Even the coloring of the soup was a light tan, not the expected dark brown. The bread in the soup had more of a consistency of a slice of light bread than anything else. I love a good bowl of French Onion Soup and this is probably the worst I have ever had. If it wasn't for the watered down soup, I would have given them a higher rating, but the soup would not even get a score of 1 star.
