that happens. Lousy service by the appliance manager MIKE and home depot appears to contract with anyone (in this case the plumber) without properly vetting who is representing them. Received the absolute worst customer service by manager Matt Michel. I was more upset by his attitude and indifference to correcting the problem than the problem itself. I buy a lot from Home Depot and generally get excellent customer service at almost all HD stores. Reading the other reviews on this site sounds like they need a major overhaul of management training at this location. I had the worst experience buying flooring here. We wanted to change from carpet because we have a dog and the floor specialist talked me out of tile to good a hard wood floor they advertised as pet proof with a 50 year warranty ( might of been 30) but after we paid over 2000 dollars to have them out it in it turns out it isn't pet proof and the flooring became defective and we went back to them to Havee them fix it because it was still the same month. They sent a inspector out and they said it was because of our dog peeing which was the whole reason we got this floor and they said it isn't covered in the warranty and then I took the manager to the sign that says pet proof on the flooring and told them how they talked me out of tile which is what I went there for in the first place and they said we will see what they can do. They called me back a few days later saying they will repair the spots for 2000 dollars which is almost the same price it was when we bought it the first time and they also hurried and took the pet proof sign down on the flooring and acted like it was never there so as for getting flooring at homedepot I advice very strongly against it!!!
