I didn't hire them, property next to me did. Workers are terrible. They were welding with no fore blankets/protection of any sort so my grass caught fire! I didn't see it till I got home. No one notified me the workers didn't apologize. Also while welding they burned holes in my car canopy, so now water gets in on my classic car. They were yelling at my husband, I have videos of them. Very unprofessional. They should not be hired by anyone. They set other people's properties on fire and don't say anything. Never got a sorry, they never mentioned it to me, and they even ruined my tarp. Becareful they will burn your whole property and say nothing about it read more

Lee's Fencing installed our vinyl gate. Jim, the owner, came to provide quote and do measurements. Price was good and they were able to schedule the install the following week. After the install, I was not happy to see that the gate had a 1 1/2 inch gap when closed. The workers indicated that it was not measured correctly. I spoke to Jim and he apologized and promised to make it right. They tried to convince me that attaching some vinyl rod will fix the problem. I don't think so! I told Jim they need to replace the gate with correct measurement or I will not pay final balance. Took another 2 weeks to reinstall but it got done. Probably time to retire Jim....or have someone else do the measurements. On a positive note, Jim was always accessible and communication was good. And the workers hauled away and cleaned up well. read more

I had a fence extension built on top of a block wall on November 2013, about 1 month later I noticed a portion of the wood fence extension was beginning to lean. I called Mr Lee and he came out only to tell me he didn't see the fence leaning and to see if their was something I could tighten!!! What I thought, me WTF. So I called him again and asked him to come out and look at the fence and he did, this time acknowledging that it was leaning. Soooo then after he came out I called him on the phone stated that I hired him because he was an expert (this is all his company does) and told him that I thought he did give me a fair price and that I had MUCH MORE work to be done at my property and all I was asking for was the work to be corrected so we could move forward..... WELL...... the response I got via voicemail was again him acknowledging the fence was leaning and that he only was guaranteeing that the fence would not fall over and that if I wanted to sue him I could and he was washing his hands of this job!!!! What are you kidding me .....its leaning I did not spend good money for something to be made wrong!! SO upset about the whole thing, and its a damn shame people have such poor ethics, and poor business practices. (Why am I writing this now....cause its getting worse and I have to get it fixed or pay another someone to tear it down and build it again!!) read more

Metal frame gate with redwood insert. The metal frame was powder coated. Within a few weeks of installation the powder coat started to crack and flake. In a few months the metal frame showed signs of rusting. The gate was so heavy that the post supporting it bowed and then the gate would not close. I contacted the salesman and the owner of the company. Both came out and refused to do anything for either of the problems. read more

A portion of my privacy fence leaned over during a wind storm. My neighbor who shares this fence suggested this outfit because the owner lived across the street from them. He came and gave us an estimate to place 4 support posts in the ground to support the fence. When the crew arrived they gained access to the fence from my neighbors yard. They dug 2 holes and placed 2 galvanized posts about 3 feet tall and screwed them to the fence. They were in and out within 25 minutes according to my neighbor and charged us $300. Don't ever use this company EVER! If I had known what he was planning on doing I'd have done it myself. We found out later from another past customer that he tends to overcharge compared to other fence companies. read more

No problem with this company, really. They answer the phone, come out when they say, and I was happy that they fit me in on a fairly small job. It is a father and son business. Only issue was they bumped the price up from the original phone quote but they were still less than the only other company that actually gave me a firm bid. I didn't have any fancy construction just a basic dogeared fence and they also had to construct a gate, using historic hardware and done with the materials that I requested. Their crew did a good job on the cleanup also. Also nice that they take credit cards. BTW they do have an active license, look for the company in Signal Hill, not Long Beach. read more

Lee's Fencing put up a 60' vinyl fence in my backyard. They had to deal with large Cypress and ficus trees and never once complained. Their estimate was fair and they finished before lunch. I would definitely recommend them. The crew is awesome! I hope I will need them again someday! read more

Do not use this company for any reason. Shoddy materials and disgusting workmanship. They do not provide quality work and every time we asked Jim to come back it was as if he was blind to the crappy job his workers had done. His own workers told us that he did not provide them with the necessary tools to finish the cement work. The gate had numerous staples in it, but they were too lazy to remove them. The gate was tongue n groove, but these guys didn't even know how to line it up... Unbelievable!!! They also did not know how to clean up after themselves. BTW if you keep calling him out to fix the job he will deny that there is anything wrong and slap a lien on your property. He bullied us into paying. Furthermore he has a suspended license... Shame on me for not checking with the State Board of Contractors. Once again do not trust this company!!! Wish Yelp had negative stars... read more
