These guys are scammers. Stay away. Wanted to get my AC serviced and they told me I needed a whole new unit. Then proceeded to try and sell me one for 25k?!? Red flags obviously, told me my unit didn't work anymore. Had another company come out and they found that not only was my unit fine and just needed a tune up and coolant, but the power was pulled and that's why they told us it didn't work. Looking through the comments this isn't the first time this type of thing has happened apparently. This company should be looked into and NEVER used by anyone. Something that cost a few hundred dollars and they wanted 25k?!? Either their workers are liars or don't know what they're doing, either way I wouldn't want to give them my hard earned money. On June 27th our 3 ton air conditioning unit finally gave out. We called our house warranty company and they said they wouldn't be able to have someone come out until Wednesday so we decided to call Lee's and they promptly came the same day and gave us an estimate on what it cost to repair. We would like to complement the service man Orlando for giving us excellent service he was honest knowledgeable and the job only took an hour and a half. I highly recommend this company I can honestly say we've never gotten better service in the last 20 years here in Clovis. read more

As a long time customer we were extremely disappointed with the LIES from the tech. and supervisor. Heater not working after 1 week prior a Lee's tech serviced it with no problems. New Lee's tech. came out and advised we needed a Heater exchange, gas valve and motor. BUT, could still not confirm what the problem was. Tech. took photos of heater exchange and showed me. He said the pipes were cracking and he could feel them. I went on roof but he could not take off panel as he said, to show me. Photos do not show cracking. Ridiculous. Sup. came out and agreed but tried to sell me a brand new unit at either 30K electric or 16k gas. WHY? My unit is only 9 years old. Tech. did something to the unit and fixed heater but still could not tell me what he did. BUT, said we need a new unit. I had a 30 yr journeyman come out for 2nd opinion. Stated nothing was wrong with heater exchange or valve or motor. Crazy, how a company employee will straight out lie just to get business. And the sup. Also, was gonna charge me $6500 for install of exchange. That's about $1000.00 per hour. I guess that's what the going rate is??ha read more

Lee's was of ZERO help because I am not the home owner. My mother-in-law is in her 80s and is at the hospital where my father-in-law is terminally ill. The fan on the forced air unit has been running for 3 days and my mother-in-law is unable to take care of the issue. As the son-in-law, I assured my mother-in-law I would take care of the fan issue. But I'll have to find a different company to help because Lee's will not schedule a technician to come out because I'm not the home owner. Thanks for nothing! read more

Gouging prices! They have late hours support and we're the only company that could come out at 7pm when we spotted a broken pipe. The person who came out to gave the quote was very nice and charming a great sales man. In 20 secs without measuring he gave a quote for 20k for a "permanent fix" the non permanent fix would be close to $5900. I also had him look at a few clients which I had already suspected needing new seals. Both toilets are only 3 years old and he said one toilet needed be to fully replaced and the other toilet needed a new seal and would be $500. I kindly declined the extras and all of a sudden they would be thrown in complementary. That seemed unusual to me... I as I do appreciate a deal how can something that cost $500 all of a sudden be free. He was able to call and book someone to come out early the following morning and get started. This is how I think they get you, your in distressed worried about your home and they can have someone fix it right away. Of course your going to give in and open a credit card to get this service taking care of. We immediately called other plumbers to come the next morning for an estimate... out other quotes are as low as $2000 for everything. And these are reputable companies who are transparent. Some even said... let me guess.. LEE's is who gave you the high quote. I feel as a woman I was taking advantage of thinking I wouldn't catch on to the smoke and mirrors and giving in the area and we'll taken care of house we had assumed we were rich and would easily give up the cash. Even if I was rich I'd still compare quotes. Now all of that is just presumption and can very well not be true. But what is true is that a quote for $6200-$20000.00 easily went down to $2000.00 with other local companies that have been in the industry for years. My advice.. get multiple quotes. read more

Do not Lee's air!!! They will take try to advantage of you are only interested in selling and overcharging for new units. The technician quoted me a $15,0000 + repair giving me no other option except a costly repair or purchasing a base unit at approximately $24,000. I didn't feel comfortable with 2 costly options and reached out to family and friends and was able to fix the issue for under $100. It was a simple repair. Shame on you Lee's read more

