I had made an appointment at 0800 online for right when they opened so there wasn't much of a wait. Staff was matter of fact and not overly friendly at the front desk. The MA was quick and efficient getting my vitals and a brief history. The NP came in soon after. The NP was professional and listened to my concerns, placing appropriate orders. Some blood tests were required so a phlebotomist came in to draw my blood. I am concerned that when she cleaned me before drawing the blood she only lightly swiped an alcohol swab twice over the poke site. Typically before poking someone you want to clean for 30 seconds and use a circular motion. I also noted after leaving that they documented my venipuncture being in the RAC and it was actually the LAC. read more

Went about a year ago and been sitting with this for that long...When you're my age, you're in pain from a known condition and can't access your PCP who you've had a trusted relationship with for years to get a prescription that will fix it, the folks here are callous, don't listen to their patient and won't prescribe anything that will actually relieve your pain. Took what they gave me and was back still in horrible pain after not sleeping all night. Requested Flexeril and was refused, simply based on my age. The next day I was able to access my PCP, sent her an email explained what was going on, and got an email back, notifying me that she had called the prescription in to my pharmacy, Two pills later, the pain was completely gone. I've "been there, done that" and my doctor knows this. But the doc I saw seems to expect everyone to be seeking drugs instead of relief from pain. read more

The clinic staff and physicians were wonderful. I went here because they participated with my Insurance company. I will never go back because their billing department has been far below my expectations. I received a bill from them 16 months after my appointment. My 2ndry hadn't been billed, or possibly billed to the wrong address. I have been emailing consistently. I have tried in every way I can to help facilitate getting this bill to my 2nd insurance. I have contacted my 2ndry at least 4 times to follow up and even secured a fax number for them to send it directly. I have sent numerous emails and made several calls to Go-health billing office and they only respond to say that they received my email and that someone would contact me within 1 business day, it has been months. I have never had such a poor experience with a billing office. I'm at a loss as to what else to do. Thus the 2 stars. Clinic staff and physicians are great their billing office brings the score down. On a Thursday night, my teen, the one with the pink hair and the missing frontal lobe, was screwing around with the also frontal lobe challenged friend on a dark wet playground while I was working (and did not know there was a playground plan and I need to tell you I have explicitly advised against dark wet playground plans) and slipped and fell hitting the corner of some concrete steps with the left shoulder. The one by the previously broken elbow with the pins in it. Ahem. About an hour later the shoulder started throbbing and my kid came home in a few tears. Not before going to Walgreens and QFC to shop, however. Now this is not our first rodeo. I think it is my kid's 9th or 10th broken bone/ injury and I still want my dang punch card at the orthopedist. Anyway. I debated the ER vs Urgent Care as one does ( kid's Dr. is out on break so nope to that) and my kid said " I am sooo tired". My kid despises the ER. So we iced it, I dispensed ibuprofen, and I went online and scheduled the first available Friday am appt here. 8:30. The ER is expensive, crowded, full of sick people. Also it triggers my PTSD from all the past visits with my aging parents, me and my cancer stuff, and my ex's heart attack. Thus I prefer avoidance unless there is bleeding, big crying, or screaming which there was not. Not this time. Whew. This facility has xrays, is usually pretty empty, moves faster, is clean, and the staff are super nice. When you go in you find your name on the " kiosk" to check in, sit your butt down and then are called to the counter to verify insurance. We were whisked into a room and had a very short wait in there. This time we had a kindly PA (Joseph) and nurse ( Tabitha) and it was fairly painless. The shoulder is sprained. We left with instructions and a prescription was phoned in and they reassured us that the radiologist would look at the imaging and if it was more than a sprain they would let us know. We have not heard back. Amen. P.S. The only downside is they take a credit card to bill against later in case the insurance does not cover their fees. I could not change the card they had listed because the computer was being cranky. I am not a fan of this. I would prefer a paper mailed bill. I am old fashioned I guess. read more

I did not have an appointment and they saw me immediately! The other place I went to before here I had an actual appointment, and yet they didn't take me! How crazy is that? Kathleen at the front desk was super helpful and nice, and the physician assistant Jerod was so kind and caring. He heard me out, knew his stuff, and did his best to help me. I give him 5 stars. Honestly, I could not have asked for a better experience. Now I did go back for another issue, that other PA was good, but not as accurate diagnosing. If you end up in urgent care which I hope you don't need, this at least is the best place to be. I highly recommend this facility! read more

