I went to pick up ring to discover diamond was no longer set in original opening but in a new mount that set above the band. The new mounting allowed for another stone to be used to replace my original diamond. Mr. Jimmy became rude and agitated when I questioned him about the ring. Solid place. Fair premiums. No BS…read more I walked in with $450 to spend on silver. Told them straight up what I had. They did the math, gave me options, and let me choose. Ended up with mostly 1 oz rounds and a couple smaller pieces. Easy process. The transaction was smooth and honest. They actually talk to you and make you feel welcome, not rushed or pressured. If you're new to silver and gold, they explain things without talking down to you. Sometimes the lines are long but that only proves that these guy are exceptionally awesome . I called other coin shops before going here. One wanted $8 premium on rounds and $10 on Silver Eagles -- straight ripoff. These guys were a lot more fair and resealable. I asked them their premiums up front and they told me straight up $1.50 on rounds and $3.50 to $4.50 on Silver Eagles cant remember. At the time, silver spot was around $80-$81. And change. Even though this place isn't the closest to my house, I'll drive out of my way to come here. Worth it. Good experience, good people, fair prices. I'll be back. I stopped by with my girlfriend to look at rings, and when we walked in, she did not feel comfortable and didn't want to stay. After I had exchanged a few words with the salesman, I too did not feel comfortable nor wish to continue the interaction. Another customer walked in, and after a brief moment, the salesman excused himself to go address the new customer. My girlfriend and I took that opportunity to gracefully exit and try to do so discreetly. This is when I realized we were locked in the store. The salesman had a key-fob that unlocked the door when a customer rang the doorbell, and in order to leave, he had to be the one to let you out. Unfortunately, I had to get the salesman's attention in order to leave. He asked if we were done talking with him, and after my "yes", he said, "well, before I let you out, do you want to come over here and get a business card?" Immediately, I felt trapped inside this store, wanting to leave gracefully and discreetly, but I couldn't. Let me be clear. I do not appreciate being locked in a store and not being able to protect my woman (even by simply leaving the building) when she feels uncomfortable or threatened. I have absolutely no intention of returning. I will add, before we went to this place, we went to Duffy's Jewelry, and had an absolute 10/10 great experience. They were very pleasant, professional, and extremely kind and knowledgeable. We took his suggestion for the bezel design to hold the stones, so I included the process pictures for you to compare. He worked on it for over 5 weeks when originally quoted less than a week, because we told him the design was bad, and he tried to fix it. I dislike my own wedding ring now, and this experience was upsetting.