Took advantage of the $99 service. This was late last summer but just never got around to writing a review. Technician was on time (came around 9:30/10:00) and was there ALL DAY. Literally until a bit after 5:00 as I told him I had to leave for dinner. Was in the attic for most of that time and then probably spent an hour putting together a quote (after I had already paid the $99). Then proceeds to give me an $8000 quote for repairs on a 20 year old unit. I literally told him he had lost his mind. Another company came out and said I just had a leak and needed coolant. I'm also convinced that he purposefully damaged ductwork/insulation. He showed me photos but I had just had the house inspected that same month and had photos from that. I even texted the inspector and she said it defiantly didn't look like that when she inspected. I wish I had gone up into the attic with him. So I think the $99 service is just a scam to get them in the door and give you an outrageous quote for something you don't need. And I know the company is going to say there is not a "tare" in your system. That is obviously not my name but I have no reason to make up a story. I'm just warning others to get additional quotes before being pressured into something and to watch the technicians when they are there. read more

First I want to say that my contractor, Alex Garcia, was great. I felt very good about his honesty and integrity. But it was Lee's Plumbing pricing structure that why I am writing this review. I thought my toilet was leaking, so I called Lee's to schedule an appointment. Phoenix was very helpful and accommodating for my schedule. By the time Alex arrive I realiized my leak was in the angle stop and supply line. Alex agreeded with my assessment and gave me the estimate $753.53. I should have stopped there, but I thought he might have to repair the tank or other tasks I did not understand. He offered a 10% discount taking the total to $651.51. I showed Alex where the shut off valve for the house was and he shut the water off and replaced the angle stop and supply line. Then he turned the water back on and checked for leaks. The whole process took about an hour. Here's my issue. The parts at Home Depot cost less than $50. That means that Lee's Plumbing charged me $600 per hour for labor. Even if we hour up to 2 hours, the labor would be $300 per hour. Alex Garcia was great, but no plumber should charge $300-$600 per hour. Again the issue is Lee's Plumbing pricing structure, pricing per job, not by the hour. I guess I have learned my lesson and I will still be looking for a plumber I can trust. _______________________________________________________________________________ Update: Josue from Lee's Plumbing called, listened, and asked how Lee's make it right. I explained my issues were not with any of the people at Lee's (now including Josue.) My issues were with the pricing system. Again Josue asked how they could make it right. I explained that if I would have used another plumber, I would have paid $50 or less for parts and around $95 per hour for labor. Had the worst experience with lees air today. I had a broken pipe that just needed a cap, the technician said he couldn't do it with out fixing another issue I had that I've known about but it's not an emergency. All we needed was a cap (which after we were able to do on our own for $45 from Home Depot). He quoted me $3200 for work that wasn't necessary, then proceeded to threaten me and say he would call the city on us and have the city lock our water for us because we refused to do the work. Literally all I needed was a cap on a broken pipe. Waste of our time and money. He even went as far as to tell me that he didn't have to take the call cuz he's from out of town but he did. read more

Lee's was able to come out and inspect our water heater after a sudden failure overnight Sunday. Dustin Martinelli was our Service Technician and spent a fair amount of time diagnosing our issue and then attempting to source parts. Unfortunately, our heater is well over a decade and wasn't a major brand to start with, so we were stuck with needing a new unit. Dustin was able to throw a quote together quick at a reasonable price (nothing is free these days) and was able to coordinate the installation for the same day. He brought out Mike to help and bring parts and both of them got us back into hot water by about 7pm. Very happy with everyone who was involved and wouldn't hesitate to call Lee's again. read more

The technician said he found an issue with our AC system (which had been working just fine), but had trouble diagnosing the exact issue. He complained about being tired and asked if he could return the next morning at 8 AM. I agreed. He never showed up, and I was not contacted by anyone at Lee's. Shockingly poor service and I am left wondering why the technician fled the scene. I am in the process of having other AC companies come in to assess the damage done. read more

Negative 100 stars. Will never use them nor will ever refer anyone to them. Needed toilets check for clogged line. Tech came in and said we needed to replace the whole line that runs from my front yard to the bathroom. Was told my pipes were to old and needed replacing. Was given the option to replace for $4150 or not replace and just snake for $1800. Tech advised we could apply for credit account. I completed and was immediately told I was approved and was told I would be receiving loan information via email in the couple days. This was a Friday. We scheduled the work for the following morning. The came and completed the work. Next day I get a call from them asking how I would like to pay for the service. I advised I applied for the credit and was approved. The rep then said we don't see an application on file. 3 weeks later we are still dealing with them. Never told us we were denied, after we were told we were approved. We were never given the option to make a choice to chose the lower costing service. We NEVER would have agreed to do work we could not afford. Never ever using them or referring anyone. read more