Waited outside in the 45 degree weather for my son's COVID appointment. Due to the cold and precaution he stayed in the car with my husband. My first greeting after staying in line was, " do you have an appointment" I said yes, for my son who is currently in the car. I was told " go get your son". When we got back in line and checking in I noted we were coming for a PCR test due to a positive at a home test two days prior with no symptoms. The immediate response I was given was " we can't test for ten days after a positive test, see you in ten days". When I asked " even with an at home test?" Her response was " yes, see you in 10 days". No apology for the inconvenience for miscommunication (which should be asked and denoted when you make your appointment) or for waiting in the cold or anything. We were then ushered out. And back to our 45 minutes round trip travel for no test. Plus we were the only pediatric case and appointment in the whole facility meant for children. I understand staffing is tight and people are probably mean all day but for a pediatric facility, you'd think you'd meet kind parents with kindness. As we left, my four year old even said, " she wasn't very nice mom". read more

The staff was very inconsiderate, rude and in no way, helpful or had any sense of urgency when we brought our three year-old in who had two ear infections and was inconsolably crying. We were a few minutes late for the appointment because of how sick he is and getting him settled to get in the car and they canceled our appointment and told us we would have to wait three hours. Honestly, the staff was just very mean. When you have been up all night with a sick toddler, who is in severe pain, kindness, empathy and help from a "pediatric urgent care", would be the expectation. Like, if you can't be nice to a sick kid and their parent, why are you in business? It's rude and just awful. I really hope this review reaches the staff, and there is consideration given because this is just not a way to do business or help others. I am really surprised more people haven't sued for lack of concern of their patients. What can be done here is not much. They can prescribe medications but here a few things they can't or will not do. 1 they do not do stitches to close a wound. 2 they do not set broken bones. 3 they do not place catheters. 4 they seem to be some what limited in getting the right imformatiom on referals for MRI's ; I had to go in and see their HR department and threathen a law suit to get a referal. I would like the State of oregon to do a spot check to be sure they follow the state requirements to stay in business. read more

Tuesday I went in with a bad sore throat and swollen lymph node on the left side of my neck. My left tonsil was also covered in pus. The doctor I saw sat there staring at my tonsils forever, giving me absolutely no information. She just suggested I gargle with salt water. So I asked her if she could prescribe me some antibiotics, since I had obvious signs of infection... and she shrugged and said "I guess, if that's what you want" The next day it was 100x worse, so i went back in. When I got there around 11am, they couldn't see me for atleast 4 hours, and I couldn't wait that long. So I left and went to another urgent care. They said it was an abscess on my tonsil and recommended a CT scan. I got the scan and found out I had a major infection in my tonsil as well as a blood clot in my jugular vein. I'm currently writing this from my hospital bed where I've been for 2 days now. This is such a serious situation! I have Lemierre's syndrome, which is fatal unless IMMEDIATE medical attention is given, with a mortality rate of 30-90% The doctor I saw was oblivious and wanted to send me on my way. I was told that I was very lucky to make it to the hospital. Not only will I never step foot in any of your facilities ever again, I will also encourage everyone I know to avoid it as well, my story will be heard read more

Went in recently at a quiet time of day for a non-emergency issue. I arrived in advance of my appointment, completed the paperwork and waited in the exam room for over 70 minutes before finally walking out without being seen at all for my condition. At one point the "provider" stuck her head in the exam room for probably 2 seconds and mumbled something before darting out never to be seen by me again. For what it's worth, the two staff members working the front desk were courteous and apologetic. Most other providers have a more professional approach to managing patient load. read more

More interested in masks over your nose than actual medical care. Came in 15 minutes early to an appointment. Waited until actual appointment to cancel on us. They demanded I return to their arrogant provider (made assumptions I ate fried foods) which I told them flat "no!". I had a CAT Scan showing inflamed internal organs. The arrogant doctor was rough in their care putting me in severe pain the remainder of the day. It wasn't an intrusive procedure, just normal test. I've been trying to get a confirmation of possible cancer. They make you jump through ridiculous hoops all the while highly concerned whether your mask is over your nose or not. Anyone bother to read the side of the mask box? Too many political activists posing as doctors. I've lost two great doctors due to the ridiculousness. Guess what's left. read more

My pregnant wife is sick and made an appointment at 2:15pm and the front desk was extremely rude to her. By 2:45pm they couldn't say anything except "sometimes people need more things". They could have at least given her a heads up, saying she was next in line or how many people were in front of her. Inefficient system and rude staff. Avoid. read more

