This review is solely for the shucking in the street event yesterday, which just happened to coincide with our trip to visit some friends. We got there around 2 and couldn't believe how packed the place was! Insanely crowded, but we loved the chance to gorge ourselves with fellow oyster lovers. Still can't believe how many we ate, and the $10 entry cost is an incredible deal. It got crazier as the afternoon pressed on, but would certainly recommend this rain or shine event to anyone passing through. Thanks, Lee's, for adding to our memorable trip. Plentiful outdoor seating was the reason for choice plus I had a carry out special which was fried oyster tacos that weren't bad. So when I arrived for happy hour there was a ton of outdoor seating but no one to greet me. I went inside and to my surprise tons were seated at the bar and I don't think they were 6 feet apart. I asked for outdoor seating and a drink while I waited for my guest to arrive. She told me I can go choose a table outside. I ordered a margarita and got a waterrita. The drink was watered down. I then ordered brussel sprouts and that was cold. There was some white stuff on the side I'm assuming it was whipped butter. The shrimp steam pot was ok needed more old bay the cauliflower was good. Next drink was to try a Patron margarita but still watered down with a slight pucker. I won't be returning...I was too disappointed! read more

I came here a few months back when Lee's threw a party to celebrate shucking 50k oysters. The party was advertised as including free oysters until 7pm. No way could this be real, I thought. But the siren call of free oysters was strong, so I went to check it out. Sure enough, Lee's set up tables outside and hired folks to shuck seemingly bottomless buckets of oysters. I stayed for three hours and ate to my heart's content, then went inside and had some hot food from the kitchen, which was also delicious. I ended up leaving to hit up the canton house crawl, and when I swung back by Lee's around 7pm, there were STILL free oysters being shucked. So I helped myself to another half dozen for the road. Lee's has great food, good service, a fantastic vibe, and they are excellent neighbors. What more could you want in a local spot? This is now my go-to oyster spot. The hype is real! read more

The service was nice and the scene was downtown bar with great music. Food wasn't very flavorful but the fish tacos were pretty good.

The food was pretty good & the crush I got was also enjoyable, but the restaurant is not safe. The bartender making drinks had no mask in sight while running a packed bar and the restaurant was packed, certainly over a 25% capacity. The host also had a mask half on his face which made me super uncomfortable. It's a shame because it seems like a fun place but they need to follow the rules and keep people safe. So, for the time being I won't be going back. read more

FIFTY CENT OYSTERS! what more can I say? Good luck getting seating inside, you're better off getting seating outdoors...especially during the happy hour specials. We got 4 dozen oysters and sangria, all were amazing! Service was super quick and our server was very so nice and friendly. By far, the best part about this spot is their $0.50 Oysters on the Half Shell during happy hour! Incredible deals on drinks and especially the oysters. They're a local choice but super cold and fresh and briny and delicious. I've been here twice now. Once for drinks and dinner where I was with a friend and we were seated at a high-top table. And a second time alone for a lazy happy hour treat (and oysters, duh!). Both times, the food was really great. Drinks are standard bar fare. This place gets pretty rowdy at night because it's situated in a really residential area and corner, so I assume that a ton of people in the neighborhood use this place as their local watering hole to get after-work drinks and food, especially since the food I've had, although "pub fare", is really delicious. read more

Y'all should know that Lee's blocked comment on FB, so take these to heart. They've failed during Covid in every way possible. No rules, no distancing, no mad enforcement. Now they are shut down and they wonder why people are upset? They did some ridiculous sanitation that we don't even know if that works and yet they will be back in full force soon. This place has been over for over a year and has been hopping every since! The restaurant is aesthetically very cool. Big huge open windows/restaurant with spacious second floor open air bar. If it's a beautiful day try to sit outside! However you may need to say a little prayer that the restaurant isn't too crowded. Tip: get oysters on the half she'll to split at the table. Lots of drafts options that are local/not from the major distributors. Why not five stars? I've been here a few times. The only food I'd recommend as unique/different is the duck nachos. Great new spot! Stopped by here with a small group around 10 on a Friday night. The place had a decent crowd, but not too crowded at all. The menu is seafood inspired up scale bar food- best way I can put it. Everything looked great. We had the lamb fries and the chipotle fries, brussel sprouts and fish tacos. Everything was great! The Brussels and fries were especially good. They have a solid list of house cocktails. I tried the house old fashioned, which had a good flavor profile. The waiter was very nice and helpful. I heard about the lobster dinner on Sunday nights so we wanted to check it out! So glad we did! We had mussels as an appetizer and the lobster for an entree. The lobster came with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob! It was all great. The rest of the menu looked great too so we'll definitely be back!! read more

