I found USA Supreme Services on Yelp and set an appointment. Tom arrived within 30 mins of calling on my appointment day. He saw the fireplace and got to work. Within 4 minutes he said come enjoy your fire. I said what? I was expecting new parts, repair, etc. Nope. He said it was an older unit and he knew how to get it running. I now have a warm living room. I then said well if you can do that then can you look at the other one. The gas knob was stuck inside of the wall and I did not want to break it. He got it turned and boom we have fire! Best money ever spent. Super happy with the service, the timeliness of the appointment and Tom was super personable and friendly. Will definitely use them again! Excited to check out their showroom to see what upgrades I can do to the house soon!

Prior to posting my original 3-star review, I had already made multiple attempts to rectify this issue directly. For context, my baseline purchase was $4,000, and we had planned to spend an additional $5,000 (totaling $9,000) to add 15 Myrtle trees once the fencing was completed. Thankfully, we now know to take our business elsewhere. Before I posted the 3-star review, I was told by Austin that the manager, Bret, would be reaching out to me. That never happened--so I went ahead and posted the review. Only after that, on Monday, 5/20, did Bret finally text me and schedule a call for Tuesday, 5/21. He never called. I had to reach out at the end of the day and was met with the same excuse I had heard before: "We got so busy." That excuse was also given the last time I communicated to ask why no one had contacted me in the first place. In my text response, I clearly said I had given them every opportunity to make things right, but it was evident this wasn't going to happen. At that point, I requested a refund for the items that were ordered but not yet delivered. Bret finally agreed to issue the refund via text on 5/21--but as of today, 5/25, I have yet to receive it. In the meantime, I've sourced replacement roses from another nursery. I originally asked Moon Valley to retrieve the incorrectly colored roses that were planted despite my specific communication. I've received no response or direction on that matter, so I'll be relocating them to the wooded area behind my home. I want to reiterate that Austin and the planting crew did a good job with what they were tasked to do. Unfortunately, management's lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic follow-through has turned what could have been a positive, long-term relationship into a frustrating and disappointing ordeal. As of today, still no refund. Side note - Austin you need to open your own business. You will ruin your credibility with this company. Original Review Here's why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 5: Austin, the salesperson, is the reason I committed to this company. He selected the best plants for my yard, provided thoughtful advice, and offered excellent service--he absolutely deserves 5 stars. The planting team also did a great job with the three trees, 21 shrubs, 3 roses, and 1 potted Calamondin tree, so I would give them 4 stars for their execution. I'm deducting one star for the crew accidentally hitting the AT&T line during planting. While it caused inconvenience, I understand it had rained the days before and the orange marking was likely faint--so I can be fair about that. The biggest disappointment--and the reason this is a 3-star review--is with Moon Valley's inventory, planning, and poor communication. I was never notified that the full order wouldn't be delivered on May 13, and I only found out from the planters on-site. The roses that did arrive were the small size (I ordered big at $65 a piece and look big when I saw in store - see photo on what I got planted - is that big to you?) and wrong color (pink instead of white). What made this worse is that the rescheduled planting for the missing items was pushed out nearly a month, with no effort to prioritize us on schedule to rectify their inventory issue--despite it being due to their own poor planning. Great sales experience and solid planting work, but the lack of communication and accountability from the rest of the company really took away from what should have been a smooth process.

I came home from work after the install and found a lot of the plants were basically dead(see photos). I called Abby that day to complain and she insinuated I had not watered them. It hadn't even been 6 hours. She said she would bring replacements and never showed up after several weeks. I had put down some gutter catches the day before the install and she didn't even bother moving them. She just threw mulch around them and in them(see pictures). She did no work to level or prepare the area. All they did was throw down cardboard and put up metal 4 inch green boarder, didn't even do that well(see pictures), she threw 1 inch of mulch on top. Not even a week went by and grass was growing on the edges and where the seams of the card board were placed. You could see card board around the edges. I complained and She told me to go buy landscaping vinegar to kill the grass. I had planted two redbuds in the bed area months before we had this done , she did not even bother weed around them, It took me two minutes to do. All they did was throw mulch around them like every thing else. I wanted a professional job but ended up with a very amateur job that I could have done myself for 1/4 the price. Her markup is ridiculous. She tried to overcharged me for the 4 inch green boarder and mulch. $1100 for 3 yards of mulch and eleven 4 inch x 8 foot border strips which sell for $24 pieces. Mulch cost $90 for 3 yards and 11 strips of metal boarder is $264. Do the math. She prices her job for perfection but did not deliver. She adjusted the price but it was still a 2.375 times markup. 20% is typical not 237.5%. She also did not bring all the plants. She said they did not have bee balm. Her solution was to offer me seeds. I did not pay for seeds. I found live plants on Amazon. I had them in two days and they looked better than what she planted. Also, she did not check the lighting of the area. the main area in front of the porch is shaded all day . Most of the plants did not do well in shade. Find another company! I now have to fix all her mistakes.

I hired Color Interiors (CI) to install Karndean Art Select LVP throughout house I bought this…read moresummer. Karndean's Art Select is an excellent product that looks like real wood, but improper installation can result in warping, plank separation, waves and bulging, making it look cheap. Original quotes I got for engineered hardwood and for LVP were both right at $17,000, so price wasn't a factor. When I was trying to decide between engineered hardwood and Karndean's Art Select LVP, I explicitly told the salesman that my main concern about LVP was that the installation wouldn't be done correctly. CI salesman repeatedly assured me that he would stay on top of the job to make sure it was installed according to manufacturer's instructions, but once he got my deposit, ~$4,200 of which was non-refundable, he didn't follow through on anything. I had to remind him 1/2 a dozen times about needing to order shoe molding and he didn't check in with the installers once to make sure they were following the manufacturer's installation instructions. Most importantly, they didn't perform a moisture test on the concrete subfloor, or use a 100 lb roller while the planks were being laid down to make sure the adhesive was spread evenly under the LVP. According to Karndean, failure to do these things voids the warranty. In addition to the shoddy installation, the installers were so careless and sloppy that they got greasy handprints all over the walls I had just paid $4,900 to have painted a week earlier. And not only did I have to clean their greasy handprints off of the walls, I also spent 8 hours on my knees washing glue and other messes off of the LVP after they "finished" the installation. When I walk into the foyer of my new house, my eyes are immediately drawn to two areas where the flooring is wavy/bulging and I cannot express how angry I get when I think about this. To remedy the situation, that floor is going to need to be ripped out and a new floor will have to be installed. That would have been bad enough before I moved in, but now that I have furniture in the house, I honestly don't even want to think about what an enormous pain this is going to be. Not to mention the fact that I will also need to have the baseboards repainted, which I had painted a couple of days after the floor was installed (cost was ~$2,300). To add insult to injury, Color Interiors invoiced me an additional $1,800 for floor prep. The purpose of the floor prep was to make sure that any imperfections in the concrete subfloor were covered over and to make the surface completely level. Honestly, if they had installed the flooring correctly and it didn't have waves and bulges in it, paying extra to make sure everything was done right wouldn't bother me. The fact that they had the gall to invoice me $1,800 more than they quoted after doing such shoddy work, however, is infuriating.