Foot Pain- I went there yesterday for an x-ray on foot as it was hurting when I walked along the joints (metatarsals) and toes. After looking at my foot the doctor says, "I think you have plantar facilitas." I was so confused because that's heel pain and bottom of foot pain not what I went there for. Nevertheless, I went for an X-ray. Then, she comes in and says, "Another thing it may be is your metatarsals or it can be inflammation, also." I'm thinking to myself what the heck... thinking this isn't a guessing game doctor. So she believes it's NOT broken. It's not this but a maybe this or that. She brings in a brochure and says, "Okay, here's some information. You're all good to go." And begins to walk away. I look back and ask, "Well, is there anything you can do? Any meds for the inflammation?" She recommends I take ibuprofen for it. I request copy of my X-ray to be sent to my podiatrist and she said, no. WTF! Waste of time. read more

I may have come during a particularly busy morning but my experience was not stellar. For context, I went online around 9:30 am and signed up for an appointment at 11:04 am. I get there, got checked in, and saw my physician around 12:20 pm. Maybe I'm biased but I felt like I had been waiting patiently to see the physician but that interaction was what bothered me the most. Perhaps they were just having a bad day but the moment they walked in, they started talking at me so quickly it left me reeling since I had come in with an ear problem and was already having a difficult time hearing. I felt like I was talking to a wall and instead of alleviating the anxiety I had about this being worse than it likely is (occam's razor and whatnot), I left feeling worse than before. The experience left me feeling like I was a nuisance for being ill and that this entire process was to get me out of their hair as soon as possible. Sure, not everyone can be hospitable but I'd rather not leave a medical center feeling like I was the problem for having a problem. This place gets the job done and it is conveniently located but if I have the option, I would rather attend another urgent care center in the future. read more

The worst experience I've ever had... this facility. Having covid and them knowing, first and for most all personal info, ok plus let's not forget most importantly credit card info. Gotta charge cause your name is on our roster. Mind you it doesn't bother me to pay it but when you're seen... however without any vitals taken and just redirected to the hospital, and your credit card charged just to say "you need to go to the hospital" that's a crime. Unfriendliness staff. The most insulting was from 3 different employees. "Do I need a translator" being of the Latin origin. Terrible assumption on 3 different instances. Had to get a COVID test, so made an appt and had a virtual visit. The waiting room was empty when I got there, but even with an appt I had to wait 40 minutes to get the test done. The person doing the swab was so rough and swabbed so hard, my nose started bleeding. She was joking and telling me to hold still (I wasn't moving) with no care about the pain she was inflicting. I've had nasal swabs before and they were nothing like this, it was like she was enjoying doing this as hard as she could. Would recommend she get re-trained on doing this, or people to go to another testing facility. The results (negative) came back quickly and couldn't wait to get out of there. I decided to use this facility recently as my primary doctor is in the legacy system. I thought that they would be a little more interconnected than they apparently are. The positives are that I got right in, it wasn't crowded on a Saturday morning. Friendly person at the desk and the PA who took care of my problem was knew what he was doing and listened to me and answered all of my questions. My only real problem was that I was required to provide a credit card that would be charged after insurance is billed. After leaving, I got an email telling me thanks for signing up for that program. I didn't feel that I had the choice and it's the only Urgent Care place I've been to that required that. I do have to say, however, my credit card wasn't charged until after insurance was done. While it went well this time, I am still skeptical as I've had billing problems at other places before. Overall, a great experience, other than the billing, I would have rated higher. I have closer places to go, but the speed here may make me make the drive to get in and out quicker. read more

I've been here a few times, normally it's a pretty decent experience but they really seem to have some time management issues when things get busy. After showing up for my appointment the other day, 30 mins after the appointment start time I asked when I'd be seen, I was told at least 30 minutes. After ~ 35 minutes I asked again and was told in the next few minutes. I then was taken out to a room and had my vitals checked, but then left there for almost another hour. By the time I was done it was almost 3 hours end to end for a short visit and check-up. I know things are busy and difficult with COVID right now, but when I've gone to Providence Urgent Care in similar situations they have warned me when they're running behind, proactively moved my appointment when they couldn't keep up with demand, and given me constant updates on how they're tracking. If I'd been told coming in that it'd be at least two hours to see a doctor I would have rescheduled immediately. Even if I'd been told it'd be another hour after seeing the nurse, I would have been able to change my plans appropriately - I kept having to cancel my later meetings that day as time dragged on. As it was it disrupted not just me but all the other people I had to meet with that day. Everyone I dealt with at the clinic was kind, polite and helpful, but it seems like there are some fundamental issues around time management and processes at the clinic. I also emailed the address mentioned in other reviews a couple of days ago, no reply. read more

I booked an appointment online for a rapid Covid test only. I made sure to call the clinic and my insurance to make sure all would be covered, which I was assured of would be. After the appointment I was charged for a new patient exam. I didn't ask for, schedule, or want an "exam". I simply wanted the rapid test. We now have to pay $50 out of pocket for the "visit". This is obviously not the place to get tested for Covid. read more

