The first time we tried Thai Paradise was through Uber Eats. They have really good portions and are not too far from where we live. I think they're much better than a certain Thai restaurant that has locations in Annapolis and Severna Park (which is inconsistent across the locations). Most recently we had their fried green beans which were an AMAZING appetizer, the sauce that comes with it is delightful. My hubby got the crab fried rice and I always get pad see ew. I am OBSESSED with the magic that is Thai Paradise. Located in Severna Park, this gem is known for their delicious carryout, and the food absolutely fantastic. Here's everything I got: Spicy Eggplant ($12.95): eggplant stir-fried with basil, onions, bell peppers, garlic & chillies. Easily one of the best eggplant dishes I've ever had. They were HUGE chunks, and they were cooked to absolute perfection. The texture kept SO well - I enjoyed it days after without it becoming mushy. Pad Prik Khing with pork ($13.95): stir fried with string beans, spicy curry paste, and black sauce! REALLY flavorful, and the meat was so tender. I absolutely loved this dish, and I would 100% get it again. Bangkok Noodles ($16.95): I LOVED this dish! They say it's the "best of both worlds" because it's Pad Thai meets Drunken Noodles. I would have to agree because I'm a fan of both dishes, lol. You get shrimp & chicken & it's spicy! 10/10 recommend. Mango & sweet sticky rice ($7): oh so delicious but pretty standard! Next time I want to try their Thai coconut pudding Additional notes I found the pricing to be VERY reasonable, and portions were BIG. Got takeout from here on the suggestion of a friend who really likes Thai Paradise. Note that there is no sit down- they are takeout only. I ordered the massaman curry and fried tofu appetizer. I would use somewhere between "ok" to "good" to describe both dishes. I'm no Thai food expert, but the massaman felt like it was missing chili and something else, because it was sweeter than I'm used to and was a 0/10 heat level. OK....this time almost 3 years later...........Now I know for sure this restaurant changed ownership in the last 5 years!!! We ordered Thai Rice and Bangkok Noodles (again) tonight. Bangkok Noodle Dish honestly looked like mush ..........like it had been pulled from a big pot of stewed noodles/chicken saturated in sauce........I actually threw it out after maybe 6 bites. Been ordering from Thai Paradise on and off for 3 years. Unfortunately, I think the quality has slowly decreased. I ordered chicken basil fried rice with extra vegetables (very spicy) and chicken drunken noodles with extra vegetables (Thai spicy). The rise was mild spicy at best and had ALOT of rice with no extra vegetables. The drunken noodles were barely media spicy. The noodles were stuck together, and there were not extra vegetables from what I can tell. All the vegetables in both dishes were reheated and overcooked. Bummer. Looks like I am going to have to drive farther to look for decent Thai. read more

I am SO happy we found Thai paradise. We moved from an area with a lot of Thai food so were looking for a new go to spot and boy have we found it. Our favorites so far are the parang curry, pad see ew, and the Tom kha soup. The spring rolls are amazing too but really everything is delicious and super high quality. I'm the only one in my family who loves Thai food. So guess what I got on Mother's Day? Tried a new place due to the high reviews. Very pleased. I went with the classic pad Thai with chicken. Very well done and loved the option to add more things to it if desired. I went with mild spice which was perfect. Hubby got the spicy pepper beef. He got it very spicy which is just under the hottest level. He was insta-sweat. Lol. Poor guy. But he did like it. He loves the spice. Washed it down with mango and sticky rice. The service is excellent and they are always quick, kind, and efficient. Although they aren't a sit-down restaurant, the inside is very clean. We are thankful to have them in Severna Park! When we moved out of the city and into the 'burbs we had a check list for our house and one thing that should've been on that list was a great Thai place nearby. Fortunately we got lucky and live just minutes from Thai Paradise. Let's start with the most important part: dessert. Sticky rice and mango, when in season is my all time favorite dessert and Thai Paradise does an amazing job with theirs. I will admit it's hard not to start eating it immediately when it comes in the door and I won't lie, sometimes I do. We typically stick to the basics: Pad Thai and fired rice with Tom Kah soup. Everything we've tried on the menu is incredible and the portions and prices can't be beat. There is another Thai restaurant on Rt2 (we actually live closer to that one) and it's pretty good, but nothing we've had in the US compares to Thailand as closely as Thai Paradise. read more

A MUST GO! Red Curry with chicken is a 10/10! A perfect spice level, not too spicy yet not even close to bland. This summer I've made it a "quarantine quest" to try as many Thai Restaurants' red curries in the area, and many other restaurants have left me disappointed (4 to be exact). This restaurant is now tied at the top of my list with another in Ellicott City for Red Curry. Worth the hour there and back. 10/10 delicious! Even more in depth: From the picture and even at my first glance, I had doubts about the curry. I don't like curries that are too sweet, and normally the less red the curry looks usually corresponds with a sugary (what I likely believe to be too "Americanized") taste. My brother recommended this place recently, while we were staying in the Annapolis area for a long weekend and looking for great takeout Thai food. THE BEST FOOD!!! It may look like a hole in the wall, but let me tell you, nothing compares to their food and service. Every time we go to pick up our food, there are always people there also waiting for theirs! It stays so busy for a reason--THEY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING!!! Delicious!! We decided to give Thai paradise another shot because we found out they were under new management and they did not disappoint. My husband did not like it all but now he loves it. He thought it was dry and lacked flavor. The drunken noodles have the right amount of spice and it's loaded with veggies. The sticky rice with mango was delightful. We have ordered take out the last two weekends and will probably order it again this weekend. Unfortunately they do not deliever so be prepared to pickup or use door dash/ grub hub. Additionally, the wait is a little long on the weekend so expect your food to take 30 minutes. I don't mind because my dinner is always hot and tasty. Give it a shot! Bottom Line: A Thai take out place serving excellent Thai cuisine. I finally made it to Thai Paradise and it was great! I actually went to Thai Paradise to place my order and I had questions about the spiceness of the curries. The family member working the front was so sweet - she offered to have me try them all, and I did. What great customer service! All of the curries were really good but I liked the Red Curry the best even though it was a little spicier than I hoped. What I particularly loved about the Red Curry is how many veggies were in it! I also ordered the Pad See-Ew which my husband enjoyed. Next to try on my list is the Chicken Cashew Nut, Drunken Noodles, Steamed Thai Dumplings and Chicken Satay. I've heard from others that all of these dishes are very good. The family takes a few weeks off in the new year to travel to Thailand to spend time with family and source ingredients for the restaurant. I really respect that they close down their business to invest time in these other important activities. Thai Paradise is definitely my new go-to place for Thai in AACo. read more