We live near Lee's and often stop by for an after work drink, small bites, or brunch. This place never disappoints! While you can find a mixed crowd depending on the day and time of day, we are happy to sit at the bar to enjoy an energetic atmosphere while not having to suffer through loud bar music, crowded/noisy guests, etc. Service - whether at a bar or table, the staff is friendly and attentive. Bonus that they are on top of bringing water for your dogs when sitting outside! Food - love it. Fish tacos, brussels sprouts, lamb gyro, fries, parmesan oysters, and tuna tartare are all recent orders that are worth ordering. Stopped in for Brunch with the Fiancé and his Dad. Unfortunately I hadn't done my research and didn't realize that Brunch was only on Sundays. Despite this we stuck with it and just ordered off the regular menu. We got the fries with a literal crab cake on top and they were delicious, I can't really remember the rest of the meal but I'm pretty sure no one was disappointed. Since it was a semi celebratory meal we ended with whiskey and was actually quite happy with the selection. Overall the experience was pretty good, although our Waiter seemed to disappear for longer periods of time than we would have liked. Especially when it came time to pay the check, we actually had to ask someone else to go find him and even then it took a while for him to reappear. He was nice in person though, and hopefully it was just part of the learning curve for a newer establishment. Will definitely return! read more

Lee's throws the best seafood events hands down! They stay true to what they promise in their event descriptions. Whether it may be the unlimited oysters for $5 during "shuckin on the streets" or the $13 main lobster night...it's awesome! It's an unassuming place with great food and the staff so far Hellas even attentive and friendly. Hands down you won't be disappointed with the food. Came here for a Sunday funday to watch the game with friends. It was very crowded but on a better note they have Sunday ticket. We where able to get a table, and able to see the game we wanted to see. They don't change the channels on Sunday's, but the TVs are labels with the games. I had a very specific order and the server was fantastic with my request. Informing me that she checked in with the cook to make sure everything was as ordered. All around it was a great time. This is probably one of the worst bar/restaurants in Baltimore. They have very little concern for their patrons. We bought tickets to their shrimp/oyster feast weeks ago only to show up to an unorganized fiasco this morning. Once they finally allowed us to come in out of the rain we waited another two hours while they prepped food. Then, we had to wait in line for over an hour only to make it halfway through the food line before we decided to just leave. Watching disappointed customer walk by with their plate of five shrimp and six oysters was such a downer. The alcohol is way over priced. Management is unorganized and irresponsible. Customers were demanding refunds and but only a few received them. They put on a scam for 500 people who bought tickets for this event. It's a shame that they got away with this. read more

My favorite part of the Jan 28th 'all you can eat shrimp and oyster' event was when the bartender, who has been with Lee's SINCE THEY OPENED THE RESTAURANT said to a patron who asked what was the deal/time for food to start: "I don't know, I'm just a bartender, I only sling the beers here. Go outside and ask." I have been to Lee's multiple times since they opened. I am quite a fan. However this is the 2nd "BIG" event of theirs that I've attended, and you would think after the fiasco of lines for their 1st feet on the street/Oyster event last summer, they would have corrected their mistake. Today's event was an absolute joke. I feel bad for the number of people I spoke to who traveled 30+ miles to attend, and for those who left the event early. Lines were ridiculous. Planning for the event was not thought out. And customer service by the main bartender was so sad; seriously, this guy has been at Lee's since the beginning. His interactions with customers today was the poorest of form for him. The Oyster shockers and staffers at the Shrimp tables were great! They knew they were overwhelmed, but kept their heads up and interacted with the frustrated customers and made them smile the best they could! A big kudos to those folks!! Lee's... My boyfriend and I came here for happy hour on Friday. There was a short wait, but we got a hightop by a window that was open. The weather was nice so we were really happy to be semi outdoors. Our server, Anthony, was very attentive and super friendly. He was obviously busy, but he did not seem stressed at all. We got the small batch bourbon flight which was awesome, we love that they have so many bourbons to try! The happy hour oysters were pretty good. We also split the chesapeake fries and the mussel special. So so good. The fries were so yummy and the mussels had great flavor. We will definitely be coming back. Really fun place for Sunday Brunch! The food is good and the fries taste like truffle. The drinks aren't bottomless but they are only $3 a piece. My ONLY complaint is that the drinks were weak. I didn't love the house Bloody Mary mix (but to each their own). It had too much horseradish for my liking and was bland otherwise (lacking seasoning). I switched to a mimosa hoping that'd be better but it seemed to be orange juice with a splash of champagne. But they're cheap so I didn't have high hopes.
