My main issue was Mia at the front desk who, took about ten minutes to walk out to the front desk and acknowledge me at the location. She only walked out to check someone out, and when I gave her my name, she said, "you're an hour early, I don't have anything right now" and then continued to check out the other lady. I sat there and waited for a formal acknowledgment. I expected her to tell the other woman who was sitting in the room with me, you're next and tell me let's see what I can do and give you options. Nothing. I walked out, and had to waste an hour of my time for the appointment. When I walked in, she was still checking out the other lady, and then told me I would not be able to be seen because now I was too late, - 9 minute grace period, even though I waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged when I first walked in, too late. She told me there was nothing else left for the day although I had only one small prepaid service I was waiting for. I couldn't come the next day as I was heading out of town, hence the need for the wax. When I looked at my phone as I walked out, I got a text saying I had a no show and had 3 no shows before they don't take my appointments and can only do walk ins. I had to walk back in and ask her for her name - Mia, and who was supposed to be the waxer - Jeanette, who couldn't do the wax because they had just added new wax and turned up the heat. (This means nothing to me btw as I don't work there) She also told me she had been gone for ten minutes because she also has to sweep so they can close on time because there was only one waxer. This is an hour and a half at this point after I originally showed up when the closing was nearly 2 hours out. Not once did she mention, hey we only have one waxer, when I checked in, nor did she say look we are low staffed today can you com back at a different time or day. Nothing. It's rude and horrible customer service, I also don't appreciate the attitude when I called her out on her behavior. I didn't want to argue with a young girl, but I do find it incredibly disrespectful of me and my time. I will not be returning to the location and will be asking for my money back on unpaid wax passes. Additionally, EWC, get more employees and pay them fair wages. It's no wonder why people are constantly leaving, you leave the waxers spread thin, alone, and have compressed schedules for them making them make mistakes along the way. I really liked my last wax girl here, Stacy and ever since she left it's really gone downhill.

She frequently runs promotions via email or Instagram and when Ive booked during promotions and go to pay she does not acknowledge or honor the discounts and promotions she is running. I feel awkward having to mention them when they are clearly advertised on marketing emails and social media. SOMETIMES she will say it must be mentioned but others it does not. Also sometimes the interactions and conversations during Brazilians can be a bit intrusive and personal, I get some people like it and like the personality but it's just not quite my vibe. The technician informed me that the dermabrasion would be too much exfoliation since the derma plane is exfoliating as well. However, she still recommended doing a chemical peel and because I'm not that educated in skin treatments I proceeded with her recommendation. About a week later after my facial, I I noticed 2 burn marks on my face, which I assumed were from the chemical peel. While one healed, one has still not gone away, and this is a facial I received late in December 2025. I went back a month later and asked the technician(different one) what the mark was. She said it was like acne post mark because of too much exfoliation with both the dermaplane and chemical peel . She said it should fade away and recommended me one of their expensive skin resurfacing products. I did not buy it and this was my last visit here. 3 months later, I still have this mark on my face so I have an appointment with the dermatologist soon. I would still recommend this place for maybe the basic $70 facial, it's pretty cheap and worth the money. I do not recommend any other special services because it seems some of the technicians may not be as educated and it's not worth messing up your skin.

The massage was not very relaxing. Juanita used short quick motions that made my muscles tense up... kinda reminded me of the same forceful motions that one would use on a manual washboard. And candidly, it felt like she was in quite a rush. (No, I didn't say anything to her because I wanted the full authentic experience that Fejjab Spa offers.) But she was very nice but not very skilled. Also, my massage ended way before my time should have. (I arrived a few minutes late, but even then, the massage ended at least 15 minutes earlier than the original time and there was no clarification if my time would be cut short or allowed to run for the amount of time that I purchased.) This was my first back facial. I was really looking forward to it because I knew there was a bunch of interesting things that I could not reach. The whole experience would have been immensely more enjoyable if they offered a heating lamp. What I discovered during my first experience is with all of the liquids, creams, lotions, and mask, my entire back was exposed and I was cold the entire time.
