This is my first yelp review I have been going to this place for about 2 years however this past year it has changed so much today is my last day going. I have always loved getting unique designs on my toes and I have been able to get that here and I would get tons of complaints but recently prices have gone up the girls have changed. Last time I went I wanted a gel manicure and pedicure I got my pedicure (not with design I liked ) but had to wait for the manicure as in the past I would get both at the same time and I guess only special customers get that attention. After waiting half an hour I just asked to pay for my pedicure and they wanted me to make an appt for my manicure. Wow. Today I went for a pedicure the lady with a purple top (didn't get her name) was so rude she would hit my foot when I was suppose to move it and when she was moving around she put her weight on my feet to help her :/ I had a picture/idea I wanted on my toes when I showed her she just shook her head and said no didn't offer to do a different design or someone else till after she painted all my toes and saw I was bothered . I have given this place a few chances because one of my friends love this place but I feel like only certain people get treated nice.. I will NOT go again. read more

Always accommodating with the schedule and getting me in last minute etc.. friendly staff and good prices although there's one guy who boisterously sings and jokes in another language and it often feels awkward not knowing what they're joking about. I come over from Burbank because I work in their neighborhood. My gel manicure has always lasted 2.5 to 3 weeks. They do a good job. However, yesterday I was so disgusted with the filthy light the girl put out for me to put my hands in. I told her it was too dirty but she said something like "it's the nail polish that came off of others and was stuck on it" but it was more than that. The outside was covered with dust and lotion smears. The inside was all crusty from polish and full of residue. I did my best to avoid touching anything inside it as I put my hands in and out but I was very uncomfortable. I still tipped her generously as always because I know they work hard but the next time I make an appointment and they ask me who I want my appointment with I will say, "anyone but Kim". read more

Went and got a mani pedi on my lunch break and ended up only getting a pedi...Two of the male employees were to busy playing Scramble on their phone (it was on loud and they could carless if everyone could hear that annoying noise) and the two other ladies were sitting with their feet up reading magazines. So unprofessional and I will NEVER go back! Save yourself the time and go to another nail salon. After I was done with my pedicure they asked if I still wanted a mainicure...I said yes thats why I came in on my lunch break but I can't get one now ...I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE SALON!!! read more

This place is a hit or miss. It seems they hire just anyone off the street and have them get their permits/license some how without having ANY knowledge of what they're doing. Don't get me wrong, the staff are super friendly and welcoming. They are well over staffed so you never have to wait long if your a wallk-in. However, they are over priced and the quality of work is poor. Again, it all depends on who you get, hence the hit or miss comment. I strongly recommend you DO NOT let Mike do your mani and/or pedi because he does a horrible job. I went in a week and a half ago for a mani and pedi. Mike did my pedi. He left my nails uneven, he cut my toe attempting to remove an "in grown nail" which i didn't have and not even a week later my nail color was chipping off. This seems to happen with this nail salon if you get regular nail polish. Nice guy but, poor end results. Tuy also does a mediocre mani/pedi but, better than Mike. There is a young lady there with glasses and shoulder length hair, usually in a low ponytail, she knows what she is doing. Ive never gotten her name because she never wears her name tag the times ive been there. To make a long story short, go to this place if you are in a time crunch, have no where else to go or you need a last minute mani/pedi ASAP. read more

Worst experience. I've been there before and this time was terrible. I asked for natural powder with a clear polish coat (not gel), and when I asked to confirm the price she told me it was just polish, not gel (when I knew it was because she put my nails under the uv light). Coffin shape was what I asked for and only half are the right shape, and super thick. read more

OUCH!!! Came to this nail salon because my regular spot is a couple towns over and I wanted to give Lee's a shot since it's much closer. The interior is very nice and looks clean and well kept. But three of my toes were trimmed WAY to much on the sides and are sore to the point where I can't wear normal shoes. After the manicure the tips of my nails were rough and I had to come home and use a file to even them out. There is no way I'll be going back. read more