I've spoken to Lee's office technicians several times over the past few years, when looking for plumbing or HVAC services. Although I had never had service from Lee's, I appreciated that the people on the phones were helpful and willing to offer recommendations. Today, on a Sunday, we had water leaking from the toilet during a wash cycle, and I decided to try and find service. Knowing that most companies will charge extra for it being a Sunday, wanting to find service quickly, and seeing that Lee's is open today, I scheduled an appointment. I was given a 3-5 appointment window, but the operator informed me that I would get a call if they could come earlier. That sounded promising for quick service. At 4:23, I got a call from our service technician, Brad, that they would be coming in something like 25-35 minutes. That was disappointing because I had been officially waiting around since three. But, it was still within the quoted window. The technicians arrived around 5:20/5:25, which was past the time Brad had told me, as well as the window quoted. Upon arrival, Brad questioned me to confirm this was a whole house issue. Not being overburdened with plumbing skills (hence my need to call a plumber), I reiterated what I had explained on the phone. Brad said that he already knew what the issue was and asked to see the drain clean out. He asked me to show where this was and explained it would be in the backyard. I asked if he was sure because I know we have a clean out in the front yard. He confirmed that I was correct on the placement of the clean out and explained, without coming in the house, and before looking at the clean out, I would need to get it snaked. He also backtracked and referenced grease as the problem, before repeating that it was a whole house issue. Brad was also coughing during our conversation, which made me uncomfortable with COVID currently resurgent in the area. I am relieved that the technicians did not come into my mom's house coughing (I had thought about asking if just the non-cougher could come in), but I just wasted a lot of time and money for a very quick conversation. The technicians were congenial and Brad did offer the names of a few companies that would perform the same service for a lot less money. As it is, I paid an extra charge for a plumber to come out on Sunday and wasted a lot of time and money with no real assessment or service rendered. I paid over $100 for the techs to come out, not look in the house, and chat for just a few minutes. At this price, it would have been cheaper for me to have missed work on a regular day and gone with a reasonably priced company that actually evaluated the job. So disappointed after my positive phone calls with the company, in the past. I know now that Lee's is not a company for me to do business with. After talking with my mom, I realized that I should not have paid when no services were rendered. (I'm on the autism spectrum and my mom says I'm very trusting). Because no services were rendered, I am asking that the money be returned to my bank account. UPDATE: The company issued a refund and is seeking to make the situation right. read more

Our air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night on the first day of a heat wave. I called Lee's Air at 7am, and the technician, Tom, came out within a few hours to diagnose and repair. My air conditioning was back up and running within 4 hours of calling them. Yay!! read more

Frank was great! He listened to what the problem and history of problem, as this is the third visit for same problem. He asked questions to learn as much as possible and then started testing- at the thermostat,on the roof. The thermostat was out of kilter and seemed to be the culprit. It was fixed and tested, tested, tested. Frank was very knowledgeable and I felt he really cared that my heater worked after he left. When he left, we had a contingency plan in place if the thermostat or heater were not cooperative! I was very grateful! read more

Listen to this: - Young, unprofessional coughing technicians arrived at our home 20 minutes after the appointment window closed. - Asked my daughter questions they ought to have known. - Examined nothing but informed my daughter that without any assessment they knew what the problem was. ( If they knew with just a conversation- please explain to me Why we weren't given an assessment over the phone?) - Wanted 500 dollars to snake the drain which which didn't include the extra 69 dollars we would have been charged because they came out on Sunday. - Because we can not afford that amount we had to tell them no at which point my daughter ( who has Asperger's and was handling this) paid them the 100.00 they demanded for coming late and not providing an assessment or any other service beyond chatting for a minute or two in the front yard. - Sobbing, my daughter came into the house and told me what had happened. -I call the company to demand a refund before coming on here to review. The very nice operator asks for the invoice number given. Ah! But they didn't give and invoice number. Just told her they would email it to her. Is this a joke?? A scam?? Can anyone explain to me why this company feels that a short conversation with them is worth this kind of money? I hate to say we need a refund because this doesn't feel like the kind of situation where a refund is in order as the services offered were not poor... they were nonexistent. I feel like we have been scammed or robbed. How can you charge someone for doing nothing ? I get how it may work in the company's favor to go to peoples homes , ask for such an exorbitant amount that homeowners decline, and yet still have to pay because techs came to the house. One could make a lot of money very quickly that way. But seriously. My daughter is sobbing. Nothing is resolved. So beyond wrong. You know. She went with these guys because she thought they were so nice and was taught yet another very hard life lesson. Shaking my head in disgust , An angry mother This company needs to return the money taken , apologize to my daughter, and possibly address these " techs".
