They started out pretty good and have gone downhill since. I have left sever messages for Cory, the owner, with no reply. I went to their offices early this week and fired them. For landscapers. They are terrible. We have neighbors that hired them. When I saw the trimmers I went over to them to tell them they need to cut off all the diseased branches off the lemon trees . The trees are between our houses, and the disease affects my trees. The rotting lemons are not good for anyone. They wouldn't even call the owners to tell them they should do that because it's good for the trees. They really need it. Hey they could have made more money by showing they know about trees. A good landscaper would have known about the disease. They also left the side of the tree they did trim on our side full and hanging over. So there tree looks real stupid. Every other company that has been hired to trim those trees for the last 35 years has done those things. The guy wasn't a very good spokesperson for there company I hope he wasn't the owner. read more

This company is no longer good. I am rating Legacy landscaping on Newport Way in Issaquah, WA by the way. I had terrible experience after someone recommending them but ownership has changed or they are no longer hands on. I opted for their service because I thought expensive meant good quality and good customer service. I spoke to someone, arranged a price and then that person left. I repeated this with another 'manager' and the service started. I was adamant that I want to preserve a natural look and don't want overgrooming but soon my garden was hacked with electric tools and looked awful. They would blow leaves under my deck and ruined pest control box as a result. At this point I was calling them, emailing them and could never get hold of anyone - they do not answer phones or emails. Finally a manager came - third one in 6 months. Had to ask for fertilizer, which should be included. In terms of care - they are no better than much cheaper service. Then they raised their price by 25% not even at the end of the contract. I did not sign the new contract but cancelled it and had to email them several times before someone answered. They stopped my service at once but not the bills - I just received an invoice for service I did not receive for June. Utter shambles of a company. Save yourself some money and hire a cheap service - result will be the same. The people doing the work are nice and good at tidying but like I said, they were blowing leaves under my deck blocking access and ruining our pest control and pruning was not done well so I was pretty disappointed. read more

We absolutely loved the overall transformation of our yard. We loved our on-site lead Conrado. We are very hands on when it comes to projects like this so we were very present and felt like the owner wished we were out of site and a pain when we'd criticize something or ask a question about the process. We are 1 year out and unfortunately still finding tons of glass shards and pieces mixed into what they claimed was the highest quality soil. We asked them to buy a specific brand because we were planning to grow food in the soil and they assured us their product mix was better quality. When we mentioned it on completion they explained all compost has glass broken into it but they are minimal and will not be noticeable or an issue. We have filled 3 or 4 Gatorade bottles full of glass this past year. It very disheartening spending such a large amount of money to transform our yard into a dream yard and we have to keep our kids off the dirt in fear of glass. We came to Legacy with our design plans mostly in place but they are capable of doing design work too. We would recommend working with them but we'd recommend starting from the beginning to build a stronger foundation of trust. read more

Legacy undertook a large scale landscaping job for us. We have a steep sloping back garden with a natural pond with mature plants. Retaining walls, amazing new steps and they replanted the whole thing. Our neighbor was on his 3rd contractor and the project was still going 13 months later. I explains to Chris that completing the job in the timeframe set as well as price was important. The team were incredibly hard working they arrive at 8 and worked to 6pm, they cleared the whole thing in 2 days and the installed drainages, walls, steps, planted trees and lighting, all done within the 6 week timeframe. It was back breaking work. I would highly recommend then. They may not be the cheapest but the do a quality job and deliver on time read more

Had the company come out and remulch my garden, that also included laying down a weed killer blanket to keep all weeds out.. upon completion everything "looked" great. Within about 2 months,and it was winter time weeds were growing through the Mulch like crazy. Definitely think maybe the weed killer was forgotten. So I got a full bed of Mulch for 800$ upon pricing Mulch I could have completed that job myself for about $200.. I would say they are a little on the pricey side for a new company with very little experience..but they were very friendly and professional read more

I couldn't be more of a fan of Legacy Landscaping! Initially I stopped by to purchase a Christmas tree from their lot, then had the good sense to ask for a bid on our HOA's lawn maintenance service. Not only did they come far under the service we had been using, but now (after 4 months of service) it's obvious that they're delivering twice the service, too! Not Recommended We contracted with Legacy for a community monument planting plan which they completed but in negotiations for performing the work they were dishonest in their agreement for firm prices and responsibility for any damages to our monument area or the adjoining City property. Although agreeing to terms and pricing in their presentation to our homeowners, the formal contract submitted for approval changed prices to undefined ranges and required our homeowner association to be responsible for all damages caused by their employees to both our property and the adjoining City sidewalk and street surfaces. We rejected their bid and now warn others to be careful and read their formal contract carefully. read more

These guys are great. They landscaped our aging and weedy back yard; cleaned it up, moved plants and soil for a more open look and manicured the area around our new patio. They reseeded the areas damaged by concrete work and even raked and regraveled our parking area and driveway. This was a three-day project, but the crew cleaned up every day before leaving with leaf blowers and hoses down our new concrete. They built two beautiful yellow pine garden boxes, and left them ready for planting. Chris was reasonable and went out of the way to be available to discuss scope of work. The results are immaculate. Really disappointed... asked them out for getting some estimates on work. Had 3 different projects. Walked through 2 in detail and 1 was a little vague in which we were open to design ideas. After almost two weeks got back a boiler plate design proposal- no estimate ranges for any project work and an incomplete estimate for clean up service that didn't include the full scope discussed (bark much,etc.) Dissapointing as I had used them a few years ago before change in ownership for yard maintenance. read more

The company sent someone to our home for an estimate for a landscaping project. I called back and asked when the estimate would be completed and they said they were working on it. About two weeks later we received an email that they could not do the work because they had too many other obligations. Would not recommend this company. read more

We came here today for a Christmas tree after being disappointed by the selection and prices at one of the most popular tree farms in Issaquah. We found our perfect Douglas fir, over 5 ft for $40. It is like a tree lot, not a farm, but the employees were friendly and helpful. My 3 year old liked the candy canes, cider, and cookies. Would recommend! read more

Just got our Christmas tree from here and what a great experience!! Since we missed Costco trees this year, we wanted to shop local and small business. I quickly went online and found this business just down the freeway! We got in the truck and were excited to find the perfect tree for us!! We were not disappointed!! Legacy Landscaping had several trees all beautifully arranged and really easy to view. The customer service we received in the lot was OUTSTANDING!! Every tree we wanted to look at, there was an employee smiling And ready to grab the tree and show every side. We never had to ask for assistance from anyone. They were just there with smiles and actually happy to help us find the perfect tree. Beautiful trees, OUTSTANDING customer service and free cookies and warm drinks to cap off a wonderful holiday experience!!
