Hang up the phone with your bank, especially if you're currently driving; you won't need that second mortgage at Kingray. It was a good experience and easy the whole way through for a quality tire replacement. After our daughter lost a battle to a curb, resulting in a shredded front tire, she learned 1) how to change a tire with some FaceTime help, 2) how even hands-free phone calls can be costly, and 3) where in town to grab a wheel on the cheap. The Kingray folks were helpful with a straightforward exact cash price on a used tire. Since we had just replaced these last summer (surprise) and passed on the gold-standard tire insurance plan, we needed something to get us back on the road quickly. This went so smoothly my daughter didn't even bother to tell me until nonchalantly mentioning "it went fine" a couple days later. No calls while there telling me they need to do X more work for XX more hundreds of $$. Just the tire and still the same price as quoted. I was admiring it later, as it epitomized "lovingly used". When you first pull up, you think it is NOT a legitimate business. It's really messy and shady looking. HOWEVER, the guy that works there/runs the joint is EXTREMELY nice and honest. Prior to stop at Kingray, I stopped at a different tire shop, where they told me "there was nothing wrong with the tire", they put air in the tire and I left the place. I stopped at Kingray and the person there found the nail, he was able to patch the tire (past his time to close the shop) and able to get me on the road again. One of my TPMS sensors was showing on my dashboard so I needed to stop somewhere and have it checked out. I popped in "tire shop" on my gps and this was the only shop near the area that showed it was open on the weekend. As I pulled in, there was a car in front of me getting tires installed. I walked up and mentioned my issue to one of the guys in the garage area and he said it would only be a few minutes, in which it was. I waited near my car as others were starting to pull in. The guys handled their business and kept the order of the cars. After inspection, it was discovered, there was no issue with my tires and the guys still made sure all of my tires had the appropriate air in them. This spot is now bookmarked for me. read more

Picture this - it's Friday afternoon, 5pm and I get a bad slow leak in my run flat tire. Frantically called a few places in the area. Not only did this establishment pick up the phone, he told me me to come right down and he would take care of me right away. Lots of parking to pull up, and I was greeted right away. He took my tire off, showed me where the nail was (and politely ignored my slew of curse words which followed), and had me back on the road in 15 minutes! I've waited longer for a cocktail... The price quoted to me over the phone was $45. I was a little nervous because it is a VERY modest looking space both inside and outside and I didn't want to be swindled. Well, I got there and the guy put my tires on in 15mins or less. When he was done putting on the tires he called me outside because he noticed a nail in one of my back tires that I hadn't intended on replacing. Well, he offered to patch it for me, I took him up on it and he did it in 5 mins. For the two tires, installation and patch up service... he only charged me $100 even. What a great price. The tires look great too! I'll update my review if they don't last but for now I'm very happy. read more

Came here because a tire had a slow leak and assumed they would tell me to just get a replacement. In all honesty, that would have been fine because his rate on a used tire was outstanding. But he took it off, showed me the leak and offered to fix it for $15. It's a small shack, but sometimes those are the best. Highly recommend this place!! read more

I thought I was going in for a used tire but learned that whatever I hit in the rode pierced the tire and put a tiny hole in my rim which would have caused a slow leak even after replacing the tire. Thanks to Kingsray for being honest and pointing it out vs just slapping another tire on my car and sending me on my way. If I could give ZERO stars I would. I was told over the phone a replacement tire would be $40. When i got there it was $48. Then I left for vacation for 5 days and all of the air leaked out of my tire... i came home to a flat. I asked them to replace my tire again because obviously they did not replace it, they put a patch on which is not what I paid for. They made me pay them for a new tire when I brought the car back and I had no choice because I wouldn't have been able to leave driving on rim. They took advantage of me and I would never reccomend them. read more
