We went for happy hour which is from 4-7pm. Unfortunately, they do not have a food menu for happy hour but they do have 50 cent oysters. I will say that I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was delicious. We ordered 2 dozen Chesapeake Salt Water Oysters!! They were amazing. I couldn't stop eating the truffle fries. We also ordered Brussels sprouts, which I wasn't crazy about. I like them to be well done. However, the fried oysters were good and so were the grapefruit crushes. I was visiting from out of town and was recommended this place in Canton. I really like the interior decorating and the bar in the middle of the restaurant was a cool touch. the place was clean and the wait staff was super friendly. We had the duck nachos which were incredible. the fish and chips entree was worth the money and the salmon BLT was very tasty. my friend whom is a local tried the seafood bowl which lacked some taste and appeared quite bland. An anticipated evening of fun immediately turned into a questionable moment of either poor customer service or evident racial biases from the staff of Lees Pint and Shell. We arrived at 3:40 and didn't receive acknowledgement from a waiter until 4:41. While waiting over thirty minutes to be served we initiated ordering our own drinks from the bar. We took our drinks over to our table and observed the two waitresses walking pass our table at least 20 or more times. We also observed the two waiters assisting two other tables with guest, who sat down after us. During our waiting , we noticed the two waiters also had time to clean tables, bring back drinks to the other tables, as well as prepping for a private party that was seated to the left of us. While doing all of that, neither one of them came to do a temperature check to see if we needed menus, drinks, food etc. We continued to witness the same two waitresses accommodate other guest that sat down after us and clearly known of the them was a people of color. We allowed an entire hour to elapse to ensure that we were being objective rather than subjective since the thought of racial biases was coming into play. At 4:41, finally one of the waitresses that walked by several times came over to state that our check had to be transferred to a them if we were planning to stay for the entire Ravens playoff game. We immediately asked for her to get the manger to address our concerns of not being acknowledge or waited on during that hour duration. The manger comes, instead of being apologetic, he immediately places blame that we should no the bars policy of stopping in with a hostess to get seated. He shared that we should have stopped to alert the waitresses for assistance rather than them coming to us. He shared that it was more a problem on us rather than offering quality customer service. We shared to the manager that we frequent here often and we were never informed of that policy as many times we have supported their establishment. We do understand that their is a policy to follow, however as part of customer service it is the duty of the establishment to support the customer. We enjoy coming to this establishment and find it a great place to get good food and drinks. However, with the way how the events took place it was very evident that we were not given quality customer service due to us being people of color. It is disappointing that in year 2020, racial biases are still a huge concern and people are not prioritizing the thought that there is only one race and that's the human race. It's disheartening to know that an anticipated night of fun resulted in being devalued because of the color of our skin. So happy to have this place in the neighborhood! They have an awesome draft beer selection, serve consistently excellent seafood at good prices, have a beautiful space, sport a lively crowd, and offer top-notch service. I've been back twice now and I have nothing remotely bad to say about the place. It can get crowded during happy hour, probably because of the ridiculously good deals (50 cent oysters!) and great atmosphere. We've had some killer seafood there including the steamed shrimp, shrimp tacos, crab cake sandwich, and of course 50 cent oysters. Plus their fries are delicious and the crew working behind the bar are friendly and knowledgeable (shout out to Josh for giving me a bunch of great recommendations on their whiskey menu). In and out of Baltimore for work for the last couple months. Came here with 3others. It was a pretty loud, hoppin place. I'm young, so it felt like a fit for me. Good selection of hip coastal region foods. They have a solid selection of Whiskeys, which means a lot from a Kentuckian, and many beers I've never heard of, which is always a good thing when in away from home. Lee's probably isn't really going to be your best bet if you want a family dinner, unless you have young adults, and you might be a young adult at heart. Again a great happy hour that includes food deals, like $.50 oysters. Something I never get to eat fresh back home. I went to the block party on Saturday July 27th. I went 2 weeks after my ACL constructions surgery. After speaking to the band the told me it was okay to sit on there equipment boxes because it was difficult to stand for a long period of time. After this the bouncer kept coming up to me and giving me a difficult time even after the band gave me the okay. It became apparent that the bouncer was on a mission to get me out of there no matter what my situation was. I will never go back there for any reason because of how I was treated. I can't believe how they treated me and I don't understand how I was treated that way. Lee's Shrimp & Oyster Roast on Jan 28, 2018 is a total scam. The event clearly states it starts at 11 but we're told that food won't be ready until at least 1pm. The worst part is that this place is only a bar and does not have any tables or chairs so not sure how my party of 7 was going to eat. The waiter suggested that we order from the menu first if we're hungry (Right! Order from the menu before the all u can eat... nice try). We decided not to wait 2 hours so we left and ate elsewhere. They always have great specials and constantly changing up the menu (and even let you order a previous special if it still isn't listed!) I used to LOVE Lee's. It was my favorite bar and restaurant ..but the service here the past couple of times has been TERRIBLE. My husband and I went today and sat at a high top by the front entrance. We waited for 15 minutes and then had to ask the front hostess who our waitress was. They tracked her down and she asked for our drinks and we put in our drink order. We waited another 10 minutes and still no drinks. We walked out because we were waiting for so long to get any sort of service. It was a shame because my love for that place has completely gone away because of their bad service. read more

