Dr. B is an amazing dentist who listens to his patients! I have many rare conditions that most dentists brush off. I explained my conditions and past experiences of dental procedures in the past, Not only did he listen he researched and understood my conditions! His calming demeanor made me feel very comfortable and I no longer feel fear going to the dentist! The office staff are always kind and caring ! I have had a fear of dentists ever since I can remember. Nothing personal, but the sounds of the drill and pain of the lidocaine shots are worse than passing a kidney stone for me. Consequently I have neglected regular check ups and routine care over the last 40 years to the point I now need dentures. I am not gonna lie, it was not fun having 7 teeth surgically pulled at one sitting, the procedure that is, however Doc and the staff made it as bearable as humanly possible, nearly to the point of "pleasant". Very informative, attentive, and personable. I received follow up calls from staff and Dr. Barroso checking up on me after hours. It is one thing to be able to perform a technical procedure and another to do it with a truly caring finesse. I honestly believe there are very few, if any, dentists and staff that are as gifted as these folks. God Bless Y'all! read more

As luck would have it, I randomly broke my back tooth while eating chips and salsa and I was in pain for the entire weekend. I called Legacy Dental on a Monday morning and they were able to get me into the office by 3pm that same day. I absolutely HATE going to the dentist, so I had incredible anxiety about going, but the staff and Dr. B were so nice and welcoming. He answered every question I had (I had tons of questions). I was able to get a temporary crown and meds to help my pain for a couple of days, and then I came back to the office to get my permanent crown on Thursday. I love that this office is able to make your crown within the same day. Dr. B was extremely gentle with numbing my mouth, he walked me through everything that he was doing, and his staff was the exact same way, kind, gentle & patient. I was able to walk out of the dentist office with my mouth restored. I would recommend this office to anyone within the Burleson, Crowley, Joshua area. read more

5 stars for the dentist himself, Dr. Barroso 3 stars for his staff I have been going to this dentist office for TWO YEARS NOW. Dr. Barroso is a great dentist and is very FRIENDLY. He is very INFORMATIVE and CAREFUL in his procedures. I RECOMMENDED my brother and previous boyfriend to him. They both had GOOD EXPERIENCES as well. They offer referral credits to your account ($50) or a gift card to somewhere ($25) for referring others who make appointments with him, you get a choice. They also offer a FREE Starbucks gift card if you check-in at their location through Facebook which is a plus (I only found out on my most recent visit). They used to have two dental hygienists, but now they only have 1 (which is a good thing because she's the one I always request; wish I could remember her name). Everyone is normally nice, but some of the staff could have been nicer/had less of an attitude in one instance. My ONE COMPLAINT, they don't have an open area for brushing your teeth before they see you. They do have a bathroom with disposable tooth brushes that already have tooth paste on them, but you have to ask or else they don't tell you. ONE MORE, it's hard to get an appt time in the morning (7am- 9am), around lunch time, or late afternoon (around 4pm) so most of the time I have to take off some time off from work which is INCONVENIENT. read more

I have not been to the dentist in a while and my boss highly recommended his dentist Dr Barroso. I called the office and checked if they took my insurance, and they said they could schedule me in for the next week. They also said they can help with sleep apnea. During the visit the staff was friendly and professional, and they had free wi-fi in the waiting room. I know how hard it is to find a good dentist, so you should definitely check them out. read more

I have only been there twice, including today, but I have not had a single issue with any of the doctor's staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful both times I have been there. My physician recommended Dr. Barroso, but his office is out of network for my crappy insurance so I'd first gone to see another dentist. The other dentist didn't seem bad, but I need a lot of work done so I thought it was worth getting a second opinion. It was the right decision to visit Dr. Barroso because it's going to save me a few thousand dollars. Plus, you can just tell he's a good man and he knows what he's doing. I had two root canals today. So painless I fell asleep while they were working on me. The Doctor explains everything thoroughly, has a great personality, doesn't talk down to his patients, works with anxiety sufferers like me. I also had a cleaning today and the young lady who did that was both competent and extremely personable. The facility is no more than a couple years old. Everything is very clean from the lobby to the patient rooms. I can't say I know anything about dental technology but they seem higher tech there than the last couple dentists I went to. Maybe something goes wrong and I have to revise this review later, but for right now I'm extremely impressed. Ask them about their discount plan if you have no insurance, bad insurance, or whatever. And that reminds me. When I went for a second opinion there was another guy in there paying, and they were offering him three months to pay off his visit with no interest. I don't know if they do that for everybody. Didn't ask because I'm taking advantage of Care Credit's 12 months of no interest, but it's still cool that they offer that because dentistry is obviously pretty expensive. The more options you have financially, the better. read more

The dentist is nice but the office staff is awful. It was just too much to put up with every time I went to the dentist.

Staff is great! They even worked with me on payment terms.
