This company is run by emotionally immature children. Maybe they do good work (electricians and…read moregenerator companies are a dime a dozen in Houston) but the woman running the customer service for the company is extremely immature and overly emotional. I asked for a generator quote for a Kohler generator, very simple. They responded back and said immediately and unprompted "we are not the cheapest." I said ok just give me a quote (since I'm getting several.) They responded back and said they hoped to have a quote in 1-2 days. No problem. Well fast forward over a week (and I had to re ask them for the quote while waiting.) I get an outrageously expensive quote (significantly higher than any other quotes I've received) and it's for a Generac, not a Kohler. On top of that I had liked the page and witnessed them CONSTANTLY blasting and getting into drama with anyone who leaves them an unfavorable review or does anything they deem unfavorable. I've always been put off by companies who engage in constant drama in the public eye. Says alot. If you're confident in your work you'll let that do the talking. Anyways, I told them about the error and was met with excuses about how busy they are. EVERYONE who deals with generators in Houston currently is I mentioned I was unhappy with the delays, the mistakes and the constant drama I was witnessing and they immediately removed me from their list. Ok great. There are literally hundreds of generator companies with amazing reviews selling the same products with great track records who don't argue back and forth on Facebook with their customers. The immature drama and back and forth they engage in just makes me lose all faith in them as a company. None of that is remotely necessary. Not to mention they are over charging in a time of high stress and peril for most who dealt with the extended power outages in the Houston area. I've also seen on other reviews they threaten to sue you for leaving negative reviews. Who does that!!?? I don't wish ill will against them just sharing my experience to hopefully save someone else my headache.

I also needed about 5 outlets replaced since, due to age, any time you plugged anything into them, the plugs promptly fell out. How annoying! Ruben and his helper came right on schedule, with a call shortly before their arrival to let me know they were on their way. Excellent work, done perfectly! Highly recommend this local business. They've been taking care of all of my electrical needs for a very long time, and there is a reason for that. I trust them implicitly. Trip charge is quoted up front, with additional charges for material and for the length of time/complexity of the job being given after work is done. All in all, they did quite a bit of work for what I thought was a very reasonable fee. I will continue to call Trim whenever I am in need of electrical work. They haven't let me down yet!

We have an old gas fireplace and to start it the front screen and a trim piece have to be removed. They offered to install a remote starter which they did. Now I can light it without removing the screen and it works like a charm. I'm sorry I don't recall their names but the two guys were very professional and friendly and I highly recommend this company if you need work done on your fireplace.

After they worked so hard to advise CenterPoint on what could be done to make sure it all fit well Center Point drug their feet for months delaying our install. Very professional and practical for installing and designing what would work best in terms of properly sizing the generator so our home would operate as normal should their be a blackout. No problem with that. Paul came out and studied the job, was super friendly, and then when he had finished gathering information I made sure he had my correct contact information. He said that he'd send me a quote when he got home later, but the ballpark estimate was between $XXX and $YYYY. He never sent me his official quote. My guess is that he wanted me to reach back out to him so that he could gauge either how desperate I was or how likely he was to get the job with his ballpark estimate. Either way, if he sensed I was indeed desperate or that he was the leading bidder, the price would have been $YYYY (or higher). Not cool at all. Wasted my time.

The carpet is a commodity but John gave very honest pricing. What really matters are the installers. If you carefully review the other stores you see their contracted installers are who disappoint. Not at Lone Star. John's installers have been with him for 15 years so they are really good. The installers are who really matter on your finished product. I also needed float and his crew was great. They got the entire upstairs done in a day. They move all your furniture and move it back at no extra cost. Which is really great!