I give two stars because it was the Saturday after Thanksgiving, a very busy day. But the menu was just average and the service as good as a bad chain restaurant. Shrimp and oysters- All You Can WAIT. This is a review of the 1/29 Event- a shrimp and oyster roast. Not a review of regular service. Advertised 11 AM to 4 PM all you can eat. Oversold and underdelivered. We arrived at 1 PM. My wife was next to a lady who said she had been in line since 11:00 and the food just started coming out. Others had already received refunds. The hostess processed our tickets and THEN said, "It's going to be a long wait." I asked, "What's that, an hour?" She said, "Probably." And then curtly added," We're not giving any more refunds." Another staff member then stated to someone else, that it wasn't all you can eat, "It's until we run out." We went elsewhere and I disputed the charge with my credit card. Probably good people who got out in front of their skis, sold too many tickets and could not handle the logistics. Had a night out with the boys on Thursday and just had an amazing night. Slugging back oysters and old fashioneds all night like it was our job. Our bartender was Erin who is pretty much the best bartender of all time. I asked her to make me a drink of her choice and she made a "Nutcracker." Was this some sort of subliminal message she was sending me? I can only wonder...I'm not sure about the one reviewer complaining about the music because it was on point! In terms of food, just get the shrimp tacos. Simple as that. I've been to this bar about 10 times and have gotten the shrimp tacos 60% of the time. As Canton locals who live two blocks away, my girlfriend and I typically go to Lee's 3x a week especially on Monday's to take advantage of their $5 lb of Mussels deal. This time we went with four other friends and had a table for six outside. We all ordered 3 lbs of mussel's, 1/2 lb of shrimp, buffalo wrap, double cheeseburger, and their Mexican corn. Right away, the cheeseburger, corn and wrap were given to our table but it took another 30 minutes for 2 of the 3 lb's of mussel's to be brought out, and then we had to remind our waitress that we had ordered a third pound of mussel's as well as the 1/2 lb of shrimp which she ended up forgetting to put in. Another 30 minutes later, the rest of our food was delivered. All in all, our dining experience lasted 90 minutes with food delivered every 30 minutes. Lastly, we notified our waitress when first were sat that we wanted the check split a certain way which she said she would be happy to do and thanks for letting her know. I reminded her once more of this when we finished eating and of course she got the checks all mixed up and all out of sorts. So, needless to say this was one of the more disappointing times we've come to Lee's. Nothing ended up being comped either which was disappointing. She never even apologized. Sorry to say when food is ordered everything should be brought to the table all at once not 30 minutes apart throughout 90 minutes. We love Lee's but unfortunately the last few times we've gone the food hasn't been good and the service has been poor. On a separate note, Athena and Cait are amazing. Always have been. Still in the restaurant. This place is amazing! Great neighborhood spot. Unassuming. Amazing happy hour deals! 50 cent oysters and $2 off all drinks till 7 and on Thursday, happy hour ALL NIGHT! The oysters are DELICIOUS and very fresh. I ate a dozen during happy hour without breaking a sweat. The service is upbeat but unobtrusive and quick to refill a drink. Place filled up while we were there and everyone is having a great time. Not too loud but a nice hum of conversation and great music in the background! We are only going to tell our best friends about this place because we want to keep it all to ourselves! Had the fish and chip and it was delicious and perfectly seasoned and cooked! The hubs had the blackened chicken with crab dip on a pretzel roll....yummy. I didn't like the fries because I don't care for truffles but they were well cooked. All in all, great place. The staff was overly accommodating and the manager Brian is super nice and went above and beyond to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. Hubby and I stopped in a couple of weeks ago for the first time. Loved the atmosphere and open air feel. First really nice day of the season and all doors (garage door walls) were open. We ordered two different kinds of oysters to start. They were delivered pretty quickly and were yummy. (I'm told) This was followed by fish and chips, mac and cheese with shrimp and crab and my shrimp tacos. The fish and chips were the best I've ever tasted!! Huge!! The batter was light and tasty. The fries looked like they were made in house and were cooked perfectly. Again, not greasy!! The mac and cheese was okay. Nothing spectacular. My shrimp tacos were very tasty with fresh light flavors. We were excited to find a new place to frequent!! Then the bill came. The oysters were on the bill at full price. When we asked our bartender, she said only one kind of oyster that night was 50 cents each. Well, that was one of the ones we ordered. She said she forgot to adjust them for hh. Hmmmm, well, good to know. It happens, but, knowing up front would have been better. Right? So......we still liked the place enough to go back. And, go back we did.