Do a walk in and realize you can schedule online. Wish they would of answered their phone so I could of saved some time. I went in with a sore throat on a Saturday morning. I booked a 10 am appointment and it was totally empty when I got there, so I was seen immediately. I'm pregnant and wanted to rule out strep throat. I would not have gone in if I wasn't pregnant, so yes, I was being a little overly cautious. The NP said she didn't think I had strep but would do the swab anyway. I could hear her talking to the other employee through the door, but not very clearly. My husband, however, was in the waiting room and heard them very clearly complaining about the test (which took 10 minutes for results) and how they would just humor me because I'm pregnant. Anyway, they were very nice to my face, but I thought that was highly unprofessional behavior. Complaining about patients in earshot of the waiting room is not a good look. I will personally not be back in the future if I can avoid it. read more

Not going to use names, you can check your schedule and know who was here on this date and time. Again, commending both the RN and RT at this time. The provider: Patronizing, dismissive, lacking the ability to "hear" patient, is easily distracted, difficulty tracking patient, lacking both compassion and empathy. To quote provider, "I can't make this go away lady," in a rather curt and patronizing manner. Check your ego at the door, as you ARE NOT exempt from any ailment which leads any one of us to require emergent care. We are all busy, so that's no excuse. There is no excuse for this providers behavior. Today, 07-10-2021, the front office staff refused services to my daughter because it was lunch time and they had other patients. I'm still shocked. She wasn't asked to check in and wait, or come back in 30 mins. She wasn't asked for insurance information, DOB. or anything. When have medical receptionists or whatever they are calling themselves up front, been granted the authority to refuse a patient medical services? This was such a tacky, flippant, and undermining way to dismiss someone in medical need because the receptionist needed a Snickers. I'm so disgusted and done with all the entitlement behavior. It also advertises as walk-ins welcome, But when I took my son there at 7:30pm they told me they had already seen their quota of walk-ins for the day. While others may not have had a great experience here, I did have one. I had a pretty awful ear infection and was in excruciating pain. I walked in with no appointment and was in and out in less than 45 minutes. I was treated by an MD, too. My prescription was ready and waiting for me at my pharmacy and I got better. What sets this place apart from ZoomCare across the street is that they hire MDs or DOs as their physicians. At least at that ZoomCare location, they had an ND, which is considered a naturopathic doctor. Naturopathic doctors are not medical doctors and cannot provide the same care as a medical doctor or doctor of osteopathy. I appreciated that while it was 4pm on a Friday and I could never get into my PCP on such short notice, that there was a easily accessible MD (like my PCP!) to care for me. Thank you. read more

I recently went to Urgent care as I was having trouble breathing and this had been going on for over a week. I had been to a different clinic the week before and was given Adafar and diagnosed with acute Asthma due to a cold and sent on my way. I was treated right away by a great male nurse, whose name I didn't get. He was warm and caring, and put me at ease! EKG was done due to wheezing and pain in chest, lucky for me X-Ray showed Pneumonia and I was given a steroid breathing treatment(s) and Antibiotics! I am starting to feel human and have turned a corner toward good health. I would encourage anyone to go! Fast, professional & effective! read more

This is what being treated for any illness should be like. They treated me with respect in a professional manner and the Provider was excellent in listening to me about how I felt so that she could get me the treatment I needed. I prefer Legacy now over any Providence healthcare because of my experiences at both. Originally, I went to Providence at Orenco Station for cold symptoms which needs a entire new staff to be able to provide basic level of service. After being treated badly there by the Medical Assistant, Ashleigh and the provider Chris who told me she didn't know why I was there since colds just wear off symptoms in one week. I wanted to heal with anything other than over the counter pharmacy medicine. I was given 2 Rxs, my pharmacy filled Sudogest, and Virtussin that didn't work for me because those are basically over the counter medicine that even my insurance did not pay for because they said it is generic OTC. It cost me less than $10 to buy it. I had heavy, thick yellowish mucus in my throat I wanted an antibiotic for that was denied to me by Chris at Providence. I called Legacy a few days after my Providence visit since not getting any better. I was treated respectful on the phone by the lady who answered at the actual location and told me I could make my appointment online but she did that for me thankfully. Legacy has modern tools to help patients efficiently. When I walked into Legacy, there were two staff sitting at check in desk. There were a few patients who smiled at me. There was a television monitor with first names and last initial on the screen that had appointment times and flow. After about 10 minutes of waiting there, I was taken into a clean room by the friendly Medical Assistant who took my vitals and then I was seen by Provider Christine L. who was nice and listened to me non judgmental as I described my symptoms. I was prescribed antibiotics and I can honestly say I'm feeling so much better now thanks to her. read more
