Just Games is located in a large strip plaza in Penfield, and can be a bit tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area (i.e. me). However, once inside, it feels like you've left the hustle and bustle of the plaza behind. The manager (owner?) of the store was super nice and showed me a few things in the store, gave me their normal schedule of events, and made sure to introduce himself and get my name as well. I purchased some sleeves for one of my games and signed up for their free customer rewards program. As well as having your normal Magic the Gathering cards and supplies, the store boasts a large collection of tabletop games and accessories. Newer titles were on the shelf as well as plenty of expansions and other goodies. The store itself has a large collection of games that customers are welcome to open up and play while in the shop, and if desired, rented out for a small fee. This was probably the highlight of my visit. I tried out a couple new games and made mental notes of the games I wanted to come back and play/rent. Despite living about 75 miles away, I fully plan on taking a trek back out here to join a game night and meet some new people, learn new games, and enjoy what this shop has to offer.

I've only been in here once (when I was checking out the awesome expo of local boutiques in this building), but will be back again. The comic book landscape is one which hasn't completely been taken over by Corporations so you can still get little family businesses like this one around the 585 and other regions, which is pretty delightful if you ask me.

Then it was aisles upon aisles of Christmas ornaments, lights, trees, stocking and any decoration you could imagine. I loved how organized everything was, each section by product ..even down to the color. Walking around the store was interesting, from the different art sections, frames to the many wooden signs. (seemed they had a sign for everyone) I needed some help finding the red buckets online, a nice salesman walked be right over to them. Really to have the extra service. Showed the employee working a picture of the item and he went out of his way to get this for us. He explained some of inventory was in boxes due to returning from a convention, but he would look into it. He sent a picture to the manager who confirmed they had the item and he went into the boxes to grab it for us. He really made a huge difference for us, as this was the only thing our 7 year old wanted for their birthday. The employee was so helpful in answering any questions we had and made our experience pleasant. The selection at the store is great and we enjoyed browsing the variety of products. The selection is huge and regularly changing. It can be a bit hard to find older anime/manga merch but as of yesterday I was able to find some Trigun(1997) items which I thought was fun!