I got a gel manicure about a week ago and it peeled off from the edges and eventually came off. I called to make a pedicure appointment and also asked how long the gel was supposed to last and if this was normal. When I came in for the pedicure appointment they redid my gel manicure free of charge! It's very hard to find a nail salon with this great customer service!!! I'm so glad I found them! read more

I agree....best gel nail polish application I have ever gotten!!!! I don't remember his name, but the guy who did my nails was friendly, and he did an amazing job! The gel-manicure lasted an entire 2 weeks! HOWEVER, DO NOT get a bikini wax here... I have 2 go-to places in Arcadia (read my reviews), but since moving to Glendora I have been checking out local hair and nail places for haircuts, mani's-pedi's, and of course, GOOD bikini waxing. The woman who gave me my wax was unexperienced, and I have never been more irritated because the entire time the wax and cloth kept "catching" on my skin...anyone who knows about good waxing know this shouldn't happen! After several minutes of unnecessary pain, suffering and sweating, (not to mention poor hair removal) I had to show the lady what to do and how to wax! Can you believe it!? Needless to say I will travel the distance to my regular spots...and I have never had more ingrown hairs in my life... TMI...but now you know! read more

Been here a few times and always left satisfied. The salon is clean, had friendly staff and consistently does good work.

I've been here before, but tried to find a lower cost shop. Well you get what you pay for and now I am back! They do great work, they are clean and friendly and yes more expensive than the average, but honestly it's worth the extra money read more

I've been to Lee's nails a few times. This last time, I got a fill and pedicure. When I left the salon my fingers started itching. When I woke up in the morning, the sides of my nails were filled with puss. Went to the doctor and was told I had infections on every finger. I was put on antibiotics and had a fever due to the infections. Their instruments were obviously not clean. I went back to the salon to show them my nails. I was refunded the money I spent at the doctors and for my prescription but not for my pedicure. I will never give them business again. My infections took two weeks to improve. read more

I use to really likes this place but after my regular girl left I can't find anyone who is as good and caring as her. I actually had a girl slap my hand off my toes when I showed a nail that was not cut straight she said she would fix it and then puts polish on it. I showed her again and again she slaps my hand away. I have been going here over a year. Now I will have to find a new place. It's not as clean as it use to be and the girls are in such a hurry. Lee's is professional and clean. By clean, I mean sanitary. Lee's was the only place I could find that autoclaves their tools. So each client can see the tools in the blue bag being opened. The nail techs were very professional and did not try to upsell every step. I also appreciated the uniformity of the place. Each station looked like it had the same setup. And each tech looked like the follow the same order of clean-up. It's all in the details and he mani-pedi I got was perfect so five shiny stars! read more

Just had the worst gel manicure ever!. Kim usually does a good job by not this time. So disappointing!!!

I really, really miss my old nail girl her name was My Lee she left right before September 2015. She would always do my gel mani... they said she went back to school, but if anyone knows where she went please let me know. Julie too is another girl who left shortly after My and she was great and really nice as well. Most the girls are good there and I still go to get my nails done, but I just miss them since I went to them for over 5 years and created a special bond with them. Wonderful Glendora secret. I've been going to Lee's Nail Spa since 2006, and have never been disappointed. The owners are so kind and remember you names! I hadn't go in for about a year, and they still remembered me. Descent prices and always clean. For your initial pedicure, they require you to purchase a pumice sponge and nail file for sanitation reasons. This kit is less than $10, and can be used during your future appointments. read more

I have given this place 4 chances and was disappointed every time. They have a lot of people working there so you will always get right in (which is good), but its almost like they have so many people working there that they just hired people off the street! I get my nails done quite often and I ALWAYS get gel, so I know the routine and what the out come should be. ALL FOUR TIMES at this salon (with a different nail lady each time) they have done something weird to my nails and they have come out like crap every time! One time a lady did my entire hand with out putting a bonding coat on and had to take every thing off and redo it... And they STILL chipped off in pieces with in 5 days (which isn't supposed to happen with gel). The last and the FINAL time I went, she gave me a hand massage with cuticle oil (ew, where's the lotion?) and put on the top layer of gel so thick that it discolored my nail polish.. And was very rude on top of that! Will not be coming back. read more
