    Soft shell heaven!

Return visit! Party of four! Two first timers! I was so impressed with my first visit I had to tell friends about this place. As a group, we finally made it happen! Nothing has changed since my last visit. Good thing. After adult beverages and two cups of chili, our orders included a Reuben, Sour Beef and Dumplings, Chicken Caesar Salad and a Shrimp Salad Sandwich. Everything was great and service was typically good. The house was reasonably busy for a Thursday evening and that's a good thing. Can't wait to tell others and hope it's not eight months before my next visit. Fingers crossed!

    Delicious turkey club and chips

Stopped here midday because I wanted a fresh turkey club and a good friend recommended this place. When I pulled up I saw two doors of entry. I wasn't sure which one to enter. Well, the door to your far right allows bar entry while the door on left allows you entry into the restaurant. However, you can walk between both from the inside. I entered on the restaurant side. A very polite woman asked if she could help me. I told her that I was there to place a carryout order. She offered me a menu and said I could either take a seat in the dining area or at the bar. I chose the bar side. I ordered Apple martini but, they were out of apple pucker. I then chose a long island iced tea which was made to perfection. I then ordered my turkey club to go. I sat and sipped on my drink as I waited for my to go order. There were two friendly gentlemen also sitting at the bar. We engaged in conversation as I waited. The food was ready in about 15 minutes. I had not finished my drink yet but, I had paid my tab. I fined my drink and headed for my car. I looked at my food when I got to my car. Let's just say the turkey club, chips and pickle slices didn't make it home. It was delicious. I will definitely be returning. This place is a hidden gem. You wouldn't even know it's location if someone has not told you about it. Well, now you know. Pay them a visit.

    Crabcake and French Fries

Had the best dinner tonight. The crabcake was as good as I've had outside my mom's house. Everything was really excellent and the staff was super friendly. Highly recommend. We'll be back for sure.

Baltimore, Maryland --- "Johnny Dee's" is an iconic neighborhood lounge/eatery known for their shrimp salad sandwich. Located in the lower back portion of a small neighborhood shopping center, there is plenty of parking options. The atmosphere is a bit too "sterile" for me, but some nostalgia memories pictures hanging in the lounge area. If in the area, it is a "nice" eatery with lounge area seating. Not a "dive-seeker" kinda bar. "Run-A-Way Bill" was here! #RunAwayBill #FoodUSA #FoodRAB #BARRAB 04.04.18

Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel like you've been coming there for years. Ms. Shirley has built something special. She always has an outstanding selection of cigars and is incredibly knowledgeable about the different brands and blends. Whether you're a seasoned cigar smoker or just getting started, she's always willing to educate and help you find something you'll enjoy. The vibe is unmatched. Some nights feature a live DJ, sports on the screens, movies, and nothing but grown-folks energy. It's the perfect place to relax, unwind, network, or simply enjoy a good cigar. One thing I really appreciate is the ventilation system. The lounge is comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. Unlike some cigar lounges, it's not overly smoky, and I've never had any issues with the air quality while spending time there. The setup is simple: purchase two cigars or pay the lounge fee, bring your own liquor, and enjoy yourself. The atmosphere is welcoming to both men and women, and there's a genuine sense of community every time I visit. I've been to a lot of places, and this is easily one of the best cigar lounge experiences around. If you're looking for great cigars, great people, and a great environment, you won't be disappointed.

This is Puerto Rican pitorro, also known as ron cañita, made with care and intention rather than gimmickry. Many local liquor stores now carry the brand, and it is well worth picking up a bottle, but visiting the distillery is an experience in itself. The founder is a fellow Puerto Rican born retired military member, a background I share, and like me, he has put down roots in Maryland. That story is reflected clearly in the brand's own framing, "Puerto Rican born, Maryland made." The space feels grounded and unpretentious, and that sensibility carries through to the hospitality. We arrived late on a Saturday and were still welcomed warmly, never rushed. We were taken care of by the founder's daughter, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. She guided us through a flight that included the traditional pitorro, almond, pineapple, coffee, coconut chai, and several seasonal offerings. The flavors were thoughtful and well balanced; even the infused expressions retained a clear rum backbone rather than drifting into novelty. We enjoyed them enough to leave with several bottles. This is artisanal pitorro done right, rooted in Puerto Rican tradition and confidently made in Maryland. Buying it locally is convenient, but going to the distillery is where the people, the story, and the spirit fully come together.
